Report an abusive player from the ARC Raiders Lobby by opening Social in the bottom-right, choosing Recent, selecting the player’s name, and choosing Report. Pick the closest reason, add a short factual description of what happened, and submit it. You can then block the player; muting or blocking can also be done from end-of-round player name plates in version 1.29.0 and later.
Use a report when Embark needs to investigate conduct, mute when you only need to stop hearing someone immediately, and block when you want to stop further contact. Reports are reviewed before action, and mass reports alone do not automatically ban an account.
The fastest response to abuse
ARC Raiders gives you three different tools, and they solve different problems:

If the behavior is happening in voice chat, mute first if you need to keep playing without hearing it, then report the player so Embark can review the conduct. Blocking is useful when you do not want any further contact. These actions are not mutually exclusive.

How to report a player from the Lobby
The in-game menu is Embark’s preferred reporting route because it attaches the relevant match and player context to the case. Follow these steps after returning to the ARC Raiders Lobby.
- Open the Lobby. If you are still in a match, finish or leave the current activity and return to the main Lobby screen.
- Select Social. The Social entry is in the bottom-right corner of the Lobby.
- Open Recent. This tab lists players you recently encountered, so you do not need to remember or manually enter a username.
- Select the player’s name. Check that the name matches the person whose conduct you are reporting.
- Choose Report. The report option opens the conduct-reason form.
- Pick the closest reason. Choose the category that best describes what you actually observed.
- Add a short, factual description. State what happened, when it happened, and any identifying context visible in the match.
- Submit the report. Confirm the submission only after checking that the selected player and reason are correct.
What to write in the description
A useful description is specific enough for an investigator to understand the incident without guessing. Include the approximate point in the match, the player’s displayed name, the action you observed, and whether it happened once or repeatedly. For voice abuse, identify the words or type of conduct as accurately as you can. For suspected cheating, describe the observable behavior rather than asserting that you know which software or method was used.
- Useful: “During the final extraction, this player repeatedly used slurs in proximity voice chat after I asked them to stop.”
- Useful: “At approximately the second objective, the player appeared to track opponents through a wall; I could not see how they knew the locations.”
- Less useful: “This person is definitely hacking,” when you only saw an unusually accurate shot.
Do not exaggerate, add unrelated arguments, or include personal information about another player. A concise account of observable behavior gives Embark a clearer starting point.
How to mute or block someone
Use the end-of-round player name plate
Version 1.29.0 added social actions on end-of-round player name plates. When the round ends, select the relevant squad member’s name plate and use the on-screen actions for Report, Mute, or Block. This is the quickest way to act while the encounter is still visible.
Block after submitting a report
Version 1.29.0 also added an option to block a player after reporting them. If the report flow presents that option, use it when you want to prevent further contact from the same account. Reporting and blocking have separate purposes: the report supplies information for review, while the block changes your future interaction with that player.

Platform controls and prompts
Embark’s published social notes do not specify a universal keyboard key or controller button for these actions. Menu labels and the available prompt can vary by platform, so follow the button or key shown on your screen rather than relying on a remembered binding. If you do not see an action, first make sure you selected the player’s name plate or the player’s entry in the Recent list, not an empty area of the social panel.

Use the following decision framework when you need to act quickly:

What conduct can be reported?
Embark’s enforcement policy identifies several types of conduct that can lead to a ban. The policy lists:
- Abusive behavior
- Hate speech
- Harassment
- Stream sniping
- Cheating
- Exploit abuse
- Account boosting or farming
- Account sharing or selling
- Trading items for anything of value
These categories do not require you to diagnose the underlying technology or determine the final policy classification yourself. Select the closest report reason and explain the behavior you saw. Embark decides whether the evidence establishes a violation.
Voice-chat harassment
Voice abuse can be difficult to document because it happens in real time. Mute the speaker if you need immediate silence, then record the relevant words and approximate timing in your report description. Distinguish insults, threats, hate speech, and repeated unwanted contact where possible; those details help an investigator understand the type and persistence of the conduct.

Suspicious play versus confirmed cheating
Unusual accuracy, rapid reactions, or an unexpected route can have more than one explanation. If you are not certain, describe the observable sequence instead of claiming certainty. For example, explain that the player appeared to know your position through cover and identify when it happened. This gives Embark something verifiable to examine without turning a suspicion into an unsupported accusation.

