Rerolling in One Piece Bounty Rush means abandoning or setting aside a new start, repeating the early setup and summons, and keeping the result only if the live Scout gives you a character you actually want. It can make sense on a brand-new account with almost no progress. It is usually a bad trade on an established account because you give up characters, Rainbow Diamonds, Scout progress, rankings, and other investment without any guarantee that the next start will be better.
The safe approach is to compare the value of your current account with the exact Scout that is available now. Check its in-game rates, expiry date and Scout Point rules, protect any account you intend to keep, and never treat app deletion or data transfer as a harmless reset.
What rerolling actually does
A reroll is a repeated early-game cycle: start an account, finish the introductory setup, use the available summons, and begin again if the result does not fit your goal. The goal is normally to obtain a preferred character or a more satisfying opening roster before investing time in league battles, missions and upgrades.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesThis is an account decision, not a guaranteed shortcut to a powerful team. Rates are determined by the current Scout, characters change, and a long series of attempts can consume more time than the account is worth. There is no reliable universal “best reroll character” because balance, banners and event conditions change.
A community video titled “How To Reroll in One Piece Bounty Rush!” was published in 2023. It is useful for understanding the historical idea, but its button-by-button sequence should not be treated as current official instructions.

Compare the account you have with the live Scout
| Question | Why it matters | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| How much progress is on the current account? | A developed account represents time and resources that a fresh start cannot recover. | Characters, levels, medals, missions, league progress, Rainbow Diamonds and any Scout Points. |
| Is the target character available now? | Rerolling for a character that is not in the active pool cannot succeed. | Open the relevant Scout and read the featured-character list. |
| What is the actual rate? | Names and tier-list rankings do not tell you the probability of a pull. | Use the rate details on the live Scout screen. |
| When does the Scout end? | A banner can disappear before you finish experimenting. | Record the displayed end date and time, including the time zone shown by the game. |
| What happens to Scout Points? | Points may not carry to a later event. | Check the event notice for the expiry and reset rule. |
| How much repetition will you tolerate? | Every attempt costs setup and summon time, even when it produces nothing useful. | Set a personal time limit rather than assuming a desired result is “due.” |
The official announcement archive tells players to check rates on the relevant Scout screen, warns that event details can change, and notes that Scout Points reset when a Scout expires. See the official Bounty Rush announcement archive immediately before spending resources.

When a reroll usually makes sense
- You have just started and have little or no irreplaceable progress.
- The active Scout includes a character you genuinely want to play, not merely one that appears high on an old tier list.
- You understand the displayed rate and banner deadline.
- You are comfortable repeating the opening sequence without expecting a guaranteed outcome.
- You have a safe way to preserve any account you might want to return to.
When keeping the account is normally better
- You have built a roster, upgraded medals or accumulated meaningful league and mission progress.
- Your account contains limited characters or resources that would be difficult to replace.
- The current Scout is not particularly attractive to you.
- You would be starting over mainly because of a bad single pull or a stale online ranking.
- You cannot explain how you would recover the account if a transfer or reset goes wrong.
Prepare the account before experimenting
Protect an account you may keep
Before trying anything, make sure the account you value has its available transfer settings and information configured. Bandai Namco says support cannot disclose lost transfer information, and an interrupted transfer can invalidate a transfer code. Treat those details as recovery credentials, not as something to reconstruct after an accident. The official data-transfer notes explain these restrictions.

Record the platform you use and the account state you intend to preserve. Do not begin by deleting data, unlinking a platform or entering a transfer flow merely to see what happens. If you cannot verify the recovery path, stop and resolve that uncertainty first.
Understand what a transfer is—and is not
Bandai Namco defines data transfer as moving game data from one mobile device to another. After a transfer, the old device cannot access that account. That is a move, not a supported duplicate-account backup or a rollback button. The definition and device restriction are described in What is a Data Transfer?
Consequently, do not create a reroll plan that depends on keeping two active copies of one mobile account, restoring a deleted server record or reversing a completed transfer. Confirm the destination device and credentials before committing.

A cautious reroll workflow
The exact menus and startup rewards can change with updates and platform. Use the following as a decision-safe sequence rather than a promise that every installation shows identical buttons.
- Open the live Scout first. Read the featured units, rates, event conditions, expiry and Scout Point rule. Decide what result would make you stop. If the desired character is not listed, do not start a reroll for it.
- Assess the account currently on the device. If it has meaningful progress, pause and compare that value with the banner. A fresh start is not automatically an upgrade.
- Secure anything you might keep. Verify the available transfer settings and retain the required information privately. Do this before experimenting, not after an unsuccessful attempt.
- Start a fresh game state only through the game’s supported account controls. Complete the opening setup and tutorial that the current version presents. Do not assume an old guide’s labels or order still match your installation.
- Collect only the startup resources the game currently grants. The amount and timing are event-dependent, so do not rely on a fixed number of Rainbow Diamonds or summons from an older article or video.
- Summon on the Scout you inspected. Reopen the rate details if necessary and confirm that the pull is being made on the intended banner. Stop if the result meets your personal target; there is no evidence that repeated attempts improve a published success percentage.
- If the result is not acceptable, use only a current, supported reset or sign-out route. If the game does not clearly provide one, consult its current help options before taking an irreversible action. Do not improvise by deleting valuable server data.
- Once satisfied, finish account setup and secure the kept account. Confirm that the account is on the intended platform and that you can recover it before investing more time or currency.
This workflow deliberately avoids a universal tap-by-tap recipe because the available public walkthrough is from August 2023 and the live interface, rewards and account options can change.
Why deleting the app is not a safe reroll method
Removing an app from a phone does not establish that the server account has been reset, and it can leave you without a reliable way back into an account you wanted. More importantly, the official deletion process is not an ordinary restart.

