AION 2’s in-game Auction House lets players buy and sell eligible items, and NCSoft also refers to a World Auction House. Access, item eligibility, fees, and market scope can vary by region and account status. Before spending or listing anything, check the rules and costs shown in your live client; Korean-region notices do not establish that Global uses the same terms.
How to buy items in the AION 2 Auction House
Use the Auction House or World Auction House option shown in your current client. The exact interface path and labels have not been established for every region, so follow the labels in your client rather than relying on a presumed menu sequence.
- Confirm that your account has access to the market you intend to use.
- Find the item and verify that it is listed in the intended market. Check the listed price and quantity before selecting a purchase.
- Confirm that you have enough eligible Kina for the displayed total and review any fee shown by the client.
- Review the final confirmation carefully before completing the purchase.
What currency does the market use?
NCSoft’s official currency notice identifies Kina as the currency for Auction House and World Auction House purchases. It distinguishes Kina from bound Kina, so do not assume bound Kina can be used to buy a market listing. The same notice says listing and settlement fees consume bound Kina first, then Kina. - Check in the live client whether the item is eligible for listing in the selected market.
- Review the current listing fee, settlement fee, and any duration or other terms displayed before you confirm.
- Choose the market shown in the client and set the listing details using its current controls.
- Confirm the listing only after checking the total costs and how proceeds will be settled.
NCSoft’s currency notice confirms the fee-payment order—bound Kina first, then Kina—but does not establish a current universal percentage. Listing limits, duration, eligible items, and settlement details should be treated as live-client or region-specific checks rather than assumed rules.

Auction House vs. World Auction House
NCSoft’s notices confirm that both market types exist, but they do not fully document their current differences. The available official information does not establish a universal comparison of access requirements, eligible inventory, market scope, or settlement restrictions.

Does using the Auction House require membership?
NCSoft’s membership notice for Korea describes market access as dependent on the account’s membership-benefit state, with buying and selling permissions differing before and after the named benefit. That notice is Korea-specific and does not establish the same requirements for Global or every other region.
