Open the Collection Journal to follow campaign discoveries, including progress in Horizon Festival and Discover Japan. Use the separate My Forza page for achievements. For the Series 6 Autumn Festival Playlist challenge Egging You On, smash the required Egg Sandwiches around the 7-Eleven Evolving World; the listed payout is Playlist progress and a Forza Link phrase.
The Journal, not the achievement screen, is the useful starting point for collectible progress. If you want the fastest route through Egging You On, use the active Festival Playlist map or its guide image to identify the sandwich clusters, then consider the community-reported Horizon Solo and Rewind method when a single location is easier than a full search.
Which menu tracks what in Forza Horizon 6?
Forza Horizon 6 separates several kinds of progress. Choosing the wrong screen can make a completed discovery look missing, or make an achievement objective appear unrelated to the campaign.

1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesCollection Journal: campaign and Discover Japan progress
The Collection Journal is the main record for campaign progression across both Horizon Festival and Discover Japan. Playground Games describes it as the place where players track that campaign progress and redeem activity rewards such as cars, credits and cosmetic items. Discoveries made while exploring feed this broader record, so it is the first menu to check after collecting an item or finishing an exploration objective.
#1 Best Overall
- DISCOVER JAPAN — Explore Horizon’s largest map ever, set in Japan and packed with dramatic verticality, diverse biomes, and spectacular open‑road driving routes.
- CRUISE ICONIC LOCATIONS — Drive through Tokyo’s city streets, suburbs, docks, and industrial districts in the most expansive urban environment in Horizon history.
- DRIVE 550+ REAL‑WORLD CARS — Collect and customize over 550 licensed vehicles with body kits, Forza Aero, window liveries, and enhanced steering animations.
- BUILD YOUR ESTATE — Purchase beautiful homes across Japan and customize garages to showcase your growing car collection as you rise through the Horizon Festival.
- JOIN THE HORIZON COMMUNITY — Race, cruise, and compete with friends in Time Attack Circuits, Drag Meets, Car Meets, and Horizon multiplayer modes, including Spec Racing Championships.
Open the game’s progression menus and select Collection Journal. The exact controller button or keyboard shortcut can differ by platform and interface layout, so use the label shown in your current build rather than relying on a remembered button prompt. Once inside, move through the Discover Japan and campaign sections to find the category connected to the activity you completed. A category total is more useful than a general achievement percentage because it identifies which progression system received the discovery.
My Forza: achievements are tracked separately
Achievements have their own tracking surface on the My Forza page. If an Xbox, PC or platform achievement is the item you are checking, go there instead of expecting the Collection Journal to show an achievement percentage. The two screens can both change after the same drive, but they answer different questions: the Journal records in-game campaign and discovery progress, while My Forza records achievements.
How the three progression pathways fit together
Playground Games presents Wristbands, Stamps and Horizon Play as three progression pathways. Its description is intentionally broad: players can progress by racing, exploring or competing in multiplayer modes. These pathways are related to the overall campaign, but they are not interchangeable counters.
Wristbands advance the Horizon Festival campaign
The Horizon Festival campaign uses seven Festival Wristbands. They represent advancement through that festival path, rather than a count of every collectible discovered in Japan. If your goal is to move the festival campaign forward, check the Wristband requirements; a Journal discovery by itself does not automatically mean a Wristband has been earned.

Stamps represent exploration milestones
Stamps are the exploration-oriented progression markers. Earning them can unlock Barn Find rumors and homes. A collectible run may therefore affect your Stamp progress even when the immediate item is not shown as a Wristband task. Look for the Stamp section in the Collection Journal when you are auditing exploration rather than festival advancement.
Horizon Play covers the activity path
Horizon Play is the third pathway named by Playground Games. It accommodates players who prefer activity and multiplayer competition. Treat its progress as a separate path: a Horizon Play result should not be expected to appear as a Stamp total or as an achievement entry.
“Wristbands, Stamps and Horizon Play. Whether you prefer to race, explore or compete in multiplayer modes, Forza Horizon 6 has a progression path for you.”

