The most reliable setup combines four layers: check the NSE Corporate Filings Event Calendar for announced dates, set an event-day reminder in a broker calendar such as Zerodha Kite, subscribe to each company’s Investor Relations (IR) email updates, and use a results dashboard such as Trendlyne for a post-publication notification. Keep SEBI and depository account alerts enabled, but treat those as trading and demat-activity warnings—not as a universal quarterly-results feed.
Which alert should you use?
No single service researched here covers every Indian company, every exchange and every delivery channel with guaranteed timing. Use the service that matches the moment at which you need to know.

For most investors, the practical combination is the NSE calendar plus an issuer email subscription, with a broker reminder for advance notice and a results dashboard as a second confirmation.
1. Build your results date list from NSE
Open the Corporate Filings Event Calendar
Start with the NSE Corporate Filings Event Calendar rather than a generic market calendar. Filter the calendar for each company you own or follow. Entries may be labelled Results, Financial Results or Results/Dividend. Each entry shows the filing date and the purpose stated by the company’s board.

Record the company name, the stated date, the event label and the exchange notice reference in your own watchlist or calendar. This creates a single list even when you follow several sectors.
Treat every date as provisional
An event-calendar date is an announced intention, not an irrevocable appointment. It can move before the result is filed. The date becomes actionable only after you check the latest exchange filing or company notice. Recheck the calendar and the issuer’s filings close to the scheduled day, especially if you plan to trade around the announcement.
What the calendar does not do
- It does not automatically send a notification to every investor who owns the stock.
- It does not guarantee that the board will meet or publish on the first date shown.
- It is not a substitute for reading the filed financial results, notes, presentation or investor call notice.
2. Add an event-day reminder in Zerodha Kite
Set the reminder
- Open Zerodha Kite on the web or in the mobile app.
- Go to the economic calendar.
- Select the relevant results event.
- Choose Remind me.
- Confirm that Kite notifications are enabled on your device and that the email address on your account can receive messages.
Zerodha documents that this reminder is delivered as a Kite push notification and an email at around 8:30 AM on the event day. The exact screen name, notification permission flow and delivery time can change as the app is updated, so verify the current label after setting it.

Use the reminder as a prompt, not proof
A broker-calendar reminder tells you that an event is scheduled. It does not prove that the company filed results at that time. If the date changes, the reminder may not be the latest source. Use it to open the exchange calendar or the company’s IR page and confirm the actual filing.
3. Subscribe to the company’s Investor Relations emails
Find the issuer’s subscription form
Open the company’s official Investor Relations page and look for labels such as Email alerts, Subscribe or Register for updates. Enter an address you monitor and complete any confirmation step. Some issuers let you choose categories; others send one stream for every IR upload.
What an issuer alert may contain
- Financial-results filings and earnings presentations
- Board-meeting or dividend notices
- Investor-call details
- Other documents uploaded to the IR section
The scope is issuer-specific. An official IndiGo filing, for example, says that investors can register their email IDs on the company website to receive alerts about uploads to its Investor Relations section at www.goindigo.in. That is evidence of an issuer-level facility, not proof that every Indian company provides the same service.

Keep issuer subscriptions maintainable
- Use a dedicated email folder or rule named “Indian results.”
- Whitelist the company’s legitimate sending domain so notices do not land in spam.
- Keep a record of which companies you subscribed to and remove addresses when you no longer need them.
- Read the privacy notice before submitting an address, particularly when a form is hosted by a third-party mailing provider.
4. Add a post-publication alert with Trendlyne
Choose a declaration window
Trendlyne’s Results dashboard offers email-alert choices for results declared today, during the last two days, or during the past week. Select the window that matches your workflow. A “today” alert is useful when you check markets daily; a wider window helps if you review your inbox less often.

