To unlock the Tekken 8 crossover content in Asphalt Legends, open the game while the Tekken 8 Spotlight is live, select it from the event hub, and complete its races and objectives. The published event window is 14 October through 11 November 2026. There is no announced promo code or separate website redemption step.
The headline reward is the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Tekken 8 ED. The crossover also adds fighter decals, a Tekken-inspired crash-and-KO mode, and a Spotlight car lineup used by the event. Exact blueprint totals, star requirements, and stage rewards are shown on the live in-game event screen rather than in the public announcement.
Tekken 8 Spotlight: the essential details
Gameloft introduced the crossover in its Brawl of the Deep patch notes dated 13 October 2026. The activity is an in-game Spotlight, not a separate account giveaway. Availability is tied to the event timer shown in Asphalt Legends, so the event hub is the definitive place to check whether your session can still enter it.

How to enter the event and work toward the Lancer
Use this sequence whenever you start the crossover. It keeps you from spending resources before you know a stage’s requirement.
- Check the event timer. Launch Asphalt Legends and look in the event hub for Tekken 8 Spotlight. Confirm that it is marked active and note the remaining time shown in your client.
- Open the Spotlight. Select the Tekken 8 tile rather than looking for a general redeem-code menu. The published instructions present progression as an in-game activity.
- Read the current stage before entering. Open the stage or objective card and inspect its required car, race condition, and reward preview. The public patch notes do not give a universal stage-by-stage table, so the card in your version is the authoritative requirement.
- Use an eligible car. If the stage names a car, enter with that car or with the version permitted by the stage. The event calendar identifies the cars associated with the Spotlight, but it does not state that every one is automatically available to every player.
- Complete the race or objective. Finish the listed task, then return to the event progression screen. A result alone is not the same as collecting a displayed reward; look for the stage’s completion or claim control.
- Claim the reward. Collect blueprint, currency, part, or pack rewards from the stage panel when the interface presents them. Unclaimed rewards can make your garage total look unchanged even after a successful run.
- Check the garage and progression panel. Review the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Tekken 8 ED entry after claiming blueprints. The event interface will show whether you have reached the car’s unlock threshold or are progressing toward a later star level.
- Repeat the available objectives. Continue through the open stages and revisit objectives you can now satisfy with newly earned resources. The event screen, rather than the patch-note announcement, determines which stage becomes available next.
What the crossover can reward
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Tekken 8 ED
The Lancer is the headline crossover vehicle. Treat it as a blueprint-driven event target: collect the blueprints awarded by the Spotlight, then use the live car panel to see the exact number needed for the initial unlock and any subsequent star-up. Those numbers are not published in Gameloft’s announcement, so a guide that gives a fixed total without identifying an in-game screen is not supported by the official information.
Fighter-themed decals
The update adds decals featuring Jin, Kazuya, Reina, Lili, and Yoshimitsu. The patch notes establish the characters represented, but they do not publish a separate acquisition table for each design. Check the reward preview attached to the relevant Spotlight stage or objective to see when a decal is offered.

Gameloft’s Help Center describes the reward types an event can award as Credits, Tokens, Blueprints, Import Parts, and Card Packs. A car-launch event can also unlock a new car. That establishes the categories available to event designers, not a guaranteed quantity for this particular Spotlight. Use the reward preview on each live stage for the amount and collection conditions.

The Tekken-inspired crash-and-KO mode
The crossover introduces a mode built around direct clashes. A match is best-of-three: players score a round by crashing into opponents to record a knockout, or by having the most life when the timer expires. This is a separate gameplay objective from the normal blueprint track, so read the mode’s own win condition before assuming that simply finishing a race will satisfy it.
Cars named in the Tekken 8 Spotlight
Gameloft’s official event calendar names seven cars for the Spotlight. The calendar identifies the event lineup; it does not, by itself, promise that each car is a free reward or that every stage uses all seven. A stage card may require one of them, and your account may need to obtain or upgrade a required vehicle through the normal game systems.

Do not assume that owning a listed car automatically completes a stage. The requirement can include a particular class, rank, star level, or objective condition; only the stage’s current card tells you which condition applies.

The Spotlight is time-limited, while your Credits, Tokens, and upgrade materials may be useful elsewhere. Use the following decision order when several stages are available.

- Start with the reward you cannot obtain elsewhere during the event. If a stage offers Lancer blueprints or a Tekken decal, identify its completion condition before spending on a lower-priority currency reward.
- Separate unlock progress from star-up progress. The first goal is to reach the car’s unlock threshold. After that, compare the benefit of additional stars with the value of completing another objective. The exact thresholds are displayed in the car or event panel.
- Prefer stages that match cars you already own. A stage requiring a garage car you can enter immediately may be a more efficient use of limited event time than one that requires a new purchase or a lengthy upgrade path.
- Read the reward preview before using resources. A displayed blueprint or decal has a direct progression value; a generic currency reward may be better saved if the stage does not advance your primary target.
- Work backward from the event timer. Complete objectives with clear, repeatable conditions first. Leave enough time to claim rewards and revisit the progression screen rather than waiting until the final session.

What the announcement does not tell you
Several details players commonly search for are not included in the public patch notes. The absence of a published number is important because event configurations can be presented differently by stage or account progression.
- Total Lancer blueprints: no exact total is stated.
- Blueprints per stage: no public stage-by-stage reward table is provided.
- Star gates: the announcement does not list the blueprint counts required for each star level.
- Car ownership rules: the calendar names the event cars but does not state that all are loaned, free, or required in every stage.
- Decal distribution: the named fighters are confirmed, but a public schedule for each decal is not provided.
- Mode-specific rewards: the best-of-three rules are described, but the announcement does not give a complete reward table for every outcome.
For each of these points, use the reward preview, requirement text, and progression counter inside your current event. Those panels reflect the configuration that actually governs your account.
Troubleshooting the Tekken 8 Spotlight
The Spotlight is not visible
First check whether the published availability period has ended and whether the game is displaying the latest event-hub content. If the event timer is active for other players but the tile is missing on your account, close and relaunch the game, then inspect the event hub again. Do not search for a web code: the public announcement does not provide one.

A stage is locked
Open the locked stage’s information panel and read the requirement rather than repeatedly entering it. A lock can reflect a prerequisite objective, a required car, or a progression condition. The exact reason should be shown on the stage card; the announcement does not define one universal lock rule.

You finished a race but received no visible blueprint
Return to the Spotlight progression screen and check whether the reward needs to be claimed manually. Then inspect the car’s blueprint counter in the garage. A race result can complete an objective while leaving the reward in the event panel until you collect it.
You do not have the required car
Record the exact car and any rank or star condition shown by the stage. Compare that requirement with the cars in your garage before spending Tokens or upgrade materials. If the stage is optional, prioritize an objective whose requirement you already meet; if it is mandatory for the Lancer path, the event screen will show the relevant prerequisite.
The event ends before you reach the unlock threshold
Claim every completed reward immediately, then concentrate on stages that award the primary car’s blueprints. Avoid diverting resources to a star-up or cosmetic objective until the unlock counter is secure. Once the event timer expires, the public announcement does not promise that unfinished Spotlight progress can be completed later.

Open the event hub in Asphalt Legends and select the tile labeled Tekken 8 Spotlight. If it is absent, check the event timer and current client content before looking for other menus.
