To claim the Gilded SMG in 007 First Light, sign in to an IOI Account, link the platform profile that owns the game, then launch the game online and check its customization options. The skin-specific steps below come from a guide updated October 5, 2026; IOI’s official FAQ confirms the general account-linking and reward-check process but does not name the Gilded SMG.
Link the IOI Account to the profile that owns the game
- Sign in to your IOI Account or create one on the IOI Account site.
- Open Linked accounts and connect the platform profile where you own 007 First Light. IOI’s general instructions cover Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series; the Gilded SMG guide also names Steam, Epic, PlayStation, and Xbox. Use the same profile you use to play, since linking a different one may leave the reward unavailable. See IOI’s FAQ and the Gilded SMG guide updated October 5, 2026.
Check for the reward in-game
- Launch 007 First Light on the linked platform while connected to the internet. IOI says an online launch is needed to check the linked reward entitlement.
- Open Customization and look for the reward. IOI also says you can use Tac-Sim to check and equip unlocked rewards.
Equip the Gilded SMG skin
The October 5, 2026 guide reports that the Gilded SMG becomes available after you progress beyond the prologue or opening chapters. It gives this equip path: Customizations > Weapons. Select the SMG and choose the Gilded style. This timing and skin-specific menu path are guide-reported rather than confirmed by IOI’s FAQ.
Do you need a code?
The skin-specific guide describes the Gilded SMG as an automatic reward for existing IOI Account holders and does not describe a code or challenge. IOI’s FAQ explains how to redeem codes for rewards that come with one, but does not say that the Gilded SMG uses that process. Do not look for or enter a code for this skin unless IOI provides one or updates its instructions.
