To change your equipped fruit in Haze Seas, obtain another fruit and eat it. The new fruit replaces the one you currently have, and the fruit guide says you cannot equip two fruits at once. You do not need to reset your character data.
If you want to remove a fruit without immediately eating another one, a fan-made NPC guide reports that Doc. White in Logue City offers fruit removal for 5 Gems or 25 Robux. Confirm the NPC, service and current price in the live game before spending currency. The separate data-reset button is a permanent full-character reset, not the normal way to switch fruits.
Choose the right action before you click anything
Haze Seas has three different actions that players often call a “reset.” They have very different consequences. Use the comparison below to decide what you actually need.

For almost every fruit-change request, the first row is the correct answer. The other two options exist for different purposes and carry more uncertainty or risk.

How to replace your current fruit
1. Get another fruit before changing anything
Do not press a character-reset control while looking for a replacement. First obtain a fruit through one of the available routes. The Haze Seas fruit guide lists these methods:
- New-player free fruit: New players are reported to receive one free random fruit once.
- Playtime rewards: Remaining in the game and reaching reward milestones can provide fruits.
- Natural world spawns: Fruits can appear in the game world. Spawn timing and locations can change with updates.
- Cynthia’s fruit-dealer spins: The guide places Cynthia on Starter Island and says she offers random-fruit spins for cash and Gems. Check the current price and available options at the NPC rather than relying on an old guide entry.
- Promo codes: Active codes may grant a fruit or another reward. Codes expire, so only use codes that the game currently accepts.
- Sea-event rewards: Some sea events can award fruits when their conditions are met.
These acquisition routes are guide-reported, not a guarantee that every route or reward is active on every server version. If a route is missing, has a different price or offers a different reward, use the live game’s prompt as the current authority.
2. Make sure the fruit is available to eat
Keep the replacement fruit in the character’s available inventory or interaction range according to the game’s current interface. The published guide does not specify a universal keyboard key or menu label for consuming every fruit, so follow the action prompt shown by your version of Haze Seas. If the fruit is stored with an NPC or in another inventory category, retrieve it only after confirming that the game allows it to be used from there.
3. Eat the new fruit
Use the fruit’s eat or consume action. The fruit guide states that eating a new fruit replaces the fruit currently equipped. There is no need to reset character data first, and the game does not support two simultaneously equipped fruits.
4. Test the result before leaving the area
After the consume action completes, check the character’s current fruit indicator or ability set. Use a safe location to confirm that the new abilities are active. This catches a cancelled interaction, an unavailable item or a server delay before you spend more currency looking for another solution.

What happens to the old fruit?
The guide’s rule is replacement: the newly eaten fruit takes the equipped slot. It does not describe a dual-fruit loadout, a temporary second slot or a button that swaps back and forth between two consumed fruits. Treat eating as a commitment to the new equipped fruit unless you have another fruit ready for a later replacement.
The same guide says collected fruits persist through death and data reset. That statement concerns collected fruits, not a promise that an already equipped fruit will remain equipped after every type of reset. Before any permanent action, distinguish between a fruit you are carrying or have collected and the ability currently assigned to your character.

Removing a fruit without eating another one
What the community guide reports
A fan-made Haze Seas NPC reference lists Doc. White in Logue City as a fruit-removal service. It gives a price of 5 Gems or 25 Robux. The page was marked last updated August 23, 2026, and identifies a game-data snapshot dated September 11, 2026 ET.
Because this is an unofficial guide rather than an official Roblox or Haze Studios announcement, treat the details as a lead to verify, not a guaranteed price list. An update may move Doc. White, rename the service, change the currency, disable the interaction or remove it entirely.
Safe way to check Doc. White
- Travel to Logue City using the route currently shown by your game.
- Find Doc. White and open the NPC interaction.
- Read the complete confirmation window. Confirm that the action removes the fruit you intend to remove and note whether the charge is Gems or Robux.
- Compare the displayed price with your available balance. Do not approve the transaction if the prompt differs from the current guide’s 5-Gem or 25-Robux report and you are not comfortable with the new terms.
- Only confirm after the game shows the live service, cost and result. If Doc. White is missing or has no removal option, do not substitute the full data reset; check for an update or server-specific change instead.
The reference does not establish every post-removal detail, such as whether the character immediately becomes fruitless in all menus or whether any cooldown applies. Verify the resulting state in your ability or character display before attempting another purchase.

