There is no officially documented reroll procedure for Monster Hunter Outlanders yet. Capcom’s mobile game is scheduled to launch on iOS and Android on October 29, 2026, and the official website, user agreement, and store listings reviewed before launch do not publish a new-game, account-reset, or repeatable first-draw sequence.
That means Android and iPhone players should not assume that deleting the app, clearing storage, or creating multiple logins is a safe reroll. The user agreement warns that game data may be deleted if you uninstall or otherwise delete the game. Use the launch-day checks below to find out whether the live client offers a supported guest reset or account-switch option, and protect any progress you decide to keep.

What the answer is right now
Monster Hunter Outlanders is not live yet as of October 17, 2026. Its public iOS and Android launch is scheduled for October 29, 2026. The official materials available before launch do not state:

- whether a guest account can be reset;
- whether Android app-data deletion resets only local data or also server-side progress;
- whether iPhone reinstalling creates a fresh profile;
- how long the opening sequence takes before any random item or draw is awarded; or
- whether account switching is built into the title screen.
Consequently, any article that gives a guaranteed button-by-button reroll method before the live client and an official support explanation exists is making an assumption. The exact Android and iPhone sequence remains unresolved until the game itself exposes one or Capcom publishes instructions.

Facts that affect a reroll decision
Launch date and platforms
Capcom has announced an iOS and Android release for October 29, 2026. The game is free to play and includes in-app purchases. Install it from the official Apple or Google store listing only after the live release is available; pre-release pages and videos cannot confirm which account controls will appear in the production client.
Guest play is possible, but not guaranteed to be safe
The user agreement distinguishes a Game Account from an App Store account and says some players may be able to play without creating a Game Account. It also warns that access can be limited and that game data may be deleted if you uninstall or otherwise delete the game. “Guest” therefore describes a possible sign-in state, not a promise that a guest profile can be repeatedly reset or recovered.
Random items make rerolling tempting
The Google Play listing labels the game as containing in-app purchases, including random items. The public materials do not establish the first reward, its odds, the number of attempts available before account binding, or the time required to reach that reward. Do not spend money to test a reroll theory while those details are unknown.
Why common reroll tricks can lose progress
Uninstalling and reinstalling
Deleting the application removes local files, but it does not prove that a server-side profile has been erased. Depending on how the live client associates a session with a device or login, reinstalling could restore the same profile, create a new one, or leave you unable to recover the old one. In this game, the agreement expressly says game data may be deleted after uninstalling or otherwise deleting the game, so treat the operation as potentially irreversible.
Clearing Android storage
Android normally exposes Settings > Apps > Monster Hunter Outlanders > Storage, where a player might see Clear storage or Clear data. That path is an operating-system function, not an announced Outlanders reset. It can remove locally cached credentials and an unbound guest session. Do not use it unless the in-game instructions or official support text specifically says it is part of a supported reset.
Deleting an iPhone app
On iPhone, deleting the app and downloading it again has the same uncertainty. If the profile is linked to a Game Account or another sign-in, the server may restore it. If it is an unlinked guest profile, the local identifier may be lost. Neither outcome is confirmed for Outlanders before launch.
Making several accounts
Multiple Apple, Google, email, or social identities can create an account-management problem rather than a reroll. You may bind the wrong session, lose track of which UID belongs to which login, or violate a rule that appears in the final terms. Use only sign-in methods and account limits described by the live client and its support documentation.
Launch-day verification procedure
The following process is a safe way to determine what the released app actually supports. It does not claim that every listed menu will exist.
- Install from the official store listing. Wait until October 29, 2026, or the date shown in the current store listing for your region. Avoid modified packages, unofficial download mirrors, and guides that ask for your credentials.
- Record the first account state. At the title screen, note whether the client offers Guest, Sign in, Account, or similar choices. Take a screenshot of the displayed player name or UID if one appears. Do not publish private recovery information.
- Open account settings before beginning a long session. Look for labels such as Account switch, Link account, Delete account, New game, Reset data, or Customer support. Read every warning page. A delete command is not automatically a reroll command.
- Check whether guest progress can be reset explicitly. If the game offers a guest session, look for a clearly named reset or new-session control inside the game. Confirm whether it says local data, server data, or both will be removed, and whether the action has a waiting period or confirmation code.
- Reach the first reward only if the time cost is acceptable. The public information does not state when a first draw or random item becomes available. Before repeating the opening, write down the exact screens and the account state so that you can recognize whether a new attempt actually created a new profile.
- Stop before binding a result you do not want to keep. If the client automatically links the session to Apple, Google, email, or another provider, do not assume that signing out creates a blank account. Check the account menu and support text first.
- Bind a keeper account using the supported method. Once you obtain a result worth keeping, link it through the in-game account control, then record the UID, server or region if shown, and the login method. Keep the confirmation email or screenshot in a private location.
- Use support instead of destructive experiments. If a reset option is missing or unclear, contact the support route shown in the client or official documentation. Ask whether the profile is server-bound and whether guest data can be recovered before uninstalling or clearing storage.

