You can use two or more Slack workspaces on an iPhone or iPad without installing Slack twice: add each workspace in the Slack app, then switch between them from Home. Slack’s official mobile instructions document this workflow, but do not confirm that two separately installed copies of Slack are supported.
Add another Slack workspace on iPhone or iPad

Open Slack and tap the Home tab.

Swipe right to open the workspace list.

Tap Add a Workspace, then choose Sign in to another workspace.

Select a sign-in option and follow the prompts. Depending on the workspace, you may need to confirm your email, use a passkey, or sign in through your company’s single sign-on.

Switch between workspaces
From Slack’s Home tab, swipe right to view the workspaces you are signed in to, then tap the one you want to open. This works on both iPhone and iPad.

Two workspaces in one app
This is Slack’s documented setup for using multiple workspace memberships on one device. Slack says you can use the same email address to join multiple workspaces, while each workspace has its own Slack account. See Slack’s account guidance.

Two installed copies of Slack
Slack’s published instructions do not establish whether two independently installed Slack copies can coexist or function separately on one iPhone or iPad. The workspace switcher adds workspaces inside Slack; it does not create a second app icon. Apple’s app sandboxing overview does not answer whether Slack supports duplicate installations, so do not treat separate copies as a confirmed option.

Do you need to install Slack twice?
No, not to use two workspaces. Add both memberships to the existing Slack app and select the workspace you need from the Home tab’s workspace list. Slack is listed as a free iPhone and iPad app in the United States App Store; availability and listing details can change.
