To add a wallet tracker to an iPhone, first verify that the exact tracker model supports Apple Find My. Put the tracker into pairing or discoverable mode using its manufacturer’s instructions, then open Find My and choose Items → Add → Add Other Item. Tap Connect, name the tracker, and register it to your Apple Account.
A generic Bluetooth tracker, or an Android-only version of a product, may not appear in Find My. The model-specific compatibility check is the most important step.
What you need before pairing
Find My accessory support is model-specific. A tracker can use Bluetooth and still be incompatible with Apple’s Find My network, so do not rely on the product family name, the shape of the card, or a general “works with smartphones” statement. Check the package or the manufacturer’s page for the exact variant and an explicit Apple Find My claim.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems- An iPhone with the Find My app and an Apple Account.
- The wallet tracker charged or activated according to its maker’s instructions.
- Bluetooth enabled on the iPhone.
- Internet access during initial setup.
- The tracker close to the iPhone while it is being discovered.
If the product has separate Apple and Android editions, select the Apple-compatible edition. If the exact model does not support Find My, it cannot be added through the third-party-item flow described below.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
How to add a third-party wallet tracker to Find My
- Confirm compatibility. Read the model number on the tracker or packaging and verify that this exact model supports Apple Find My. If the accessory will not appear during setup, Apple’s guidance is to contact the manufacturer and confirm Find My support.
- Make the tracker discoverable. Follow the maker’s activation, button-press, charging, or pairing instructions. Keep the card next to the iPhone. Some products need a full charge or a first-time wake-up before they can be found.
- Open Find My. Launch the built-in Find My app and tap Items.
- Start adding an item. Tap the add control, then choose Add Other Item. Apple’s wording can vary slightly by iOS version and accessory type, so follow the closest matching onscreen option.
- Connect the accessory. When the tracker appears, tap Connect. If more than one nearby item is listed, use the model or identifier supplied by the manufacturer to select the correct one.
- Name it. Enter a practical name such as “Everyday wallet” or “Travel wallet.” Choose an emoji if Find My offers one; a recognizable name helps when several items are listed.
- Register it to your Apple Account. Continue through the prompts to complete registration. This account association is what lets the item appear in your Find My list and prevents another person from claiming it while it remains linked to you.
- Verify the result. Return to Items and confirm that the wallet tracker is listed. Open its item page and check the available actions. Features such as playing a sound depend on the accessory model.
What the Find My item page can and cannot do
After registration, the tracker is managed from the Items tab rather than the Devices tab used for Apple hardware. Find My can display the accessory’s reported location through the Find My network, subject to the tracker’s hardware, battery state, and nearby participating devices. The accessory may expose additional controls, such as a sound command, only when that model supports them.
Find My is not a guarantee of continuous, real-time positioning. A card with a depleted battery, a disabled radio, or no opportunity to communicate with nearby devices cannot report a new location. Treat the map as the latest location the network could obtain, not as proof that the wallet is currently at that exact point.
Wallet cards that support more than one network
Some slim cards can be configured for either Apple Find My or Google Find Hub. A card cannot normally remain connected to both networks at once. The network choice is made during the manufacturer’s setup process, before the card is added to the chosen network.
Outdated Drivers Are Slowing You Down

A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11This matters if your household uses both iPhone and Android devices. A card configured for Google Find Hub will not follow the Apple Find My setup path until it is changed according to the maker’s instructions. Likewise, moving it to Apple Find My does not leave it simultaneously available on Google’s network. Read the maker’s sequence carefully before installing a companion app or completing account registration.
Example: Pebblebee Card 5
Pebblebee describes Card 5 as a wallet-sized tracker that works with Apple Find My on iPhone or Google Find Hub on Android. Its setup guidance calls for a full charge, Bluetooth enabled on the phone, internet access, and the card kept close to the phone. Choose the tracking network first, then follow the maker’s instructions for adding its companion app if one is required. Installing or pairing in the wrong order can leave the card configured for a different network.
The manufacturer publishes these Card 5 specifications:
| Specification | Published detail | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| Battery life | Up to 18 months per charge | Manufacturer claim for Card 5; the source does not state a publication year. Actual life varies with use and conditions. |
| Charging | Wireless charging | Use a compatible wireless charger as directed by the maker. |
| Thickness | 0.07 inch | A published physical dimension; compare it with the number of cards your wallet can hold. |
| Water resistance | IP68 | Manufacturer rating for Card 5; follow its limitations and care instructions. |
| Recovery identification | Unique QR code on the device | Intended to help with recovery according to the manufacturer’s documentation. |
Those figures describe Card 5 only. They are not general specifications for all Find My wallet trackers, and they have not been independently tested here. When comparing cards, use the exact model’s published data rather than assuming that a similarly shaped card has the same battery, thickness, charging, or water-resistance rating.
How to choose a wallet tracker before you buy
Compatibility should come before price or appearance. A card that cannot join Apple Find My will not follow the setup path in this guide.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
| Decision point | Questions to ask | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Network | Does the exact model explicitly support Apple Find My? | Bluetooth compatibility alone is insufficient. |
| Wallet fit | What is the card’s thickness, and will it fit comfortably with your payment cards? | Even a working tracker can make a wallet too bulky. |
| Battery design | Is it rechargeable, replaceable, or non-replaceable? What charging method is required? | It determines maintenance and what happens when the battery is low. |
| Battery claim | What life does the manufacturer state for this model, and under what qualification? | Published “up to” figures are not guaranteed real-world results. |
| Find My features | Does the model support the actions you need, such as playing a sound? | Available controls vary by accessory. |
| Companion app | Is a maker app needed, and does the maker specify an order for installing or pairing it? | Multi-network cards may need to be configured before the app is added. |
Also consider how the card will be charged in practice. A rechargeable card may be thinner or easier to maintain than a replaceable-battery design, but it must be removed and charged periodically. Check the manufacturer’s stated charging method before buying; a card that requires a particular wireless charger may not fit your routine.
If the tracker does not appear
Check the model and network
Read the exact model identifier again. Product families often contain separate Apple and Android versions. For a card that supports both Apple Find My and Google Find Hub, confirm that you selected Apple Find My before beginning the network-registration step. If the model is not advertised as Find My-compatible, the failure is expected rather than an iPhone fault.
Repeat the discoverability step
Put the tracker back into the pairing or activation state specified by its maker. A device that was previously paired, left asleep, or shipped with a protective battery tab may not broadcast until this step is repeated. Keep it close to the iPhone while Find My is scanning. If the maker specifies a button press, a full charge, or a particular light or sound, complete that step exactly rather than relying on ordinary Bluetooth settings.
Check basic phone conditions
- Turn on Bluetooth.
- Give the iPhone an active internet connection.
- Keep the tracker beside the phone rather than in another room or inside a crowded bag.
- Ensure the tracker has charge and is powered on.
Look for an existing Apple Account association
If Find My reports that the item belongs to another person, the previous owner must remove it from their Apple Account first. You cannot complete a new registration while the old account association remains. Ask the former owner to remove the accessory through their Find My item settings, then restart your setup.
Contact the manufacturer when support is uncertain
Apple directs users to the accessory manufacturer when an item will not add, specifically to confirm whether the product supports Find My. Provide the exact model and any identifier shown in the maker’s app or on the packaging. This avoids treating an unsupported tracker as a defective one.
Apple’s MagSafe wallet is a different setup
Do not use Add Other Item for every wallet accessory. Apple’s iPhone Wallet with MagSafe can be added to Find My only when it is a version with Find My support, and it follows a dedicated route.
Adding it when you first attach it
- Attach the supported wallet to the back of the iPhone.
- Wait for the iPhone’s setup prompt.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to add the wallet to Find My.
Adding it later
- Attach the supported wallet to the iPhone.
- Open Find My and tap Items.
- Tap the add control and choose Add MagSafe Accessory.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to finish registration.
A conventional third-party tracker card and an Apple MagSafe wallet are therefore two different item types in Find My: use Add Other Item for the former and Add MagSafe Accessory for the latter.