Step-by-step: audit your collectible progress
- Open the progression interface. From the game’s main navigation, choose the menu that exposes campaign and exploration progress.
- Select Collection Journal. Do not start in My Forza unless you are checking an achievement.
- Choose the relevant campaign or Discover Japan section. The Journal contains progress across Horizon Festival and Discover Japan, so a general total may not identify the exact activity you want.
- Read the category state before driving again. Note whether the entry is incomplete, complete, or awaiting a reward redemption. This prevents you from repeating a route that already counted.
- Redeem any available activity reward. The official campaign explanation identifies the Collection Journal as the place for rewards that can include cars, credits and cosmetic items.
- Use My Forza only for achievement verification. If the in-game category moved but an achievement did not, the two tracking systems are behaving independently rather than necessarily indicating lost collectible progress.
Keep the Journal open long enough to identify the correct category before beginning a search. Collectible discovery, Stamp advancement, Wristband advancement and achievement completion can overlap during one session, but they are not the same checklist.

Egging You On: requirements and listed rewards
The Series 6 Autumn Festival Playlist guide tied to this objective gives Egging You On a precise location and count. The challenge is not a general egg hunt across the entire map: the sandwiches must be smashed near the named 7-Eleven Evolving World area.
| Playlist item | What the guide specifies |
|---|---|
| Objective | Smash 20 Egg Sandwiches |
| Location qualifier | Near the 7-Eleven Evolving World |
| Completion reward | 3 Playlist Points |
| Forza Link reward | “Nothin but net!” |
The points and Forza Link phrase are separate pieces of the listed payout. Finishing the smash requirement is what triggers the challenge completion; the collectible itself should not be confused with a Journal reward that must be redeemed before the Playlist objective can complete.
Finding the Egg Sandwich clusters
No complete text coordinate list for all 20 sandwiches is available in the cited material. Exact positions are therefore best obtained from the active Festival Playlist map or from the guide image accompanying the objective. Use the map that matches the current Series 6 Autumn rotation, because a static route can become misleading after a Playlist change or game patch.

Read the map before you drive
- Confirm the active Playlist season. Make sure the map or guide image is for the same Autumn Playlist rotation as the challenge displayed in your game.
- Identify the 7-Eleven Evolving World landmark. The location qualifier matters; sandwiches found elsewhere may not advance this particular objective.
- Mark the visible clusters. Plan a short loop through the groups shown around the landmark rather than searching the entire map at random.
- Watch the counter after each impact. A visible smash and a registered challenge increment are not necessarily identical, so confirm that the objective counter changes while you work.
- Leave room for a second pass. If one item does not register, a planned return route is safer than assuming the first sweep was complete.
Normal exploration method
The straightforward method is to drive through the mapped clusters in a normal session and destroy each sandwich once. This keeps online-session continuity and avoids relying on a behavior that the developers have not documented as a guaranteed respawn rule.

- BUILD YOUR ESTATE — Purchase beautiful homes across Japan and customize garages to showcase your growing car collection as you rise through the Horizon Festival.
- Enter the area around 7-Eleven Evolving World in your usual online session.
- Follow the current map or guide image to the first cluster.
- Use the vehicle to make clear contact with each Egg Sandwich rather than brushing past it.
- Pause briefly after a smash and check the Playlist counter.
- Continue to the next marked cluster until the objective registers completion.
This route is the best choice when you want to keep playing with other drivers, when the counter is updating reliably, or when you do not want to test a community workaround.
Horizon Solo and Rewind: the reported single-location workaround
A community guide reports that entering Horizon Solo and using Rewind immediately after smashing a sandwich can make that collectible respawn. Repeating the same location may reduce driving time, but this is player-reported behavior, not an official guarantee. It can also behave differently after a patch or Playlist rotation.
How to try the workaround
- Switch to Horizon Solo. Make the change before beginning the repeat loop so the session state is consistent.
- Drive to a mapped sandwich cluster. Use the active map or guide image to choose a location inside the 7-Eleven Evolving World area.
- Smash one sandwich cleanly. Check that the challenge counter advances before attempting the loop.
- Use Rewind. Rewind to a point before the impact, following the game’s normal Rewind control for your platform.
- Drive forward again. If the reported behavior is present in your session, the sandwich can appear again and count on the next impact.
- Repeat while the counter advances. Stop if the item no longer respawns or if the objective stops registering.
- Move to another mapped cluster if necessary. A single location is not guaranteed to work for every player or every patch.
- Return to normal online play when the objective fails to update. The community guidance specifically recommends leaving the workaround session if progress is not being recorded.
Do not treat a rewind animation as proof that a sandwich was counted. The useful test is the Playlist counter. If the counter remains unchanged, abandon the loop and use the normal exploration route or another marked cluster.
Choosing between the two completion methods
| Consideration | Normal exploration | Horizon Solo and Rewind |
|---|---|---|
| Speed | Usually requires visiting multiple mapped clusters, so driving time depends on their spread. | Can be faster when one location repeatedly respawns the item. |
| Session continuity | Keeps you in your ordinary online session. | Uses a Solo session and may require returning online if the counter stops updating. |
| Evidence status | Uses the ordinary smash-and-count behavior described by the objective. | Community-reported workaround; no guaranteed respawn rule is established. |
| Best use | Reliable map-following, multiplayer continuity and troubleshooting. | Time-saving repetition after confirming that the counter advances. |
| Main risk | A missed cluster or out-of-date map can prolong the search. | The sandwich may not respawn, or progress may fail to register. |
Start with the normal route if you are unsure whether the challenge is active or whether a location qualifies. Test the Solo/Rewind loop only after one successful registered smash; that gives you a visible baseline for deciding whether repetition is working.