If the live client includes an explicit reset
A supported reset should be distinguishable from deleting the application because it will appear in an in-game account or session menu and explain what is removed. Before confirming it, check these details:
- Scope: whether only the current guest profile is removed or a linked Game Account and all associated data are deleted.
- Recovery: whether the action can be cancelled, reversed, or restored through support.
- Cooldown: whether a reset is immediate or subject to a waiting period.
- Purchases: whether paid items, currency, receipts, and entitlements are affected.
- Identity: whether the next session receives a new UID or simply reloads the old one.
Use the command only after saving the UID and confirming that the profile is not the one you intend to keep. If the warning is vague, cancel and ask support rather than testing it with a valuable account.

If there is no reset option
Keep the first account or wait for official guidance
When no guest reset, new-session command, or account-switch feature is visible, the least risky choice is to keep the current profile and wait for an official explanation. Repeatedly deleting files cannot establish whether the server has retained the account and can destroy an unlinked session.
Do not confuse signing out with starting over
Signing out of an Apple, Google, email, or social login may only return you to the same account-selection screen. Before choosing another identity, verify which profile is currently linked and record its UID. A new login can be a separate account, but the public materials do not promise that it will receive a fresh tutorial or reward.
Ask a precise support question
Provide your platform, the sign-in state (guest or linked), the UID if available, and the exact menu labels you see. Ask whether a supported reroll exists, whether uninstalling deletes server data, and how to preserve the current profile. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, or payment details.
Protecting a result you want to keep
- Link the profile through the game’s own Game Account control before changing devices or deleting the app.
- Save the UID, player name, region, and linked sign-in method privately.
- Keep purchase receipts and support case numbers if you spend money.
- Do not share recovery codes or allow another person to test a reset on your account.
- Before moving between Android and iPhone, confirm that the supported Game Account works across both platforms; the pre-launch materials do not specify cross-platform transfer details.
How to judge whether rerolling is worthwhile
Rerolling trades time and account risk for a chance at a better early random item. Outlanders’ store listing confirms random items and in-app purchases, but it does not publish the relevant odds or the number of free attempts. You therefore cannot calculate a meaningful expected value before launch.
After release, note three facts before deciding: the minutes required to reach the first draw, the exact items available, and whether the account can be reset without deleting server data. If the first attempt is quick and the client provides a reversible guest reset, repeating it may be reasonable. If the tutorial is long, the reset is destructive, or the result is already linked, keeping the account is safer.

The app restores the same profile after reinstalling
This indicates that reinstalling did not create a fresh server profile. Stop deleting the app, check the account menu, and use only an explicit reset or support instruction.
The guest profile disappeared
Because the agreement warns that game data may be deleted after uninstalling or deleting the game, an unlinked guest profile may not be recoverable. Reinstall the official client, check every supported sign-in method you used, and contact support with the former UID or screenshots if you have them.
A new login shows no progress
Confirm that you selected the intended provider and region. Do not overwrite or delete the old profile while troubleshooting. Record the new UID separately and ask support to identify which login owns each profile.
The account menu has a delete command but no reset command
Assume that delete means permanent account removal unless the warning explicitly says otherwise. Cancel the operation, capture the wording for your records, and request clarification through the official support channel.

Capcom may publish a reroll explanation, add an account-switch control, or document guest-session limits after the October 29 release. A reliable update should specify whether Android and iPhone behave differently, whether reset data is local or server-side, how many tutorial steps precede the first draw, and whether reinstalling is required. Until those details are stated by the live client or official support, treat unofficial reroll claims as unverified.
