Amazon gives you two practical ways to find past purchases: use Your Orders for normal browsing and individual invoices, or submit a privacy-data request when you need a broader downloadable archive. The first method is immediate but usually requires saving orders one at a time. The second can include more account data, but Amazon prepares it asynchronously and may provide several files rather than one tidy spreadsheet.
View your Amazon orders on a computer
- Go to Amazon.com or your local Amazon marketplace and sign in.
- Hover over Account & Lists in the top-right corner.
- Select Your Orders.
- Use the date menu near the top of the page to choose a period or year. Amazon commonly opens this list to recent orders, so older purchases may not appear until you change the filter.
- Use Search all orders to search for a product name, seller, or other order detail.
Select an order to see its items, delivery information, payment details, shipping address, and available support options. Depending on the order and marketplace, you may also see Invoice, View invoice, or a receipt option.
Save an invoice or receipt for one order
- Open Account & Lists → Your Orders.
- Find the purchase using the year filter or Search all orders.
- Select Order details or open the order itself.
- Choose Invoice, View invoice, or the equivalent receipt link.
- Use your browser’s print dialog to save it as a PDF, or print a paper copy.
This is the most reliable approach when you need proof of purchase for a return, warranty claim, expense report, or tax file. The normal consumer order page is designed for individual-order retrieval; it generally does not offer a current, verified button to download every invoice at once.

- Open the Amazon Shopping app and sign in.
- Tap the person or account icon.
- Tap Your Orders.
- Use Search all orders or Filter to narrow the list by date or order type.
- Tap an order to view its details and look for an invoice or receipt option.
The location and appearance of the account icon can vary between Android, iPhone, and app versions. If you cannot find the order in the app, try the desktop website; it often exposes more filtering and invoice options.

Check the sections that may be separate from Your Orders
An apparently incomplete order list does not necessarily mean that Amazon deleted the purchase. Different services and order states can use separate pages or filters.

Also check that you are signed in to the correct Amazon account and marketplace. A purchase made on a different account, such as a family member’s account, will not appear in your order history.
Request a downloadable Amazon data archive
If you need a wider record than the order page provides, use Amazon’s privacy and data-request system. Amazon may label the page Request My Data or use a similar name, and the exact order-data category can vary by marketplace and account.

- Sign in to the Amazon account whose data you want.
- Open Amazon’s privacy or personal-data request page. You can usually reach it through the account’s privacy settings or by searching Amazon Help for Request My Data.
- Choose the order-related category if one is offered. If the page does not provide a sufficiently specific option, select the broader data category or all available data.
- Submit the request and complete any email confirmation, one-time code, reauthentication, or identity verification Amazon requests.
- Wait for Amazon to prepare the archive. You do not need to leave the request page open.
- When Amazon sends the completion notice, return to the data-request page, sign in if prompted, and download the archive promptly. Download links can expire.
A full archive may take days, particularly for an old account that uses several Amazon services. It may contain CSV, JSON, HTML, PDF, or other files rather than one accountant-ready spreadsheet. Order information may therefore be split between files, and you may need to search filenames and inspect the included documentation.
What not to rely on for a consumer account
Older guides often direct users to Account & Lists → Order History Reports and promise a CSV export. That workflow should not be treated as a dependable current option for ordinary consumer accounts. Reports indicate that Amazon’s native consumer CSV export was removed in March 2023, although Amazon’s interface can differ by country and account type.
Be cautious with browser extensions that claim to recreate the old Amazon Order History Reporter. Such tools are not Amazon features, may depend on internal pages that change, and can produce empty, incomplete, or failed exports. They also require access to pages containing order and account information. For a complete account-level request, Amazon’s own privacy-data process is safer.

Amazon Business: use the Reporting API for automated exports
Amazon Business accounts have a separate reporting option that is not part of the normal consumer interface. The Amazon Business Reporting API requires developer onboarding, an application client, access and refresh tokens, and the Amazon Business Analytics role.

The API is intended for business automation, not for a quick personal download. Amazon documents availability for several marketplaces, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, India, and Japan.

Common problems and fixes
- An old order is missing: change the date filter, search by product or seller, and check archived orders.
- A canceled order is missing: open the canceled-orders view rather than the default completed-order list.
- A digital purchase is missing: look in the relevant digital-content order area. Digital items do not always appear alongside physical goods.
- There is no invoice button: some sellers, digital products, grocery purchases, and regional order types use a receipt or transaction-details link instead.
- The data-request email has not arrived: check spam and confirm that the request was submitted for the correct account. Amazon may require another sign-in or verification step.
- The downloaded archive is confusing: extract it fully, preserve the original files, and search across CSV, JSON, HTML, and PDF files rather than expecting a single spreadsheet.

Can I download my entire Amazon order history as one CSV file?
For ordinary consumer accounts, Amazon’s standard Your Orders page generally supports viewing orders and retrieving individual invoices, not a dependable one-click full CSV export. For a broader download, submit a privacy/data request instead.
How do I find Amazon orders from several years ago?
On desktop, open Account & Lists → Your Orders and change the date filter to the required year or period. Search all orders can also help. If the purchase remains missing, check archived, canceled, digital, subscription, or grocery-order sections.

No. Archiving removes the purchase from the default order list but does not delete the order record. Use the archived-order view to find it.

How long does an Amazon data request take?
A data request is asynchronous and may take days, especially for an account with a long history or many Amazon services. Amazon normally notifies you when the archive is ready.
Can I download an invoice from the Amazon app?
Open the Amazon app, go to the account area, select Your Orders, open the purchase, and look for an invoice or receipt option. If the option is not visible, use the desktop site, where order-detail controls can be more complete.

Use Your Orders when you need to locate a purchase or save one invoice. Change the date filter and check separate sections for archived, canceled, digital, subscription, and grocery orders. If you need a broader downloadable record, submit an Amazon privacy-data request rather than relying on old CSV-export instructions or unofficial extensions.
