To reach Takashiro in Forza Horizon 6, finish the opening Horizon Qualifiers, fill the Horizon Festival Points meter, and complete the Horizon Invitational. The Invitational awards your first Wristband and opens the World Map, after which you can drive into Takashiro and take part in its races, roads, landmarks, and Discover Japan activities. The official guides currently available do not identify a separate Takashiro-only mission, Stamp total, or special Wristband requirement.
The short answer: complete the opening festival progression
Takashiro is part of the Japan map, but the game introduces the world through a short campaign opening rather than giving you unrestricted access immediately. Your first objective is not a Takashiro quest. It is admission to the Horizon Festival.
- Start the prologue and meet Mei and Jordy.
- Complete the six Horizon Qualifier events. They can be tackled in any order.
- Watch the Horizon Festival Points meter while completing those events.
- When the meter is full, enter and complete the Horizon Invitational.
- Collect the first Wristband awarded after the Invitational.
- Open the World Map from the Pause menu and drive toward Takashiro.
Playground Games describes this sequence as completing the Horizon Qualifiers and then the Horizon Invitational to earn the first Wristband and make it into the Horizon Festival. Its starting guide states that the World Map is unlocked at this point. Together, those instructions are the documented early-game route into the open Japan map.

1. Finish the prologue
Begin the campaign and follow the introductory sequence until you meet Mei and Jordy. The prologue establishes the festival context and leads you to the opening qualification events. There is no reason to search the full map for Takashiro during this opening sequence; the map-based exploration loop comes later.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
2. Complete the six Horizon Qualifiers
The opening map contains six Horizon Qualifier events. You may complete them in any order, so choose the events that match the car and driving style you are currently using. The important progress indicator is the Horizon Festival Points meter, not a Takashiro-specific counter.
Keep checking the meter after each qualifier. If it is not full, continue entering the remaining qualifier events rather than looking for a hidden regional objective. The qualifiers are the campaign activity that fills the requirement for the next major event.
3. Enter the Horizon Invitational when the meter is full
Once the Horizon Festival Points meter is full, the Horizon Invitational becomes the next required step. Enter it through the campaign prompt or the event marker presented by the game, then complete the event. Finishing the Invitational is what moves the opening progression forward; merely filling the points meter is not the final gate.

The first Wristband is awarded after the Horizon Invitational. This is the meaningful progression milestone for entering the Horizon Festival and moving from the introduction into broader Japan exploration. It is the Wristband progression that the official campaign material confirms, rather than a separate Takashiro badge or Stamp challenge.
5. Use the World Map to reach Takashiro
After the Invitational and first Wristband, open the World Map from the Pause menu. Locate Takashiro and drive toward the region using the roads and event markers shown on the map. As you travel, the game can reveal races, roads, landmarks, and Discover Japan activities connected with the area.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
You do not need to finish every activity in another region before entering Takashiro. The documented progression opens the map for exploration after the first Wristband; the remaining work is choosing which events and discoveries to pursue.
Is there a Takashiro-specific unlock requirement?
No Takashiro-only requirement is identified in the official material currently available for this progression. The official full-map coverage confirms Takashiro as a named region on the Japan map, but it does not publish a dedicated mission, Stamp count, Wristband, race win, or collectible threshold that unlocks it.
That means claims about a secret Takashiro mission or a required number of Stamps should be treated as unverified unless a later official update or a reliable, version-specific in-game guide documents one. The confirmed route is the general opening progression: qualifiers, a full Horizon Festival Points meter, the Horizon Invitational, and the first Wristband.
What to do if Takashiro still appears locked
If you have completed the opening sequence but the region is not behaving as expected, work through these checks in order. They target progression state and map loading rather than an undocumented regional quest.
- Confirm every qualifier: Check that all six Horizon Qualifier events are complete and that the Horizon Festival Points meter reached full capacity.
- Confirm the Invitational: Completing qualifiers alone is not enough. Verify that you entered and finished the Horizon Invitational.
- Confirm the first Wristband: The Wristband should be awarded after the Invitational. If the award sequence has not occurred, the opening progression is not finished.
- Open the World Map from Pause: The starting guide places World Map availability after this progression. Check the map rather than relying only on the immediate post-race screen.
- Reload the map or session: If Takashiro remains missing after the confirmed milestones, reload the current map or session and check again. The official material reviewed does not document another Takashiro-specific gate.
A reload can resolve a map or session state that has not refreshed correctly, but it does not replace an unfinished qualifier or Invitational. Check the campaign milestones first so that you do not mistake incomplete progression for a loading problem.

