Open the Pickaxe Shop in the Safe Zone. It is on the left side of spawn, beside the Animal Merging machine. Select a pickaxe whose listed Cash price you can afford, click the displayed price, then equip the tool. Every upgrade raises Pickaxe Power, which increases egg damage per swing and reduces the number of swings needed to break an egg; it does not make your character run faster.
The shop uses in-game Cash earned from your animals. You do not need a Roblox gift card or Robux to buy a pickaxe.
Where to find the Pickaxe Shop
Return to the Safe Zone and orient yourself toward the left side of the spawn area. Look for the Animal Merging machine. The Pickaxe Shop is immediately beside it. You do not need to travel to a combat zone, find a hidden merchant, or interact with an animal to open the shop.

Once you are standing at the shop, the interface shows the available pickaxe tiers, each tool’s rarity, its Cash price, and its Power value. The Wooden Pickaxe is the starting tool, so a new player already has a usable pickaxe before making a purchase.

Exact purchase sequence
- Go to the Safe Zone. Use the spawn area as your reference point.
- Walk to the left side of spawn. Find the Animal Merging machine.
- Open the Pickaxe Shop beside the machine. Browse the tools shown in the shop.
- Check your Cash against the displayed price. Prices below are in-game Cash amounts, not real-world dollars.
- Click the amount shown under the pickaxe. This confirms the purchase when you have enough Cash.
- Equip the purchased pickaxe. Buying a stronger tool is not enough if the game has not equipped it; confirm that the selected tool is the one you intend to use before leaving the Safe Zone.
What to do after equipping it
Return to an egg and test the new tool on the same type of target you were breaking before. Compare how many swings are required. This gives you a practical check that the intended pickaxe is active and shows whether breaking eggs, rather than movement or carrying capacity, was the limiting part of your run.
What Pickaxe Power actually changes
Pickaxe Power is the damage value applied to an egg with each swing. If an egg has 30 million health and your Hacker Pickaxe deals 15 million damage per hit, the egg takes two successful swings to break. In general, the minimum number of swings is the egg’s health divided by your per-swing damage, rounded up to the next whole hit.
Higher Power therefore improves the breaking portion of a run in two ways: each hit removes more health, and fewer hits mean less time standing at the egg. The benefit is target-dependent. A large Power increase matters most when an egg’s health is close to, or higher than, your current damage output; it may feel less dramatic on small eggs that already break in one or two swings.

Power is not a movement statistic. It does not increase running speed, shorten the time needed to cross a zone, or make you outrun a guard. If you are already breaking an egg quickly but still fail to escape with the animal, a pickaxe upgrade addresses the wrong part of the run.

The following progression is the list reported by Beebom on October 15, 2026. Every price is an in-game Cash cost. The Wooden Pickaxe is free because it is the starter tool.

The compact suffixes are the shop’s large-number notation: K means thousand, M million, B billion, T trillion, and Qa quadrillion. Treat the table as a dated reference rather than a permanent game contract. The fan guide covering the wider progression warns that prices, requirements, and interfaces can change after updates, so the live shop is authoritative if it differs from these figures.
How to decide which pickaxe to buy next
The best upgrade is the one that fixes the part of your complete run that fails most often. A successful run is more than breaking an egg: you train enough Speed to reach a zone, break the egg, take the animal, avoid the guard, and deliver the animal to your base. If any one of those stages fails, buying a stronger pickaxe may not improve your results.
Buy the next pickaxe when breaking is the bottleneck
- You spend most of the run standing at the egg and waiting for swings to register.
- The animal is taken successfully, but the guard arrives before you can leave because the break phase consumed too much time.
- Your current Power requires many hits while a nearby tier would reduce the count substantially.
- Your movement and satchel capacity are already adequate for the route, but the egg remains slow to destroy.
In these cases, return to the Safe Zone, select the strongest displayed tier you can currently purchase, and test it against the same target. Keep your route and other settings unchanged during the test so the time saved can be attributed to the pickaxe.

