To change your clan in Type Soul, obtain a Clan Reroll, place it on your hotbar from the inventory, and activate it. The item rolls a new clan from the pool available to your race. Shikai and Res are different systems: use the matching ability or Element Reroll shown in your inventory, then follow the prompt the current game build displays. Do not use an Element Reroll, Weapon Reroll, or Clan Reroll interchangeably.
Code rewards can provide rerolls, but codes expire quickly and a dated list is not proof that a code still works. Treat progression changes after an ability reroll as uncertain until the live game confirms what will be reset.
Which reroll changes which Type Soul attribute?
Your first step is identifying the attribute you actually want to replace. Type Soul separates clan, ability or element, and weapon rerolls. Using the wrong item will not change the intended part of your character.

The safest rule is to read the complete item name in your inventory before using it. If the name says Clan Reroll, follow the clan procedure below. If it says Element Reroll or another ability-specific name, use the prompt attached to that item rather than assuming the clan hotbar method applies.

How to change your clan
1. Get a Clan Reroll
You need a Clan Reroll in your inventory. A June 12, 2026 guide from All Things How reports codes, player trading, AFK World, and a Robux purchase as possible sources. Those are third-party reports, not a guarantee that each route is currently available in your server or shop. Check the live inventory, trade interface, and official announcements before spending currency or arranging a trade.
2. Put the reroll on your hotbar
- Open your in-game inventory.
- Locate the item named Clan Reroll. Do not select an Element Reroll or Weapon Reroll by mistake.
- Move or assign the Clan Reroll to an empty hotbar slot.
- Close the inventory and make sure the item is visible in the selected slot.
3. Activate it
Select the hotbar slot and activate the item using your normal Roblox input. The game should roll a new clan from the pool associated with your character’s race. When the roll succeeds, the clan name changes. Record your old clan first if you need to compare the result, because a reroll is intended to replace the current assignment rather than create a second clan slot.
4. Confirm the result before using another item
Open the character information or clan display and verify the new name. If nothing changed, do not immediately consume another reroll. Confirm that the item was actually activated, that the server finished processing the action, and that the item was a Clan Reroll. Log out only after the character has visibly updated, and avoid repeated clicks that could make it unclear whether a second item was consumed.
Why players reroll clans
Clan rarity is the usual reason to reroll. The June 2026 guide describes common clans as providing no stat bonuses, while mythic and legendary clans can have bonuses. That description explains the motivation for rerolling, but it does not promise a specific rarity, bonus, or probability on your next use. A reroll remains random within your race’s clan pool.

Before activating one, decide whether you are seeking a particular bonus or simply replacing an unwanted name. If the goal is a specific high-rarity clan, keep enough resources for the possibility of multiple attempts and treat every listed probability as provisional unless the current game provides it directly.
How to change Shikai
Shikai is the Soul Reaper release system, not a clan. The available evidence does not establish one universal button sequence that works for every current Shikai or ability reroll. Item names and prompts can change with updates, so use the item that your live inventory identifies as the relevant ability or Element Reroll.
- Check your inventory and read the full name of the ability-related reroll.
- Confirm that it refers to an ability or element, not a Clan Reroll or Weapon Reroll.
- Select the item and follow the on-screen activation prompt presented by the current build. If the game requires a hotbar slot, assign it there; if it opens a confirmation window, read the target and cost before accepting.
- After the action completes, inspect the Shikai or ability display and confirm the new result before leaving the server.
A community-maintained Fandom page describes Grade 2 and meditation steps for unlocking Shikai. That page is not an official current guide, and its mechanics may be stale. Do not assume that a reroll restores, preserves, or skips those unlock steps. The currently available information also does not establish whether every Shikai reroll consumes the same item, or exactly which mastery or Bankai progress is affected.

How to change Res
Resurrección, usually shortened to Res, is the Arrancar progression system and is also separate from clan selection. Use the ability or Element Reroll that the current inventory associates with Res, then obey its live prompt. Do not use the clan hotbar instructions as proof that every Res item behaves identically.

