Control Resonant has 67 collectible locations across eight types, according to two guides published in September and October 2026. The guides report that collectibles remain available after the story, so the most efficient approach is to finish the campaign, unlock the traversal abilities, then sweep the regions in sequence. Keep the 32 Fast Travel Doors separate: they are useful for moving around, but they are not part of the 67 collectibles.
How many collectibles are in Control Resonant?
The September 28, 2026 PowerPyx guide and an October 6, 2026 Control Resonant Guide report the same total: 67 locations across eight collectible types. These are guide-reported counts, not an independently tested tally. The October guide says its figures and rules reflect launch-week player guides for retail patch 1.4.1; later updates could change details.

The guides identify the completion links above; they do not establish that collecting every type alone completes every related achievement. In particular, finding the seven FBC Taskboards is not the same as completing the 20 tasks required for Diligent Consultant. PowerPyx’s collectible guide provides the counts and trophy context.

Both guides say the collectibles remain available after the story in free roam, so their recommended plan is a post-credits cleanup rather than restarting or forcing every detour during the first visit. This is guidance reported by third-party guides, not an official Remedy checklist. PowerPyx specifically recommends returning with traversal abilities because some locations cannot be reached early.

When should you collect everything?
Best option: finish the story, then sweep
Wait until you have the traversal kit, then revisit the regions. The guides list several relevant unlocks: Shift (wall traversal) comes from Jesse Sightings: The Incursion Fault; Reach (grappling points) comes from Jesse Sightings: The Subway Fault; Ground Slam, which breaks Ability Barriers, follows defeating the West Incursion Zone Resonant; and Ignite/Inferno, which burns webs, follows defeating the Central Zone Resonant. The PowerPyx guide also says to complete Pope’s Research to fully explore The Unknown.
Collecting during the story
You can pick up accessible items as you encounter them, but the guides’ ability-gate advice means an early sweep can leave inaccessible locations behind and require revisits. If you prefer story-first play, note what you find and leave the locked or unreachable areas for cleanup.
What is the most efficient route?
Use a region-by-region sweep rather than collecting one item type across the whole map. PowerPyx says fast travel requires interacting with a Fast Travel Door; you cannot teleport directly from anywhere. Start at a door, clear the current region, then travel to the next one. The guides suggest this order:

PowerPyx’s Control Resonant guide hub links to regional collectible guides. Its overview snippets list 9 locations in Downtown, 9 in Central, 8 in West Incursion Zone, 9 in Evacuation Zone, 8 in The Park, 6 in Underpass, and 9 in The Unknown. Those regional figures total 58, not 67, so they do not reconcile with the eight-type total and should not be treated as a complete partition of all collectibles. Use the linked regional pages for item-level directions; the overview figures alone do not supply exact locations or routes.
What does the in-game tracker show?
The October guide reports that the Case Files tracker displays a completion percentage by district rather than an item-by-item checklist. Because this detail comes from a secondary guide rather than official documentation, confirm it in your game before relying on it. Keeping a personal count by category and region can help identify what remains.

PowerPyx distinguishes 32 Fast Travel Door locations from collectibles. Doors are travel points, not additional items in the 67-location total. The distinction matters when using a guide or tallying progress.

The overview information establishes counts, progression advice and a suggested regional order, but not the exact route to each object. For individual directions, use the item-level regional walkthroughs linked from PowerPyx’s guide hub.
