Return to the world after the exam and search for NPC Rohan. The community guide identifies Rohan as the interaction that activates the next part of the route. Use the interaction prompt and read the complete dialogue rather than closing it immediately.
- If Rohan has no dialogue, confirm that the exam completion was saved.
- Check whether the game requires a specific area, time, party state, or prior quest before the interaction appears.
- Rejoin once before assuming the feature is unavailable; a server or quest-state refresh can change what an NPC displays.

3. Start meditation
After Rohan’s interaction, look for the meditation action, prompt, or menu entry. The guide says meditation is how Nen grows and that it gates progression through abilities, skills, and techniques.
- Stand in the location or stance requested by the current prompt, if one is shown.
- Activate meditation using the control displayed by the game rather than assuming a keyboard key from another Roblox experience.
- Remain in the state long enough to see a progress indicator, aura change, experience gain, or other confirmation.
- Stop and check your Nen-related menus before moving to determine whether progress was recorded.
No tested value is available for meditation ticks, total time, interruption rules, resource costs, or offline progress. Movement, damage, disconnection, or leaving the server may cancel an attempt, so verify that a session has saved before treating it as completed.

4. Use meditation as a progression gate
According to the community guide, meditation is not merely a cosmetic animation. It gates access to later Nen Abilities, Nen Skills, and Nen Techniques. If a menu remains locked, continue the meditation cycle and inspect the requirement text instead of changing types at random.
The guide does not publish a complete unlock chart. Record each requirement shown in your client, including any level, currency, quest, or type restriction. Because the game may be in Early Access or changing balance, a requirement visible in one update may not apply after a patch.

Which type is best for a beginner?

- Dialogue from the NPC who handled your Nen activation.

Take a screenshot or write down the exact label before selecting a confirmation button. If the game shows no type, do not infer one from your avatar, attack color, or a source-fiction personality chart; none of those is evidence of Beyond’s implementation.
Practical meditation checklist
Use this checklist each time you train so you can distinguish a failed input from a slow progression system:
- Confirm that the Hunter Exam is marked complete.
- Confirm that Rohan’s dialogue has advanced beyond the initial interaction.
- Read the current meditation prompt and use its displayed control.
- Watch for a progress, aura, experience, or unlock indicator.
- Remain still until one complete gain is visible.
- Open Nen Abilities, Nen Skills, and Nen Techniques to see which requirement changed.

The Hunter Exam cannot be found
Check the current quest tracker, spawn instructions, and server announcements. The official listing does not publish the exam’s location, and the community guide does not provide coordinates. If no exam exists in your client, the game may be using a different early-access build or the feature may be temporarily unavailable.
The exam is complete but Rohan does nothing
Recheck the completion state, finish any newly added quest objective, and rejoin once. If Rohan still has no interaction, record the server version and the exact dialogue. Do not pay an unverified fee or repeat the exam indefinitely without a visible requirement.

Meditation starts but Nen does not increase
Look for interruption conditions such as movement, damage, menu changes, or a minimum session length. Confirm that the progress indicator changes before stopping. If the value resets after rejoining, treat that as a possible save or server issue rather than proof that a different Nen type is required.
An ability remains locked
Open the lock description and copy its stated requirement. The guide establishes that meditation gates progression, but it does not establish that meditation is the only requirement. A quest, type, level, currency, or prerequisite technique may also be necessary in the current build.
The game is not available
The Roblox listing reported no running experiences on October 13, 2026. Try again later and check the experience’s current status. Until a server is running, no external guide can verify controls, costs, balance, or whether the reported Hunter Exam–Rohan–meditation sequence still applies.

In Hunter×Hunter source fiction, the four foundational terms have established meanings. HUNTER×WORLD describes:
- Ten: keeping aura flowing around the body.
- Zetsu: cutting off the flow of aura.
- Ren: producing a greater amount of aura than usual.
- Hatsu: freely manipulating aura.
These definitions explain why a Roblox game might use familiar labels, but they are context rather than a manual for Beyond. The community guide’s eight-technique structure and any in-game names should be treated as separate game mechanics until the developer documents a direct correspondence. A fiction reference cannot tell you Beyond’s keybind, cooldown, damage value, meditation rate, or unlock cost.
What to verify after a major update
Type advice and progression routes can become stale when a game is in Early Access. After a significant patch, verify the following in the current client:
- Whether the Hunter Exam still unlocks Nen.
- Whether Rohan remains the activation NPC and whether his location or dialogue changed.
