Build Electric Surge with Normal Attacks and Resonance Skill, then use Resonance Liberation when it is ready and fits your damage window. At maximum Electric Surge, choose whether to tap Overshock for its described team ATK benefit or hold it to enter Apex Resonance and unlock Thrum of All Sounds. The choice depends on whether you want team support or the Apex follow-up; the sources do not establish one universally optimal rotation.
How Electro Rover’s rotation works
Electro Rover’s Forte Circuit revolves around Electric Surge. Normal Attacks and Resonance Skill restore Electric Surge when they hit. Once the resource is full, Resonance Skill Overshock becomes available, and its input determines what happens next.
Resonance Liberation, Ultimate Tactics, is a separate Electro-damage ability. The ability descriptions do not make it a requirement for Overshock or Apex Resonance, so use it when available and when its burst suits the current damage window.

Build Electric Surge, then choose an Overshock input
- Land Normal Attacks and Resonance Skill hits. These build Electric Surge. There is no universal attack count established for reaching maximum; it depends on successful hits and the combat situation.
- Use Resonance Liberation when its timing fits. Ultimate Tactics deals Electro damage. Treat its timing as a damage-window decision rather than a required Forte step.
- At maximum Electric Surge, choose tap or hold for Overshock. Tap for the described team ATK effect, or hold to enter Apex Resonance and open the Thrum of All Sounds follow-up.
Tap Overshock for team support
The character reference describes tapping Overshock as clearing Electric Surge and granting a team ATK bonus. WuWaBuild reports the bonus as 20% ATK for 30 seconds, but this is a secondary guide’s value, not a verified current-version figure. Check the live skill description before relying on that number.

Hold Overshock for Apex Resonance
Holding the enhanced Overshock enters Apex Resonance and unlocks Thrum of All Sounds. This is the route for continuing into Rover’s chained skill sequence rather than taking the tap option’s described team buff.
Use Thrum of All Sounds while Thunder Rage allows
In Apex Resonance, Thrum of All Sounds has different ground and airborne inputs, which chain different Rover attribute skills. The chained skill determines the attribute of its damage, and the reference also says it triggers Thunder Bane, which deals Electro damage.

Entering Apex Resonance restores Thunder Rage. Thrum of All Sounds consumes Thunder Rage and restores it on hit, so available Thunder Rage governs how far you can continue the sequence. Choose the ground or airborne chain that suits your current position and intended attribute follow-up.
Decide when to hand off to the next character
A character swap at 100 Concerto Energy triggers the outgoing character’s Outro Skill and the incoming character’s Intro Skill, according to a rotation guide updated for version 3.6. Because Forte sequences are character-specific, finish the Rover action whose follow-through you need before swapping.

This is a handoff rule, not a fixed instruction to swap at a particular point in every rotation. Whether to finish Apex follow-through or hand off sooner depends on the team’s timing and the current fight.
