Martian Manhunter’s value in Injustice: Gods Among Us Mobile depends on which card you mean. Prime is built around disrupting an opponent with random effects; Blackest Night cycles through team support states for healing, power generation, and defense. They serve different roles, so there is no supported universal winner.
Injustice: Gods Among Us is a free-to-play collectible card game with touch-based 3-on-3 combat, according to Warner Bros.’ Google Play listing. The listing displays an update date of April 26, 2025; that confirms the listing’s status, not that every mode or card mechanic remains unchanged.
Is Martian Manhunter good in Injustice Mobile?
Both cards can be useful, but their strengths differ. Prime Martian Manhunter is a disruption option: his passive can inflict random effects on an opponent, and a stun or power drain can help create an opening. Blackest Night Martian Manhunter is a team-support option, with Shifter cycling among effects that aid team survival, power generation, and defense. The available guides do not establish a current head-to-head ranking or prove which card performs better in a particular team.
| Card | Passive and role | Offensive setup | Survivability or team support | Evidence qualification |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Prime Martian Manhunter | Telepathic Attack triggers random effects on the opponent; disruption is the main strategic value. | A stun or power drain may open space to use a special or hand off to a stronger teammate. | The historical guide describes relatively high health, supporting a patient approach. | GameFAQs iOS guide, version 5.12, updated May 8, 2018; not current official balance data. |
| Blackest Night Martian Manhunter | Shifter cycles among shared life drain, increased power generation, and increased defense. | The guide lists Son of Mars as unblockable. | The fan guide says the defense state halves incoming damage; that figure is not supported by a controlled current test. | InjusticeOnline fan guide, displayed September 14, 2026. |
What does Prime Martian Manhunter’s passive do?
Telepathic Attack can trigger random effects on the opponent. The GameFAQs iOS character guide highlights stun and power drain as strategically useful outcomes. Because the effect is random, Prime is better understood as a source of disruption than as a character whose passive guarantees a specific opening.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
How to use Prime
- Use him to create interruptions or reduce the opponent’s power when Telepathic Attack produces those effects.
- When a stun gives you an opening, use a special if it fits the situation; the guide lists Phase Assault, Pillar Slam, and Son of Mars as his specials.
- If a stronger teammate is better positioned to capitalize, tag that character in after securing the opening.
The same guide characterizes Prime as relatively low in damage but notes his comparatively high health. Treat that as the guide’s historical assessment, not a verified description of current balance.
What does Blackest Night Martian Manhunter’s Shifter passive do?
Shifter cycles through three states, according to the InjusticeOnline guide: life drain shared with his team, increased power generation, and increased defense. The guide claims the defense state halves incoming damage; no controlled current test is established here, so treat that percentage as a fan-guide claim rather than a confirmed current measurement.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
How to use Blackest Night
- Think of him as a team-support choice rather than a substitute for Prime’s opponent-disruption role.
- His listed specials are Phase Assault, Soul Survivor, and Son of Mars; the guide describes Son of Mars as unblockable.
- The guide also lists Martian Garb, also called Martian Hunter Garb, as an in-game gear card. It says the gear grants health, a chance of unblockable basic attacks for Martian Manhunter characters, and a heal on Special 2 when evolved.
Those gear effects are descriptions of digital game mechanics, not a recommendation to buy a physical item.
Which Martian Manhunter should you choose?
Choose by the job you want the card to do: Prime if you want a chance to disrupt an opponent and set up a teammate, or Blackest Night if you want rotating team sustain, power generation, and defense. The available sources do not provide current team-specific performance data, a controlled comparison, or a measured win rate, so a broader claim that one is stronger is not supported.

How current are the card details?
The Prime strategy assessment comes from a GameFAQs iOS guide updated May 8, 2018. Blackest Night’s abilities are described by a fan guide that displays September 14, 2026; its defense percentage is not independently verified by a controlled test. Warner Bros. maintains an official mobile-game support category for general and technical help, including save restoration and crash troubleshooting. Challenge availability, pack contents, and balance may change, so check the game or official notices for current availability rather than assuming a rotation or mechanic is unchanged.
