To view saved app and website passwords on a supported Galaxy phone, open Samsung Wallet, tap Menu, scroll to Samsung Pass, then select Sign-in info. Verify your identity when prompted. If you have forgotten your Samsung account password, use account recovery instead; it is separate from the passwords saved in Samsung Pass.
View passwords saved in Samsung Pass
- Open Samsung Wallet and tap Menu.
- Scroll to the Samsung Pass section and tap Sign-in info.
- Complete the identity check using the authentication method requested on your device.
- Choose an app or website entry to view or edit its saved sign-in details.
Samsung’s US instructions also say you can add credentials manually from the Manual tab. The exact labels and availability can vary by model, software version, and region. See Samsung’s guide to using Samsung Wallet on a Galaxy phone.
If Samsung Pass does not appear in Wallet
Check which service is selected for autofill in Settings. The setting is for choosing the provider used to fill credentials; it is not the primary place to inspect saved entries.
- Open Settings and search for Passwords, passkeys, and autofill.
- Open the matching setting. Depending on your software, Samsung documents paths including General management → Passwords, passkeys, and autofill and Security and privacy → More security settings → Passwords, passkeys, and autofill.
- Select Samsung Pass as the preferred service if your credentials are stored there.
- Return to Samsung Wallet and look for Menu → Samsung Pass → Sign-in info.
Samsung notes that settings screens can differ by device model and software version. Its US setup guidance says Samsung Pass setup requires a Samsung account; consult Samsung’s Samsung Pass setup instructions or your local Samsung support page if the names do not match.

Why Samsung Pass asks you to verify your identity
Saved credentials are protected by device authentication. Samsung describes authentication using biometrics and the device screen lock; which options you see depends on your model and setup. If you cannot complete the requested check, use the device’s supported account or screen-lock recovery options. Do not try to bypass the lock or use credential-extraction tools.
Saved passwords and your Samsung account password are different
Samsung Pass stores sign-in information for apps and websites. It does not make the Samsung account password interchangeable with those saved credentials. If you cannot sign in to your Samsung account, use Samsung account ID or password recovery. Recovery options depend on the methods registered to the account and may vary by region. Samsung UK advises contacting Samsung Customer Support if you no longer have access to either the account email address or phone number; see its account support information.

Availability depends on your device and region
Samsung Wallet includes Samsung Pass functionality on supported devices. Samsung’s US support page describes Wallet availability on devices running Android 9 or later, but regional Samsung guidance gives different minimum-version wording. Treat compatibility and menu paths as model-, software-, and region-dependent rather than applying one Android threshold universally. If Wallet or Samsung Pass is missing, check the support information for your country and Galaxy model.