The dashboard is a confirmation layer. It can tell you that a result has appeared even if an advance date moved or an issuer email was delayed. It should supplement the exchange calendar, not replace it: a post-publication alert cannot warn you that a result is due tomorrow.
5. Consider a private NSE/BSE announcement watchlist
BSE Alerts advertises watchlists for NSE and BSE announcements with Telegram, Android, browser and premium email notifications. This can be convenient when you want one watchlist across exchanges or a channel your broker does not provide.

Before relying on a private service, check its current:
- Exchange and symbol coverage
- Typical delivery delay
- Watchlist-size limits
- Free-versus-paid feature differences
- Terms of service and privacy policy
- Method for correcting missed or duplicate alerts
A premium tier was displayed at ₹799 per year on the page reviewed; pricing is volatile, so confirm the current amount before subscribing. Do not assume that a Telegram or browser notification arrives before the official exchange filing.

SEBI Investor guidance says investors can opt for free SMS and email alerts for trading or transaction activity in their trading and demat accounts. The regulator’s guidance is about account awareness: it helps you detect an order, trade, transfer or other account event.

SEBI also issued Circular SEBI/HO/MIRSD/MIRSD-PoD1/P/CIR/2024/169 on 3 December 2024 concerning SMS and email alerts to investors by stock exchanges. Keep your current mobile number and email address with your broker and depository so these messages can reach you.
These alerts do not mean that you will receive a message whenever a company announces quarterly results. A result filing can occur without creating any trading or demat activity in your account, so maintain a separate results-alert setup.

For a small personal watchlist
- List every company in the NSE event calendar.
- Subscribe to each issuer’s IR emails where available.
- Set a Kite reminder for dates you do not want to miss.
- Use the Trendlyne “today” window as a publication check.
For a larger portfolio
- Maintain one spreadsheet or calendar with the symbol, exchange, provisional date, source and last verification time.
- Use the exchange calendar as the date authority.
- Use issuer emails for the document itself.
- Use a results dashboard or a private watchlist for breadth across many symbols.
- Review changed dates and remove sold holdings from nonessential notifications.
For traders who need the earliest practical warning
Use the NSE calendar for advance notice, then verify the latest filing on the day before the event. Keep the broker push and email reminder enabled, but do not place an order solely because a reminder arrived. Wait for the official filing and read the result details relevant to your decision.

What to do when an alert is missing
The event is on the calendar but no reminder arrived
- Check that Kite notifications are enabled at both the app and operating-system levels.
- Confirm that your account email is current and that the message was not filtered into spam.
- Open the calendar and verify that you selected Remind me for the correct event.
- Check the latest exchange notice in case the date moved.
The company filed results but no issuer email arrived
- Confirm the subscription address and any double-opt-in confirmation.
- Search for the company name, “results,” “financial results” and “IR” in spam and promotions folders.
- Check whether the company sends alerts for all IR uploads or only selected categories.
- Use the exchange filing and a results dashboard as independent checks.
A dashboard notification arrives late
Use the official exchange filing or issuer IR page as the time reference. Aggregated services can process a filing after it appears publicly, and a wider “last two days” or “past week” window may intentionally include older declarations.
The displayed date changed
Replace the old date in your personal calendar, reset the broker reminder if necessary, and retain the latest exchange notice as the record. Do not treat the original date as valid merely because it remains in an old email.
Practical safeguards before acting on a result
- Verify the company name and exchange symbol; similarly named issuers can produce misleading matches.
- Check whether the notice concerns quarterly financial results, a board meeting, a dividend, or a combined “Results/Dividend” event.
- Confirm the filing date and time from the latest exchange or issuer notice.
- Open the full result and presentation rather than relying on a subject line or notification preview.
- Keep account-activity alerts separate from market-information alerts so a trade notification is not mistaken for a results announcement.
Recommended setup in one sentence
Use NSE to discover and recheck dates, Kite to remind you on the scheduled day, the issuer’s IR page to receive the company’s own uploads, and Trendlyne or a carefully vetted watchlist to confirm publication; leave SEBI and depository alerts on for account security, not for earnings coverage.
