To access Rolling LIVE Highlights, install the add-on for the same platform version as Once Upon A KATAMARI, launch the base game, and open the new Super Stream select plaza. The DLC’s 10 quests are listed there. Nintendo’s official listing does not identify a story mission, level, or other progression requirement, so no specific milestone can be confirmed.
What actually unlocks
Rolling LIVE Highlights adds a destination inside the base game rather than a separate application. The destination is a select plaza named Super Stream. Once the add-on is installed and recognized, choose Super Stream from within Once Upon A KATAMARI to reach the DLC content.
Nintendo’s store description states: “A new select plaza called “Super Stream” will become accessible from within “Once Upon a Katamari.”” The same listing identifies 10 new quests in that plaza. It does not say that you must finish a chapter, reach a rank, create a new save, or complete a particular task first.

You must own the base game
Rolling LIVE Highlights requires Once Upon A KATAMARI. The add-on cannot be used as a stand-alone game. If you bought the DLC separately, make sure the base game is installed on the same system or PC account.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
The platform version must match
DLC licenses are tied to a platform and, in some cases, a regional storefront. Buy and install the add-on for the same platform family as your copy of the game: Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC through Steam. A purchase made for one platform should not be assumed to transfer to another.
Installation must be complete
Downloading a purchase and finishing its installation are separate steps. Check the platform’s game-management or add-on screen and confirm that Rolling LIVE Highlights is installed, not merely queued. On PC, allow the Steam download to finish before launching the game; on consoles, wait for any pending content installation shown by the system.
Step-by-step: find the DLC in the game
- Install or select the base game. Start the installed version of Once Upon A KATAMARI associated with the account that owns Rolling LIVE Highlights.
- Confirm the add-on is present. Use your platform’s “manage game,” “add-ons,” or equivalent content screen. Menu names differ by system, but the purpose is to verify that the DLC has finished installing.
- Launch Once Upon A KATAMARI. Do not look for a separate Rolling LIVE Highlights icon; the content is accessed from the base game.
- Open the game’s select-plaza menu. Super Stream is described as a new select plaza inside the game. Navigate to the same area where the other selectable plazas or activities are shown.
- Choose Super Stream. Select it to enter the DLC area. The 10 Rolling LIVE Highlights quests should be available from there.
- Pick a quest. The add-on also supplies 12 Katamari-series background-music tracks, six new cousins, and 18 costume items. These are DLC additions; the official listing does not describe a separate unlock sequence for each individual item.
The exact menu wording and the point at which a plaza appears can vary with the game’s interface and platform. The confirmed destination is Super Stream; no official source establishes an earlier mission or required save state.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
If Super Stream is missing
Because the published listing does not document a progression gate, troubleshoot ownership and installation before assuming that you have missed a quest or level requirement.
1. Check that the base game and DLC are on the same platform
Verify the platform shown on the DLC purchase and the platform running the game. For example, a console add-on will not be detected by a PC copy, and a purchase for one console family should not be presumed compatible with another. If you use multiple user accounts, confirm that the account with the DLC entitlement can launch the base game.
2. Verify the edition and package contents
A physical copy of the base game is not evidence that Rolling LIVE Highlights is included. The publisher lists a separate physical Rolling Live Highlights Edition that bundles the game and the DLC, while a Standard Edition contains the game. Read the package or store description for the exact platform and included content before buying another copy.

3. Let every download and update finish
Open the platform’s download queue or storage-management screen. If the add-on is paused, waiting for space, or still installing, complete that process and then start the game again. Keep the console or PC connected to the account that made the purchase.

4. Close and relaunch the game
After installation completes, fully exit the game and launch it again. This is a general way to make a newly installed add-on reinitialize; it is not an officially stated unlock requirement. Do not delete save data merely to test the DLC.
5. Check region and storefront details
Store availability and licenses can differ by region. Confirm that the DLC and the base-game edition are sold for the same account region and that the store reports the add-on as owned or installed. If a physical disc or cartridge comes from a different region than the account, ask the platform’s support service whether the licenses are compatible.

