If Binance Ai Pro is placing trades, open its Settings and switch off the relevant trading permissions. That is Binance’s documented way to stop Ai Pro trading during a strategy. It does not, by itself, cancel every order or close every position, so inspect the AI Account separately. If you disconnect the AI Account link instead, Binance says it immediately cancels all open orders and closes Spot, Futures, Cross Margin, and Isolated Margin positions—a much more destructive action.
The correct cancellation path depends on what you are using: Binance Ai Pro, a normal Spot order, or a trading bot. Follow the matching procedure below before clicking a cancellation control.
Identify which Binance feature is trading
The current official product name for Binance’s AI service is Binance Ai Pro. Its FAQ says it can run Spot, Futures, and Margin strategies and manage open positions. Ai Pro creates a dedicated virtual AI Account rather than attaching to your ordinary account; that account is isolated from the main account and cannot withdraw to an external address. Read the Binance Ai Pro FAQ if the labels in your account differ.
Many people use “Binance AI trading” to mean something else. A pending Spot limit order, a Spot DCA bot, or another bot has a different cancellation flow and different consequences. Before acting, look at the order or strategy name and determine whether it is in Ai Pro, regular Spot trading, or a bot’s Running list.

- Ai Pro: use Ai Pro permissions, the AI Account view, or Sub Account Management.
- Regular Spot order: use Trade → Spot → Open Orders in the app or the Open Orders list on the website.
- Spot DCA or another running bot: check the bot first; cancelling one linked order can terminate the entire bot.
Can I stop Binance Ai Pro from trading mid-strategy?
Yes. Binance’s FAQ answers this question directly: “Yes. You can toggle trading permissions off at any time from the settings.” Use this control when you want to prevent further AI-initiated trades while deciding what to do with orders and positions that already exist.
- Open Binance Ai Pro in the Binance app or website.
- Open Settings.
- Turn off the permission that could create the activity you want to stop. The documented controls cover Futures Trading, Spot and Margin Trading, and Margin Loan, Repay and Transfer.
- Confirm that each relevant toggle now shows as disabled, then review which permissions, if any, remain active.
- Open the AI Account’s orders and positions and deal with them separately. Permission changes are a control on future activity, not a documented bulk-cancellation command.
Some jurisdictions can lock permissions off or restrict which Ai Pro features are available. If a toggle is missing or cannot be changed, that may be an account or compliance restriction rather than an app error. Binance says Ai Pro availability and permissions vary by platform and jurisdiction, and its FAQ can change without notice.
How to check the AI Account’s positions and order history
After switching permissions off, verify the account itself. Binance says you can ask Ai Pro to display the AI Account’s orders and positions or inspect them manually through Sub Account Management.

- If you use the account-management route, open Sub Account Management and select the AI Account rather than your main trading account.
- Review open orders by product: Spot, Futures, Cross Margin, and Isolated Margin. Record order IDs, symbols, quantities, and whether an order is linked to a strategy or bot.
- Review every open position, including its side and size. A position can remain after new trading permissions are disabled.
- Refresh the order list and confirm the status after any cancellation. Use order history when you need to distinguish an open order from one that was filled, cancelled, or closed.
This separate check matters because turning off a permission does not mean that Binance has cancelled all existing orders or liquidated positions. Treat the AI Account as a separate operating account until its order and position lists are clear.
Deactivation and disconnecting the AI Account are different

How do I deactivate Binance Ai Pro?
Deactivation is the subscription or service control, not the same thing as disconnecting the AI Account. Open the Ai Pro settings page and choose the deactivation option shown for your account.
If you are within seven days of the first payment
Binance says deactivation during the first seven days immediately returns the service to Binance Ai without AI trading capabilities. Still inspect the AI Account before leaving the page, because the FAQ does not describe this action as a universal cancellation of every existing order or position.

Binance says Ai Pro remains operational until the current billing period ends. At the end of that period, active strategies are terminated, open positions are closed, and the AI API key is deleted. If you need Ai Pro to stop managing the AI Account before the paid period expires, Binance directs you to delete the AI Account API key in settings rather than relying on deactivation alone.
Do not describe this as an instant emergency stop. During the remaining paid period, verify the account manually and use the permission or API-key control that matches the urgency of your situation.
What happens if I disconnect my AI Account link?
Disconnecting is the immediate, broadest control documented for Ai Pro. Binance says it deletes the AI Account API key, cancels all open orders, and closes positions across Spot, Futures, Cross Margin, and Isolated Margin.