Moving a tracker to another iPhone or owner
The Find My registration follows the Apple Account, not merely the phone that performed the setup. If you sell, give away, or return a tracker, remove it from your Find My items before the next person tries to pair it. Otherwise, the new owner can encounter an account-association warning and be unable to register the accessory.

If you are the new owner and the item is still linked to someone else, the previous account holder must complete the removal. Resetting Bluetooth, reinstalling Find My, or changing iPhone settings does not replace that account-level removal.
Privacy and unwanted-tracking safety
Use a Find My accessory only with belongings you are entitled to track. Apple warns that Find My accessories should not be used to track people or property that does not belong to you. The network is designed to help locate an owner’s belongings, not to provide covert surveillance.
Apple also documents unwanted-tracking notifications and related steps for AirTag, Find My network accessories, and compatible Bluetooth location-tracking devices. If an unfamiliar tracker appears to be traveling with you, take the alert seriously and follow Apple’s safety instructions rather than trying to claim or pair the device.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Keeping the tracker useful in daily use
Check the battery before travel
A wallet card that has been unused for months may have little charge left. Rechargeable models need periodic charging even when the wallet is not lost. Follow the maker’s charging method and do not infer battery condition solely from the last location shown in Find My.
Keep the item name understandable
Use one name per physical tracker. “Everyday wallet” is more useful than a generic name when several items are listed. If you move the card to a different wallet, rename it so the Find My list reflects its current purpose.
Test the available action after setup
Open the item page and review the controls that the accessory exposes. If a sound control is absent, that can be a model limitation rather than a failed registration. The map and controls available for a third-party item depend on the hardware and its integration with Find My.

Why does my Bluetooth wallet tracker not show up?
Bluetooth alone does not make a tracker compatible with Find My. Confirm the exact Apple-compatible model, charge or activate it, enable Bluetooth and internet access, and keep it next to the iPhone. If it still does not appear, ask the manufacturer to confirm Find My support.

Can one wallet card work with both Apple Find My and Google Find Hub?
Some cards support either network, but not both at the same time. Choose the network during the maker’s setup process before completing registration. A card configured for the other network must be changed according to that maker’s instructions.
What should I do if the tracker is linked to another Apple Account?
The previous account holder must remove it from their Find My items. You cannot bypass that account association by resetting Bluetooth, reinstalling the app, or changing iPhone settings.
Can I add an Apple MagSafe wallet with Add Other Item?
No. A supported Apple Wallet with MagSafe uses Add MagSafe Accessory. Attach it and follow the prompt, or open Find My, tap Items, choose the add control, select Add MagSafe Accessory, and follow the instructions.
Will every Find My wallet tracker play a sound?
No. Available actions depend on the accessory’s hardware and integration with Find My. Check the item page after registration to see whether sound or other controls are offered.
Does Find My show a wallet’s live location?
It shows the latest location the tracker and the Find My network could obtain. A depleted battery, disabled radio, or lack of nearby participating devices can prevent a new report, so the map is not a guarantee of continuous real-time positioning.
Can I use a tracker to monitor another person?
No. Apple says Find My accessories should not be used to track people or property that does not belong to you. Use the tracker for belongings you are entitled to track and follow Apple’s unwanted-tracking guidance if an unfamiliar device appears to be traveling with you.