Bandai Namco’s Account Deletion FAQ states: “Once your account deletion request is approved, it cannot be cancelled.” Approved deletion permanently removes game data and unused in-app currency. Subscription charges can continue until you cancel them through the platform where you purchased the subscription. Do not submit a deletion request merely to test a reroll theory.
| Action | What the official information establishes | Practical implication |
|---|---|---|
| Uninstall the app | Not identified as a supported server reset. | Do not assume reinstalling creates a clean, recoverable account. |
| Request account deletion | Permanent after approval; unused currency is lost; subscriptions may continue billing until cancelled. | Use only when you intentionally want the account gone and have handled billing. |
| Transfer data | Moves the account between mobile devices; the old device loses access. | It is migration, not cloning, backup or an undo function. |
| Interrupt a transfer | A transfer code can become invalid, and support cannot disclose lost transfer information. | Do not start unless the destination and credentials are ready. |
Scout rates, expiry and Scout Points
The banner is the only appropriate place to obtain current pull information. Read the rate breakdown for the specific Scout you plan to use; a character’s reputation or a historic tier list cannot substitute for it.
- Rate: Use the percentage displayed in the Scout’s details. No published source establishes a universal reroll success rate or a guaranteed number of attempts.
- Expiry: Record when the event ends. A reroll that takes too long can outlast the opportunity it was meant to target.
- Scout Points: Check whether points carry forward. The official announcement guidance says Scout Points reset after a Scout expires, so unspent points should not be treated as permanent progress.
- Event changes: Recheck the screen before every serious attempt because event details can change.
Set a stopping rule before you begin: for example, stop when the target appears, when the banner expires, or when your chosen time budget is used. That is a personal discipline rule, not a probability claim.
Mobile and Steam: restrictions to check first
One Piece Bounty Rush supports Multi-Login across mobile and Steam, but the platforms do not behave as interchangeable copies. Bandai Namco says most account data is shared while Rainbow Diamonds and certain rankings are separate. It also says that linking a new Bounty Rush account to a Steam account cannot be undone by unlinking. The platform-specific explanation is on the official Steam and Multi-Login page.
What this means for a reroll
- Do not assume Rainbow Diamonds earned on one platform will appear identically on the other.
- Do not use Steam linking as a temporary holding area for multiple rerolls.
- Read the current linking prompts carefully; an apparently reversible unlink may not restore the previous arrangement.
- Choose the platform on which you expect to play before finalizing a valuable start.
Common reroll mistakes and recovery choices
Mistake: chasing an old tier list
A list written for a previous banner may describe a character you cannot currently summon or a balance state that no longer applies. Replace the list with the live Scout’s featured roster, rate table and your own play preference.

Mistake: treating a transfer as a backup
A transfer moves access and can remove it from the old device. If you need a recoverable copy, verify the supported account arrangement before moving anything; do not infer backup behavior from the word “transfer.”
Mistake: deleting to save time
Deletion is permanent after approval and destroys unused currency. If your objective is simply to try another start, stop and identify a supported reset path instead of filing a deletion request.
Mistake: continuing after the target appears
Once the account meets your pre-set goal, secure it. More attempts create additional opportunities for an accidental reset, a mistaken link or a missed banner deadline.

Answer every item before starting:
- Does the current account contain progress or characters I would be upset to lose?
- Is my preferred character listed on the live Scout right now?
- Have I read the exact rate, expiry and Scout Point rules?
- Have I configured and recorded the supported transfer information for any account I may keep?
- Do I understand that a transfer is a move, not a duplicate backup?
- Am I avoiding account deletion unless I intentionally want permanent erasure?
- Am I clear about mobile/Steam differences, separate Rainbow Diamonds and the irreversible linking restriction?
- What is my stopping rule if the target does not appear?
If you cannot answer one of these questions, keep the current account while you verify it. A cautious delay is cheaper than losing a developed roster.
Quick Recap
Bottom line
Reroll only when the account is genuinely new, the live Scout contains a character you personally want, and the potential improvement is worth repeating the opening setup. Check the current banner rather than relying on stale rankings, protect your account before experimenting, and treat deletion, transfer and Steam linking as consequential account operations—not as reversible reroll buttons.