No. Embark states that all reports are reviewed and verified before action is taken, and that mass reporting alone cannot ban someone. A report is an investigation signal, not an automatic punishment counter.
That does not make coordinated or repeated reporting harmless. Submit a report when you personally observed conduct that may violate the rules, choose the closest reason, and describe the incident accurately. Do not ask others to report a player merely because you lost a fight, disagreed with a strategy, or want to retaliate. False or bad-faith submissions make it harder to distinguish a genuine incident from noise.
What happens after you submit a report?
Embark says reports are reviewed and verified before any enforcement action. The review process means that submission alone does not tell you whether a sanction will follow, and the absence of an immediate visible response does not mean the report was ignored.
Possible sanctions can be temporary or permanent, depending on the severity of the conduct. In serious cases, enforcement may extend across Embark titles. Embark also says hardware bans can be issued; a hardware ban is described as final and non-appealable. The exact outcome depends on the evidence and the applicable policy, not on the number of reports submitted.

What you should not expect
- A report does not guarantee an instant kick or ban.
- You may not receive the other player’s private enforcement details.
- Blocking does not itself establish that the player violated a rule.
- Mute and block do not substitute for a report when Embark needs to investigate conduct.
When the abuse happens outside ARC Raiders
Embark says it does not moderate off-platform discussions or content. If the harassment occurs on a social-media site, messaging service, streaming chat, or another platform, use that platform’s own report, mute, and block tools. Include the relevant account name and the context requested by that service.
Keep the destinations separate: conduct inside ARC Raiders belongs in the in-game report flow, while conduct hosted elsewhere belongs with the service that controls it. If the same person violates rules in both places, report each incident to the platform where it occurred rather than putting off-platform material into an in-game report as if Embark could directly moderate it.
If you were banned by mistake
Use Embark Support’s official ban-appeal process rather than replying to another player’s report or trying to create a new account. The path is:
- Open the official Embark Support portal and sign in with your Embark ID.
- Click the chat bubble in the support interface.
- Choose Ban Appeals.
- Select In-Game Ban.
- Include the enforcement message and the relevant context for your appeal.
Embark’s fair-play information says every ban appeal is reviewed by a person on its team. Keep the appeal focused on the specific enforcement notice, explain any mistaken identification or account circumstances, and avoid submitting repeated versions of the same appeal.

Embark says its anti-cheat system combines Easy Anti-Cheat kernel-level protection with machine-learning models trained on a constant flow of player telemetry. It also says it is working with Anybrain and refining its systems to distinguish legitimate accessibility-device use from abuse.

This context explains why a player report should describe behavior rather than attempt to identify the detection method. Automated systems and human review can evaluate information that a player cannot see. Your role is to provide an accurate account of what happened; Embark’s systems and investigators determine whether it violates the rules.
Troubleshooting the social menu
The player is not in Recent
Return fully to the Lobby and open Social again. The report flow depends on the Recent list, so selecting a different social tab or an unrelated friend entry will not expose the same player-specific actions. If the encounter has just ended, the end-of-round name plate may provide the more direct route.
You cannot find Report, Mute, or Block
Select the player’s name or name plate, not the surrounding panel. The social update places the actions on the player-specific entry. On an end-of-round screen, use the on-screen platform prompt; the published notes do not define one universal key or button.

You are still hearing the player
Use the end-of-round name plate or the player’s social entry and choose Mute. Confirm that you selected the correct account and that the mute action completed before continuing. If the conduct also violates the enforcement policy, submit a report with a factual description after muting.
You blocked the wrong player
Stop and verify the displayed name before submitting a report. If you accidentally selected another player, do not describe that person in the report. Reopen the social list, select the correct account, and use the appropriate action there.
The form asks for a reason you cannot match exactly
Choose the closest available reason and explain the behavior in the description. The description is where you can add the missing context, such as repeated voice harassment combined with an attempted squad disruption. Do not force an unrelated category simply because it sounds more severe.
A practical reporting checklist
Use this checklist before submitting:
- Confirm that the selected name belongs to the player involved.
- Identify whether the conduct happened in-game or on another platform.
- Choose the closest reason shown by the report form.
- Describe observable actions, words, timing, and match context.
- Separate suspicion from certainty, especially for possible cheating.
- Mute immediately if voice communication is disrupting your ability to play.
- Block the account if you want to stop further contact.
- Submit one accurate report rather than encouraging mass reporting.
The most effective sequence for a serious in-game incident is therefore: mute to regain immediate control, report through Social > Recent with a concise description, and block when you do not want additional contact. Embark’s review determines whether enforcement is warranted.