Because closing a position can realize a gain or loss, do not use disconnect merely to hide an order list or stop a single strategy. First record the positions and decide whether you intend to close them. Binance says remaining funds may be transferred back through Sub Account Management → Asset Management. Confirm the destination and balances after the transfer.
Disconnecting also removes the link that lets Ai Pro manage the AI Account. If your goal is only to prevent new trades while keeping positions open, turn off the relevant permissions and manage orders individually instead.
How do I cancel all pending regular Spot orders?
The following procedure is for ordinary Binance Spot orders, not for Futures, Margin, Ai Pro, or every bot workflow. Binance’s Spot instructions are in its guide to market and limit orders.
In the Binance app
- Open Trade.
- Select Spot.
- Open Open Orders.
- Tap Cancel beside an individual pending order, or choose Cancel All to cancel the pending Spot orders shown in that view.
- Refresh the list. The order should no longer appear as open; check order history if you need confirmation of its final status.
On the Binance website
- Open the Spot trading screen and locate Open Orders.
- Find the order you want to stop.
- Click the bin icon beside that order.
- Refresh the page and verify that it is no longer listed as open.
Use the product-specific order screen. A Spot Cancel All action should not be presented as a universal switch for Futures positions, Margin liabilities, Ai Pro orders, or bot-managed orders.
Why bot-linked orders need extra care
A bot can recreate or manage orders after you cancel one. Binance’s January 2026 announcement warns: “Cancellation of any order that is part of a running trading bot will result in the closure of the entire trading bot.” Treat that as a warning about bot-linked orders, not as proof that every bot has identical controls in every screen.

Spot DCA bots
Binance’s Spot DCA guide says Spot DCA bots cannot be edited or paused. They can be ended from the Running tab.
Ending a Spot DCA bot closes and sells its open-order base coins automatically at market. That is materially different from merely preventing another AI instruction: a market sale can execute at the prices available when the bot ends.
When manually cancelling a Spot DCA order, Binance says you can choose to retain the base asset. If preserving the coin matters, inspect the bot’s cancellation choices instead of ending the bot blindly.
Before cancelling a bot order
- Open the bot’s Running view and identify every order associated with the strategy.
- Read the confirmation text for whether the action ends the entire bot.
- Check whether ending the bot sells base coins at market.
- Save the bot and order details before confirming, especially if you may need to reconcile fills or balances later.
What the January 2026 automatic-cancellation notice did—and did not—cover
Binance published a specific maintenance notice on January 14, 2026, updated January 16, about unfilled Spot and Margin orders placed before 2024-01-01 00:00 UTC. The announced automatic cancellation time was 2026-01-21 07:00 UTC. The notice said completed trades would not be affected.
That was a dated event with a narrow product and order-date scope. It is not a current general safety control that cancels old Ai Pro orders, every open order, or every bot order automatically. The original notice is available at Binance’s announcement.

Troubleshooting when an order will not stop
The Ai Pro toggle is unavailable
Check whether the account or jurisdiction restricts that permission. Binance says compliance rules can lock permissions off and that Ai Pro availability varies by platform and jurisdiction. Use the controls that are actually available in the account rather than assuming another region’s labels apply.
Ai Pro still shows open orders after permissions are disabled
This is consistent with the documented distinction between stopping additional permissioned activity and cancelling existing orders. Open the AI Account through Ai Pro or Sub Account Management and cancel or close the specific items using their product controls.
The AI assistant cannot cancel an order
Binance says Ai Pro can run out of credits. When that happens, AI strategies may be limited and the assistant may be unable to cancel orders or close positions. Use the Binance app or website manually, select the AI Account, and inspect its orders and positions instead of waiting for the assistant.

Check whether the order belonged to a running bot. Binance’s warning says cancelling a linked order can close the entire bot. For Spot DCA, review whether the action sold open-order base coins at market and whether the manual-cancellation flow offered a choice to retain the base asset.
You are unsure whether a position was closed
Refresh the AI Account’s position view, then compare it with order history and balances in Sub Account Management. Do not rely on a disappeared order alone: a filled order, a cancelled order, and a position-closing transaction produce different final states.
A practical decision guide
- Stop new Ai Pro trades but keep current positions open: disable the relevant Ai Pro trading permissions, then inspect and manage the AI Account manually.
- Stop Ai Pro from managing the AI Account during a paid period: deactivate if appropriate and delete the AI Account API key as Binance directs for the interim period.
- Cancel everything and close all Ai Pro-managed exposure immediately: disconnect the AI Account link, understanding that Binance says this cancels all open orders and closes Spot, Futures, Cross Margin, and Isolated Margin positions.
- Cancel a normal pending Spot order: use Trade → Spot → Open Orders and cancel one order or use Cancel All in the app.
- Stop a bot: open its bot controls first; a linked-order cancellation can terminate the bot, and ending a Spot DCA bot can sell base coins at market.
Binance’s product labels and availability can change. If the account shows a different control, use the current on-screen description and verify the final order, position, and balance state before closing the session.