- Verify that your character is using the Arrancar/Res path and that the item is intended for an ability or element.
- Read the item description and any confirmation text. Look for wording that names the current Res or ability.
- Activate only after noting which stage or ability is selected for replacement.
- Check the Res display and your available progression objectives after the server confirms the change.
A community Fandom page says that a Res reroll may require repeating the labyrinth stage. The same page carries a warning that it may be buggy, so this is a possible consequence rather than a guaranteed rule. The available sources do not settle every interaction among Partial Res, Full Res, Segunda Etapa, and a reroll. If a labyrinth, mastery, or unlock prompt reappears, treat the prompt in your live game as the authoritative instruction.
How to redeem Type Soul reroll codes
A September 1, 2026 All Things How guide reports three practical requirements: the character must be at least Semi-Grade 2, the code field is opened through the Gift Box icon at the top-left, and entries are case-sensitive. Successful rewards are reported to go to the inventory.
- Advance the character to at least Semi-Grade 2 if the code interface rejects you for eligibility.
- In the Type Soul interface, select the Gift Box icon at the top-left.
- Enter the code exactly as published, preserving capital letters, numbers, and spelling.
- Submit with Enter.
- Open the inventory and verify the reward before attempting another submission.
If a code is rejected, check capitalization first. Then confirm that you are on the correct character, that the character meets the grade requirement, and that the code has not expired or already been redeemed. Avoid repeatedly submitting a malformed string: a failed attempt is not evidence that a different reroll category is required.

A search result for an October 2, 2026 guide lists PALACEUPDATE2060 with four Locked Red Elixirs, two Locked Blue Elixirs, 100 Locked Element Rerolls, 100 Locked Weapon Rerolls, 100 Locked Clan Rerolls, and other rewards. That is a dated third-party listing. It was not verified as still redeemable on October 11, and a listing from October 2 cannot guarantee that it works on October 16 or that the reward bundle is unchanged.

Use the code only as a lead: check current official announcements or enter it in the live game and inspect the result. Do not treat the listed quantities as guaranteed, and do not call the code active merely because an old article labels it that way. The September guide also labels older entries as expired, which is why code status must be checked close to the time you redeem it.

This is the point on which the available information is least settled. Community pages report that some ability rerolls can make a player repeat earlier steps, including a labyrinth stage for Res. Those pages are maintained by players rather than the game developer, and one explicitly notes possible bugs. They do not establish a universal reset rule for every Shikai or Res variant.
Before spending an ability reroll, make a quick record of:

- Your current Shikai, Partial Res, Full Res, or Segunda Etapa state.
- Mastery, meditation, Bankai, labyrinth, and other visible progression objectives.
- The exact item name and the confirmation text shown when you select it.
- Your current inventory count, so you can tell whether the item was consumed.
After the reroll, follow any newly displayed objective in the live game. If a previously completed stage returns, that is evidence of the current server behavior for your character, not proof that every other ability reroll will behave the same way.

Troubleshooting
The item is not visible on the hotbar
Return to the inventory and assign the item again. Check that you selected the usable Clan Reroll rather than a locked reward or a similarly named ability item. If the slot remains empty, switch servers and inspect the inventory after the character finishes loading.
The clan did not change
Verify the item name, activate it once, and wait for the server response. Check the clan display rather than relying on a sound or animation. If the item count decreased but the display did not update, rejoin and check again before consuming another reroll; capture the visible state if you need to report a bug through the game’s official channels.
A code says invalid or expired
Re-enter it with exact capitalization, confirm Semi-Grade 2 eligibility, and check a current official announcement. Third-party lists can remain online after a code is disabled. A dated reward list is not a live status indicator.

Stop at the confirmation screen and read the prompt. Note your progression, then use the game’s resulting objectives as the authoritative indication. Do not rely on a community wiki statement as a guarantee for a current build, especially where the page warns about bugs.
Safe reroll checklist
- Identify the target: clan, Shikai, Res, or weapon.
- Match the target to the exact item category.
- Record your current name, stage, mastery, and inventory count.
- Read the confirmation prompt before accepting.
- Use one item at a time and wait for the server to update.
- Verify the new clan or ability in the character display.
- For codes, preserve case and confirm the character meets the eligibility requirement.
- Check current official announcements rather than assuming an old code still works.
What is confirmed and what is not
The clan procedure is the clearest: a Clan Reroll is equipped from inventory to the hotbar and activated to select a new clan from the race pool. Code redemption has reported interface and eligibility requirements, but code availability and rewards are volatile. Shikai and Res reroll prompts, item consumption rules, and progression resets are not fully established across the current game build. When an in-game prompt conflicts with an old guide or community page, follow the live prompt and preserve your progression notes before trying another reroll.