Prioritize Speed when travel or guards cause the failure
If you reach the egg quickly, break it quickly, and then lose the animal while running back, movement is the limiting factor. Train Speed or make the movement upgrade that the zone requires before spending a large amount of Cash on Power. A faster pickaxe cannot compensate for a route that is too slow or a guard that catches you during the escape.
Increase satchel capacity when carrying is the problem
If your satchel fills before you are ready to leave, the issue is capacity rather than damage. Expand the satchel or adjust what you collect so that you can complete the run without returning early. A stronger pickaxe only shortens the egg-breaking stage; it does not create additional carrying space.
Change one variable at a time
Do not buy a pickaxe, change your route, increase Speed, and expand the satchel in the same test. Make one change, run the same zone, and observe whether the failed stage improves. This prevents a costly upgrade from being credited for a problem solved by a different change.

The fan guide lists the following Speed references. They are useful planning targets, not guaranteed permanent requirements; zone values may change with updates.

Use these numbers to diagnose access and travel problems. For example, if you cannot reach the Snowy area reliably, reaching the 50,000 Speed reference is a more relevant goal than buying a pickaxe that only improves damage against eggs you cannot yet reach. If you can reach the zone but cannot break its eggs before a guard arrives, Power becomes the more relevant investment.

Start with the low-cost damage jumps
The first three paid tools move from Stone at $80 and Power 4, to Iron at $800 and Power 15, then Golden at $20K and Power 60. These early purchases are relatively inexpensive compared with later tiers and provide clear increases over the Wooden Pickaxe’s Power 1. Buy them when breaking time is the reason your run fails, not simply because a higher rarity is visible.
Understand the widening price scale
After Golden, the listed prices rise through $160K for Diamond, $1.2M for Strawberry, $6M for Cactus, and $40M for Lightning. The later sequence continues through hundreds of millions, trillions, and quadrillions of Cash. Keep a specific target in mind rather than spending every balance immediately: if your current tool already breaks the eggs in your route quickly, saving for a movement or satchel improvement may produce a better completed-run rate.

Compare your current Power with the health of the eggs you actually farm. A tool that changes a target from eight swings to four is valuable when guards are close; the same upgrade has little practical effect if the egg already breaks in one swing. The Hacker example illustrates the calculation: 30 million health divided by 15 million damage equals two hits.

Do not confuse rarity with the upgrade you need
Rarity labels—Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Divine, Cosmic, Secret, Celestial, Void, and Omega—describe the shop’s tiers. They do not change the separate roles of Power, Speed, or satchel capacity. Choose by the failure you need to fix and the listed Power you can afford, not by rarity alone.
Troubleshooting upgrade problems
The shop is missing
Go back to the Safe Zone and check the left side of spawn. Use the Animal Merging machine as the landmark; the Pickaxe Shop is beside it. If the arrangement does not match, rejoin or inspect the current spawn area because interfaces and placements can change after updates.
The price is visible but the purchase will not complete
Confirm that your Cash balance meets the displayed amount, then click the amount shown under the selected pickaxe again. The listed figures are in-game Cash costs, so a Roblox gift card or Robux balance does not substitute for the required Cash.
The new tool seems to do no damage increase
Return to the shop and verify that the purchased pickaxe is equipped rather than merely owned. Then test it on an egg and count the swings. Compare the result with the tool’s listed Power and remember that Power changes damage, not running speed.
You still get caught after upgrading
Measure where the run fails. If the egg breaks quickly but the guard catches you on the return route, work on Speed, route timing, or the zone’s movement requirement instead of immediately buying another Power tier.
You cannot carry enough animals or items
If the satchel reaches capacity before extraction, increase capacity or collect less per trip. Pickaxe upgrades do not expand the satchel.
Your zone requirement does not match the reference
Use the live game value. The published Speed references are a snapshot, and the fan guide specifically warns that zone requirements can change with updates. Record the current in-game requirement before planning a long upgrade grind.
