To analyze a site’s speed in Hostinger, open Websites → Dashboard → Page Speed in hPanel, select a domain or subdomain that points to Hostinger, choose mobile or desktop, and click Analyze. The report separates the overall result from diagnostic details and previous tests, so use the score as a starting point—not a complete explanation of what is slowing the site down.

Run a Page Speed analysis in hPanel

  1. Sign in to your account and open Websites.

  2. Open the website’s Dashboard, then select Page Speed from the left-side navigation.

  3. Choose the domain or subdomain you want to test. It must point to Hostinger to appear in the selector, according to Hostinger’s current Page Speed instructions.

  4. Select mobile or desktop, then click Analyze.

  5. When the analysis finishes, review Results, Diagnostics, and Past Results.

Understand the three report sections

Results

Use this area to see the overall score and the aspects assessed. It gives you a high-level snapshot, but a score by itself does not identify the root cause of a slow page.

Diagnostics

Start here when you need to decide what to investigate. The detailed findings provide more context than the overall score, and Hostinger’s report may link to relevant guidance. Treat each finding as a lead to examine rather than proof that a single issue explains every slow visit.

Past Results

Use previous analyses to see how later checks compare with earlier ones. For a useful comparison, keep the page and test mode consistent; changing from mobile to desktop, for example, changes the conditions being assessed.

Make mobile and desktop results useful

A mobile result may be slower without indicating a hosting problem. Hostinger explains that mobile devices have slower processors and that PageSpeed Insights simulates a slower cellular connection. Those differences can affect a mobile test compared with a desktop test. Hostinger’s Website Builder speed guidance describes these factors; it does not mean every mobile/desktop gap has the same cause.

For an additional comparison, Hostinger recommends GTmetrix and Google PageSpeed Insights. GTmetrix lets you choose a test location, device, and connection speed. Select a location close to the actual server and keep the page and conditions as consistent as possible when comparing runs. Results from separate tools are not automatically equivalent because their testing conditions and reporting differ. See GTmetrix for its testing options.

Investigate likely causes before changing plans

A slow result can have more than one explanation. Hostinger’s optimization guidance identifies these areas to consider:

Hostinger suggests considering more hosting resources only when a site is already optimized and growing. An upgrade is a conditional option after diagnosis, not a guaranteed fix for a slow page.

Use other hPanel data when the Page Speed report is not enough

The Page Speed report is distinct from request-level information in hPanel Analytics. Hostinger’s Analytics documentation says access logs can show response time in milliseconds for requests. That can add context about individual requests, but it is not the same report as the Page Speed analysis.
