For Android preview system issues on a supported Pixel build, submit feedback through the included Android Beta Feedback app or the Android Issue Tracker. For a problem with one app’s beta, use that app’s own reporting flow; for device-level feedback or diagnostics on Pixel, use the options in Settings or Developer options. The right route depends on what is failing.
Choose the reporting channel that matches the problem

The Android Beta Feedback app is included in preview builds on Pixel devices. These instructions are not a universal process for every manufacturer’s beta: Pixel Help cautions that its steps may not work on custom Android versions. Report an Android preview issue
Use Android Beta Feedback on Pixel
- On a Pixel device running a supported preview build, open the Android Beta Feedback app included with the build.
- Describe the issue and submit it through the app’s prompts. Include the device and build, the action that triggers the problem, what you expected, what happened, and whether you can reproduce it.
Reports sent through the Beta Feedback app are separate from Issue Tracker reports until they are reviewed and verified. Do not submit the same issue through both channels on the assumption that the reports will be merged.

Use the Android Issue Tracker
- Open the Android Issue Tracker and search the release notes, top open issues, and recently created reports for a match.
- If a matching report exists, star it to follow updates and vote for it rather than creating a duplicate.
- If no match exists, create a report in the category that fits the issue and provide clear reproduction steps and device/build details.
The Android 17 guidance distinguishes Platform issues—which include Android system software or APIs, the NDK, device hardware, and ART—from App compatibility issues involving an app on the latest build. Security and Android Studio problems have specialized trackers linked from the Android 17 feedback page.

- Open Settings and scroll to About phone.
- Tap Send feedback about this device, then follow the prompts.
Capture a bug report when it will help diagnose the issue
A full diagnostic report is not necessary for every submission. Pixel Help documents a bug-report process that involves enabling Developer options and USB debugging, enabling the bug-report shortcut, reproducing the problem, capturing the report, and sharing it. Use the report when its extra diagnostic detail is relevant to the failure, and follow the current Pixel Help instructions.
For mobile connectivity problems, Pixel’s guidance includes optional verbose vendor logging; for Bluetooth problems, it includes Bluetooth HCI snoop logging. These are issue-specific options, not requirements for ordinary feedback. If your device runs a custom Android version, consult its manufacturer because Pixel’s steps may not apply.

Report a problem with an app’s beta
Android Auto
Android Auto beta testers are directed to send feedback as soon as possible after an issue. Keep the phone connected to the vehicle, use the notification to choose Android Auto, complete the report, and submit it when safe. The Android Auto help page says beta testers no longer need to enable Developer Mode to send a bug report. This is an Android Auto-specific process, not the general Android platform workflow. Phone app beta
In the Phone app, tap More → Help & feedback → Send feedback, enter your feedback, and send it. Google says the message, system information, and your email address if you are signed in are sent with the feedback. See Phone app help.

Make the report useful and follow up
- Identify the build and device. State which device and Android build you are using so the report can be understood in context.
- Describe a reproducible path. List the action that triggers the issue, what you expected, what happened instead, and whether it happens consistently.
- Search before filing. Use the release notes and current issue lists to find an existing match; star and vote on it instead of duplicating it.
- Check again on a newer build. Google says reports may receive no response and may be closed when the next build is released. If the problem remains, check current release notes and issue lists again; star a matching report or submit a new one from the latest build if none exists.
Google’s Android 17 feedback guidance states: “Due to the volume of feedback, submitted issues from any channel might not receive a response and issues might be closed upon release of the next build.”