Do not use the full data reset to change a fruit
Where the reset button is located
The beginner guide’s route is:
- Go to the tavern on Starter Island.
- Go upstairs.
- Use the data reset button.
The guide describes this as a permanent action that resets everything. That scope is fundamentally different from eating a replacement fruit or using a fruit-removal NPC.
Why it is the wrong tool for an ordinary fruit swap
A data reset is intended for a complete restart, not for changing one equipment choice. Using it only because you dislike your current fruit can affect character progress and other data covered by the game’s reset process. The beginner guide also mentions a June 2026 rework and says returning players’ data was preserved, but it does not provide a complete item-by-item reset inventory. Do not assume that preservation reports describe what will happen to your specific character today.
What is known about collected fruits
The fruit guide says collected fruits persist through a data reset. That is useful information, but it does not turn the reset into a safe fruit-change method. The sources do not fully define how an equipped fruit, currencies, abilities, quests or other character fields are represented after the reset. Read the live confirmation text and treat the operation as irreversible unless the game explicitly provides a restoration path.
Fruit storage is not automatically a fruit-changing method
An NPC reference lists a Fruit Archivist for storage. The reviewed material does not explain the Archivist’s requirements, capacity, retrieval process or whether a stored fruit can be equipped again. Do not deposit a fruit assuming that storage works like a second equipment slot or that it will restore a fruit you already ate.
If the Archivist offers a storage interaction in your current version, read the prompt carefully and confirm whether the item is being stored, consumed or exchanged. Keep the distinction clear:

- Equipped fruit: The fruit currently providing your character’s abilities.
- Consumed fruit: A fruit you have eaten to set the equipped ability.
The available guides establish replacement by eating a new fruit, but they do not establish a guaranteed way to recover every previously consumed fruit.

The new fruit did not replace my old one
- Check that the consume action completed rather than being cancelled by movement, distance or an interrupted interaction.
- Look at the current fruit or ability indicator after the interaction finishes.
- Reconnect to the server if the display appears unchanged, then check again before eating another item.
- Make sure you used a real fruit item and not a reward preview, spin result that still needs claiming or a stored item that cannot be consumed directly.
The guides do not document a universal error-code procedure, so avoid repeating a purchase until the game confirms what happened to the first item.
I cannot find a fruit spawn or reward
Natural spawns, playtime rewards and sea-event rewards are subject to game updates and availability. Try another currently listed acquisition route, such as an active promo code or a dealer interaction, and read the live requirements. Cynthia’s reported Starter Island location and spin prices may change; use the NPC’s current dialogue as the definitive prompt.
Doc. White is not offering removal
The 5-Gem or 25-Robux service comes from a fan-made page, not an official support notice. Verify that you are in Logue City, speaking to the intended NPC and playing a current server build. If the service is absent, wait for a server update or consult the game’s official announcements rather than pressing the permanent reset button.

Use the amount displayed in the live confirmation window. The August 23, 2026 guide entry may be stale after a balance update, regional change or service revision. Do not approve a Robux purchase or Gem deduction based solely on an old community price.

I reset my data by mistake
Do not immediately repeat the reset or spend currency trying random recovery actions. Record the server, time and exact confirmation text, then check official Roblox or Haze Studios support and current game announcements. The reviewed guides do not document a guaranteed undo button. Although collected fruits are reported to persist through data reset, that does not confirm restoration of every character field or the previously equipped fruit.
Decision examples
You have a replacement fruit ready
Eat the replacement. This is the direct, guide-supported method and does not require a data reset or a paid removal service.
You want to practice with no fruit equipped
Check Doc. White in Logue City. Review the live prompt and price before confirming, because the reported 5-Gem or 25-Robux service is unofficial and may have changed.
You are unhappy with your entire character progression
Only then consider the tavern’s upstairs data reset on Starter Island. Read the permanent warning and confirm that a full restart, rather than a single fruit change, is what you intend.
You have a valuable fruit but want to use another temporarily
Do not assume that storage or a second equipment slot will preserve a simple swap. Confirm whether you can obtain and later re-equip the original fruit before consuming the replacement. The available references do not promise recovery of an already eaten fruit.
Checklist before changing or resetting
- Identify whether you need replacement, removal or a complete character restart.
- Obtain the replacement fruit before consuming your current one.
- Confirm that only one fruit can be equipped at a time.
- Read the live interaction prompt instead of relying on an old price or location.
- For Doc. White, verify the NPC, Logue City location, service and current 5-Gem or 25-Robux price before payment.
- Never use the tavern’s data reset merely to switch fruits.
- Assume the full reset is permanent and review its warning carefully.
- Keep collected, stored and equipped fruits conceptually separate.
- After any change, verify the active fruit or abilities before leaving the server.
Keeping these instructions current
Haze Seas can change through reworks, balance patches and server updates. A source-status guide updated August 4, 2026 identifies Roblox and Haze Studios as the authorities for official support and updates, while the fruit and NPC pages are community references. Use community guides to locate a mechanic, then confirm the actual NPC dialogue, price, button label and result in your current game client.
This is especially important for Cynthia’s spins, promo codes, world spawns, sea-event rewards and Doc. White’s removal fee. A guide date is evidence of when a page was checked, not a guarantee that the mechanic remains unchanged after that date.
Bottom line
For a normal fruit change, get another fruit and eat it; the new fruit replaces the equipped one, and two fruits cannot be equipped together. If you need to remove a fruit without replacing it, investigate Doc. White in Logue City and verify the live price before paying. Reserve the Starter Island tavern’s upstairs data-reset button for a deliberate, permanent full restart—not for changing one fruit.