6. Contact current support if the entitlement is valid
If the add-on is installed, the account owns it, the platform matches, and Super Stream still does not appear, consult the game’s current support material or the platform’s purchase-support channel. The available official listing does not provide a hidden mission, level number, or other manual workaround, so inventing a specific unlock code or story step would be unreliable.
What Rolling LIVE Highlights includes
| Content | Amount | Where to access or use it |
|---|---|---|
| New quests | 10 | Inside the Super Stream select plaza |
| Katamari-series BGM tracks | 12 | Playable during stages, according to the official listing |
| New cousins | 6 | Added as DLC character content; the listing does not specify a separate unlock condition |
| Costume items | 18 | Added as DLC customization content; the listing does not specify a separate unlock condition |
The quantities above come from Nintendo’s official store listing retrieved October 13, 2026. They describe the content included with the add-on, not a promise that every item is available before entering Super Stream.
Platforms and release timing
Bandai Namco announced an October 8, 2026 launch for Rolling LIVE Highlights on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A launch date does not guarantee identical release timing in every country: storefront publication, age ratings, and regional catalog rules can affect when the add-on can be purchased or downloaded.

When checking a listing, match all three identifiers:
- the platform (for example, Xbox Series X|S or Steam);
- the regional storefront or account; and
- the edition of Once Upon A KATAMARI you actually own.
Buying the right version
The publisher’s shop lists multiple editions. The important distinction for this unlock question is whether the package contains only the base game or also includes Rolling LIVE Highlights.
| Edition or listing | What is established | What to verify before purchase |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | Publisher listing identifies it as the game edition. | Do not assume the DLC is included; check the current product description. |
| Rolling Live Highlights Edition | Publisher listing presents it as a package containing the base game and Rolling LIVE Highlights. | Confirm platform, region, physical or digital format, and the exact contents of the package. |
| Rolling LIVE Highlights add-on | Separate DLC that requires Once Upon A KATAMARI. | Ensure the base game is owned on the same platform and account. |
| Royal Sound Edition | Publisher listings show a separate edition with different included content. | Read the live listing; the available description does not establish that it includes Rolling LIVE Highlights. |
If you already own the base game, buying the stand-alone add-on is the relevant option. If you do not own it, compare the Standard and Rolling Live Highlights Edition contents rather than purchasing a physical base-game copy and assuming the DLC is on the disc or cartridge.

Price and availability caveat
An Xbox US store listing showed Rolling LIVE Highlights at $11.99 when checked October 13, 2026. That is a US Xbox storefront snapshot, not a universal price. Currency conversion, tax, platform fees, regional pricing, and later promotions can change the amount shown to you. Use the live listing for your account and platform as the authoritative price.
What is not confirmed about the unlock
- No official requirement to finish a particular story chapter has been published.
- No level, rank, number of rolled objects, or quest-completion threshold has been identified.
- No separate download code, new save file, or mandatory restart is specified in the listing.
- The listing confirms that Super Stream becomes accessible from within the base game, but it does not state exactly when it appears on a first-time save.
Those omissions matter. A guide that claims a precise mission or level would be presenting an unsupported requirement. Start by checking the entitlement and installation path above; if the plaza remains absent, use current official support rather than risking your save with unverified fixes.
Quick checklist
- Base game: Once Upon A KATAMARI is installed and playable.
- Ownership: The account launching the game owns Rolling LIVE Highlights or the bundle edition that includes it.
- Platform: DLC and base game are for the same platform family.
- Region: Storefront and physical/digital edition are compatible with the account region.
- Installation: The add-on download and installation are complete.
- In-game location: Open the select-plaza area and choose Super Stream.
- Support: If it is still missing after those checks, consult current publisher or platform support; no documented story gate is available.
Bottom line
Rolling LIVE Highlights is unlocked by installing the compatible add-on and finding Super Stream inside Once Upon A KATAMARI. That plaza contains the 10 new quests. The official information confirms the destination and DLC contents but does not publish a progression milestone, so focus on platform matching, account ownership, edition contents, and completed installation rather than searching for an unverified mission requirement.
