For a PvE-focused character, prioritize offensive special nodes that match your goal, then active-skill nodes for skills you use often, followed by useful passives and ordinary stats. Daevanion boards are connected paths: reaching a reward also means paying for the nodes along the route. Treat current global costs, layouts, and crystal totals as client-specific until you confirm them in game; recent guides differ on regional data.
How does the Daevanion board work?
The board is a connected-node progression system. Nodes can grant stats, skill levels, or special effects, and you need to follow connected paths to reach deeper nodes. The cost of a target therefore includes its route prerequisites, not just the target itself. Daeva Compass describes figures in its guide as Asian-client data that need global confirmation, while Aion 2 Maps warns that global and Asian layouts differ. Recent unofficial guides describe four PvE boards—Nezekan, Zikel, Vaizel, and Triniel—using Daevanion Crystals, and a separate PvP board, Azphel, using Battle Crystals. One guide lists unlock levels of 12, 20, 30, 40, and 45, respectively. These are guide-reported global-client details, not confirmed official specifications; check the board and unlock requirement shown in your current client. Aion2 Guide provides this reported overview at its Daevanion boards guide, and Corpus discusses board priorities at its AION 2 Daevanion guide.

How do you get Daevanion Crystals?
Recent guide and datamine-based summaries identify leveling, regional quests, and sealed dungeons as sources of Daevanion Crystals. One guide also reports a Nightmare shop source. The available guides do not establish dependable current global totals, shop limits, or every eligibility condition, so use the reward and shop listings in your client to check what is currently available to your character. These are source categories, not a guaranteed crystal total.

What should you spend Daevanion Crystals on first?
Use this order as a practical starting point for PvE, not as a universal optimum. The guides offer priority advice rather than controlled comparisons of in-game performance.

- Choose the goal and check the currency. Confirm which board you are opening and what currency it uses. The guides describe Daevanion Crystals for PvE boards and separate Battle Crystals for Azphel, the PvP board.
- Route toward an offensive special node. Favor an effect that fits your current goal rather than taking a node simply because it is nearby. Compare the benefit with the full cost of the connected path.
- Take active-skill nodes for your build. Prioritize skills you use frequently and that matter to your role or build; a skill-level increase is less useful if the skill is rarely part of your play.
- Consider relevant passives. Choose passive nodes that support the same build priorities before spending on passives with little practical relevance.
- Use ordinary stat nodes selectively. Take them when the stats suit your character or when they are required to reach a chosen reward.
- Check the full route and current costs before committing. Include every prerequisite node in your budget. The guides do not establish a definitive current global refund policy, so inspect the current client’s cost and refund information rather than assuming a purchase can be undone.
Recent guides generally recommend offensive special nodes and build-relevant active skills ahead of less relevant choices. Corpus outlines that order in its priority guide; AION 2 Guide also discusses active-skill levels and attack-bonus tiles in its board guide. The right path can change with PvP goals, class, and build.
How should you compare two possible routes?
- Content goal: Decide whether the character is being built for PvE or PvP, and confirm the board’s currency.
- Benefit type: Weigh an offensive special effect against a skill-level gain for a frequently used ability.
- Build fit: Prefer nodes that support the class and skills you actually use.
- Total path cost: Count the connecting nodes needed to reach the reward, not only the reward node.
The guides support these as useful decision factors, but they do not provide controlled tests proving one route performs best across classes or builds.

Why shouldn’t you copy an Asian board route?
Board geometry and reported figures are not consistent across regional versions in the guides. Daeva Compass explicitly labels its figures as Asian-client data; Aion 2 Maps says global and Asian layouts differ; and AION 2 Guide notes that global data is unannounced and regional sources conflict. An image or exact crystal total from an Asian layout may therefore misstate the path or cost in your client. Use any external route as an idea, then verify adjacency, node effects, currency, and costs on your own board.