Takashiro versus Legend Island
One source of confusion is the separate Legend Island progression. Legend Island is explicitly tied to the Gold Wristband, which is awarded only after all seven Festival Wristbands. Playground Games describes the Gold Wristband as the point at which players receive an invitation to Legend Island, an exclusive region with its own events, tracks, and areas to explore.
That requirement belongs to Legend Island, not to the documented Takashiro route. Takashiro is a named region on the main Japan map and has no published Gold Wristband requirement in the official material described above.
| Region or progression | Confirmed requirement | What it gives you |
|---|---|---|
| Takashiro | Complete the Horizon Qualifiers, fill the Horizon Festival Points meter, complete the Horizon Invitational, and earn the first Wristband. No additional Takashiro-only gate is officially stated. | Access to the named Takashiro area on the Japan map and its available races, roads, landmarks, and Discover Japan activities. |
| Legend Island | Earn the Gold Wristband after all seven Festival Wristbands. | An invitation to a separate exclusive region with unique events, tracks, and areas. |
| World Map | Reach the post-Invitational opening progression; the starting guide says the map is unlocked at this point. | Map-based travel and access to the broader Japan exploration loop. |
Do you need Stamps, a story mission, or a particular Wristband?
Stamps
No official source in the available material names a Stamp requirement for Takashiro. Do not delay your trip on the assumption that a particular Stamp total is mandatory.
A Takashiro story mission
No separate Takashiro-only story mission is identified. The required story progression is the opening qualifier-and-Invitational sequence.
A special Takashiro Wristband
The first Wristband is the relevant early milestone because it admits you to the Horizon Festival and opens the map-based exploration phase. There is no separately named Takashiro Wristband in the official progression described here.

The Gold Wristband
The Gold Wristband is relevant to Legend Island after all seven Festival Wristbands. It should not be used as evidence of a Takashiro gate.
What you can find in Takashiro after access
Once the map is available, Takashiro is more than a destination marker. Continue driving through the region to reveal its roads, landmarks, races, and Discover Japan activities. You can choose whether to prioritize competitive events, sightseeing-style discoveries, or optional map collectibles.
Documented Treasure Car route
Windows Central documents a 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III Treasure Car in Takashiro. To find it, follow the marked dirt roads beside a small river toward the waterfall. The car is at the end of the track before the waterfall.
This is a Treasure Car rather than a Barn Find. A Treasure Car is immediately usable after collection, while a Barn Find requires restoration before it can be driven. Therefore, reaching this route after the first Wristband can produce a usable car immediately; it does not require waiting for a restoration process.

- Open the World Map after the opening progression is complete.

- Follow the dirt roads alongside the small river.

- Check the end of the track just before the waterfall for the Treasure Car.
- Collect it and verify that it is available for immediate use as a Treasure Car.
Choosing the best progression route
There is only one confirmed gate into the early open-map phase, but players can approach the newly available content with different priorities. Your choice changes what you do after the first Wristband, not the qualifier requirement itself.

| Priority | Recommended approach | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Fastest access to Takashiro | Complete qualifier events efficiently, monitor the Horizon Festival Points meter, and go straight to the Horizon Invitational when it unlocks. | You will see less of the optional content before the map opens. |
| Exploration depth | After earning the first Wristband, follow roads through Takashiro and complete Discover Japan activities, landmarks, and available races as they appear. | This takes longer than heading directly to the next campaign event. |
| Optional car hunting | Use the Takashiro dirt-road route beside the river to reach the waterfall Treasure Car location. | The route is optional and is not part of the documented region-access gate. |
| Exclusive-region access | Work toward all seven Festival Wristbands and the Gold Wristband for Legend Island. | This is a separate, longer progression and does not substitute for the Takashiro route. |
Common mistakes and their fixes
Stopping after the qualifiers
Completing the six qualifiers fills the progression meter, but the Horizon Invitational still has to be completed. Return to the campaign event selection and finish the Invitational before troubleshooting the map.
Looking for a Takashiro marker before the map opens
The opening sequence is not the full exploration loop. Finish the Invitational, receive the first Wristband, and then check the World Map from the Pause menu.
Waiting for the Gold Wristband
The Gold Wristband is associated with Legend Island after all seven Festival Wristbands. It is not a documented prerequisite for Takashiro.

Races, landmarks, Discover Japan activities, and the Takashiro Treasure Car are exploration content. The available official material does not state that completing them is required before entering the region.
Trusting an unexplained Stamp requirement
Because no official Takashiro Stamp threshold is stated, do not grind an unspecified number of Stamps as a first response. Verify the qualifier, Invitational, and first-Wristband milestones instead.
What is confirmed and what remains unspecified
The confirmed facts are narrow but sufficient to play through the opening gate: the six qualifiers can be completed in any order; the Horizon Festival Points meter must be filled; the Horizon Invitational follows; the first Wristband is awarded afterward; and the World Map becomes available for Japan exploration.
What remains unspecified is whether a future official update, platform-specific build, or later support article could add a Takashiro-only condition. The current official material described here does not provide one. If your game shows a distinct region lock after the first Wristband, record the exact on-screen message and check the game’s current official support or update notes before assuming that Stamps or another Wristband are required.
Quick checklist
- Prologue completed.
- Mei and Jordy met.
- All six Horizon Qualifiers completed.
- Horizon Festival Points meter filled.
- Horizon Invitational completed.
- First Wristband received.
- World Map opened from the Pause menu.
- Takashiro selected as a destination.
- Map or session reloaded if the region remains absent.
Following that checklist addresses every documented step for reaching Takashiro. Once the first Wristband has moved you into the open Japan phase, the region is intended to be approached through the World Map rather than through a separate published unlock mission.