How to verify the reward
When the required smash count is registered, the Series 6 Autumn listing reports 3 Playlist Points for completion and the Forza Link phrase “Nothin but net!”. Check the Festival Playlist entry first to confirm that the challenge changed to its completed state. If the point total has not moved, the objective has not fully registered even if several sandwiches disappeared.
The Collection Journal remains relevant to the wider discovery system, but it is not a substitute for checking the Playlist challenge. Use the Journal for campaign and Discover Japan progress, and use the Playlist entry for Egging You On completion. If you are checking an achievement associated with the session, use My Forza separately.
Troubleshooting when progress does not count
The sandwich disappeared but the counter did not move
- Check that the challenge is the active Series 6 Autumn Egging You On objective.
- Confirm that you are working near the 7-Eleven Evolving World area shown by the current map.
- Wait for the counter to refresh before moving to the next cluster.
- If you are in Solo/Rewind, return to normal online play as the community guide advises when the objective fails to update.
The Solo/Rewind loop stopped respawning the item
- Stop repeating the same impact; the behavior is not guaranteed.
- Use another sandwich cluster from the active map.
- Switch back to normal exploration rather than assuming the missing respawn means the objective is broken.
Your map does not match the game
- Check that the guide image or map belongs to the current Festival Playlist rotation.
- Allow for changes caused by a patch or seasonal rotation.
- Use the map as location guidance, not as a permanent coordinate database; no official source in the cited material publishes a complete coordinate list.
The Journal and My Forza show different results
That difference can be expected. The Collection Journal records campaign and Discover Japan progression, while My Forza tracks achievements. Compare each result with the objective you actually intended to verify instead of treating one surface as a universal progress meter.
How Egging You On contributes to broader progression
Egg Sandwiches are a Festival Playlist activity, while collectible discoveries contribute to the broader Collection Journal and Discover Japan progression. Completing the Playlist challenge can therefore happen alongside exploration without replacing the Journal’s campaign records.
Stamps are the relevant exploration milestone when your objective is Barn Find rumors or homes. Wristbands are the separate seven-part Festival campaign path. Horizon Play is the third pathway for players who prefer activity and multiplayer competition. Keeping those roles distinct makes it easier to diagnose why a successful smash changed one counter but not another.
Completion checklist
- Open Collection Journal when you need campaign or Discover Japan discovery progress.
- Open My Forza when you need achievement progress.
- Confirm that Egging You On is the active Series 6 Autumn Playlist objective.
- Use the current map or guide image for the 7-Eleven Evolving World sandwich clusters.
- Follow the normal route if you want online-session continuity.
- Test Horizon Solo and Rewind only as a player-reported workaround, and verify every repeat with the Playlist counter.
- Return to normal online play if the workaround stops updating the objective.
- Confirm the completed Playlist state before expecting the listed points and Forza Link reward.
- Recheck map currency after a Playlist rotation or patch.
What is and is not guaranteed
The objective count, location qualifier and listed rewards come from the Series 6 Autumn Festival Playlist guide. The cited material does not establish a complete official coordinate list for all sandwiches or a guaranteed respawn rule. Exact positions and collectible behavior can change with Playlist rotations and patches, so the active in-game challenge and a current map should take precedence over an older route.
