The Ancient Relic Recycler turns Ancient Relics into guaranteed Mythical Wood and Paloxite. A current facility-data guide reports that you unlock it at Production Technology level 74 for 3 Technology Points, then build it with 50 Paloxite Ingots, 50 Mythical Wood, 30 Ancient Civilization Parts, and 20 Ancient Civilization Cores. It also reports that the machine needs 800 electricity per second and a Pal with Handiwork Lv. 1. These figures come from community-decoded game data, not an official machine specification.
What you need to unlock and build the Recycler
Gamers.Wiki’s October 2, 2026 facility guide, based on community-decoded PalDB v1.0.5 facility data and cross-checked against an older extraction, reports these requirements:
- Unlock: Production Technology level 74
- Technology cost: 3 Technology Points
- Construction materials: 50 Paloxite Ingots, 50 Mythical Wood, 30 Ancient Civilization Parts, and 20 Ancient Civilization Cores
Pocketpair’s v1.0 release notes say Ancient Civilization Relics can be converted using a special device and that relics are found in the new World Tree area. The notes do not name the Recycler or publish its construction recipe.

What the machine needs to run
The same facility guide reports a requirement of 800 electricity per second and Handiwork Lv. 1. Make sure the base has working power and a Pal able to perform Handiwork before trying to operate the structure. The guide lists a workload value of 10,000, but does not verify that as a per-relic processing time; it cannot be used to calculate how long a conversion takes.

How to recycle an Ancient Relic
- Build the facility after unlocking it and providing the listed materials.
- Supply power to the base and make a Pal with Handiwork Lv. 1 available.
- Place an accepted Ancient Relic in the Recycler, then start the conversion using the machine interface.
- Collect the output when the conversion finishes.
The interface details are less firmly established than the unlock and facility data. A July 2026 how-to guide describes twelve input slots, mixed relic types, assigning a Pal, and switching the interface’s Power control on; check the current in-game interface because these specific prompts may vary by version. The facility-data guide does not establish a precise cycle duration or confirm whether conversion continues while you are offline.
What each Ancient Relic tier returns
Gamers.Wiki’s guide lists five accepted tiers and their guaranteed output ranges. Each conversion guarantees both materials within the ranges below; optional rewards are separate chance-based rolls, not part of the guaranteed return.

- (C) PALWORLD
| Ancient Relic tier | Guaranteed Mythical Wood | Guaranteed Paloxite |
|---|---|---|
| Decayed | 1–3 | 1–3 |
| Dormant | 3–5 | 3–5 |
| Gorgeous | 5–7 | 5–7 |
| Glowing | 7–9 | 7–9 |
| Glistening | 9–11 | 9–11 |
Higher-tier relics have larger guaranteed ranges for both materials, and the guide reports that their chances of optional rewards also improve. Because those extra rewards are random, weigh the reliable material return against the possibility of a bonus rather than counting on one.
Does the Recycler need World Tree Holy Water?
Its exact role in this machine is unresolved. One how-to guide recommends placing World Tree Holy Water in the machine, but reports that it sits in its slot without visibly draining. The newer facility-data guide says accounts differ on whether it is fuel, a speed boost, or consumed, and does not establish a specific effect. Pocketpair’s v1.0.3 patch notes document changes to Holy Water’s duration, weight, and acquisition sources, but do not describe a Recycler-specific effect. Do not assume it is required, consumed, or speeds up processing by a particular amount.
