To send a draft in Gmail, open Drafts, select the message, check its recipients and contents, then click Send. Gmail saves unfinished messages automatically, so you can return to them later. If you are not ready to send immediately, you can schedule the message instead.
How do I send a draft email in Gmail?

Open Gmail on your computer. If you are starting a new message, click Compose, enter recipients in To, Cc, or Bcc, add a subject and write the message. Gmail saves it as a draft automatically.

To continue a saved message, open Drafts and select the draft you want to send.

Review the recipient fields, subject, message, and attachments. When everything is ready, click Send. These steps follow Google’s Gmail instructions for composing and sending messages; labels may vary by locale.

Where are my Gmail drafts?
Open the Drafts label in Gmail to find unfinished messages. Select a draft to reopen it and continue editing. Since Gmail saves drafts automatically, you do not need to send a message just to preserve your work.
What should I check before sending?

Recipients: Confirm every address and check that each person is in the intended field. Cc recipients can see the other recipients. Bcc hides those addresses from other recipients, but Bcc recipients can see addresses in To and Cc. People using non-Gmail services may not see that they were added as Bcc. See Google’s guidance on sending and recipient fields.

Subject and message: Check that the subject is present and the message is complete and addressed to the right people.

Attachments: Confirm that the intended files are attached and that any upload has finished before sending.
How do I undo a sent email in Gmail?
Right after sending, Gmail displays a Message sent notification with an Undo option. You can configure this cancellation period to 5, 10, 20, or 30 seconds in Gmail Settings. The window is short: Undo cancels a recent send; it is not a way to recall a message later after the window has passed. Google documents the setting in its send and undo instructions.
Can I schedule an email in Gmail?
Yes. Scheduling lets you choose a future send time instead of sending immediately. Google says an account can have up to 100 scheduled emails; this is a stated product limit, with no publication year given on its Help page.

Click the arrow beside Send, then choose Schedule send.

Select a suggested time or choose a date and time. Scheduling uses the time zone in effect when you set the send, and delivery may happen a few minutes after the selected time.

To change a scheduled message, cancel the scheduled send. Gmail returns the message to Drafts, where you can edit it and schedule it again. Google explains these options in its Schedule emails in Gmail instructions.

What if Gmail will not attach or send a file?
Google states that personal Gmail accounts can send attachments totaling up to 25 MB. Work and school account limits are set by the Workspace administrator, so the applicable limit may differ. When attachments exceed the applicable limit, Gmail automatically replaces them with a Google Drive link. Attachments count toward Google storage; an account at its storage limit cannot send or receive attachments. Gmail also blocks some file types, including executable files such as .exe, for security reasons. Google’s Gmail attachment guidance gives these limits and restrictions.

Check that you have available storage, that your connection is working, and that the upload has completed before sending.
What if a sent email seems to be missing?
Check Sent and Drafts in Gmail, then ask the recipient to check Spam or Junk. A slow connection can delay sending, and a delivery error may take time to arrive. Google’s message delivery troubleshooting guidance recommends these checks; it does not guarantee a specific arrival time or inbox placement.
