To rename a page in manual mode, open Pages, select the page’s … menu, choose Rename, enter the new title, and save. Then update the website to publish the change.
Rename a page in manual mode
- Open your website in the editor.
- Choose Pages on the left and find the page you want to rename.
- Click the … settings menu beside the page title.
- Select Rename, enter the new page title, and save.
- Update the website so the change appears on the published site.
These steps follow the controls described in the manual-mode rename instructions, marked updated six days before October 7, 2026.
What happens to the page URL?
The page URL updates automatically when you rename the page. The URL may use Latin characters in place of non-Latin characters. If you want to set the URL yourself, open Pages and navigation, click the page’s … menu, choose Page URL, edit the URL Slug, save, and update the website. This is separate from renaming the page.
Page name, menu visibility, and SEO details are separate
Menu visibility
Renaming a page does not hide it from the site menu. In the navigation panel, pages under Main navigation appear in the menu; pages under Hidden from navigation do not. A hidden page can still be reached by its URL and may still appear in search engines.
#1 Best Overall
- Durable. Writable. Repositionable
- Post-it Tabs create necessary order by allowing you to easily organize
- 6 different eye-catching colors allow you flexibility to organize by color
- Tabs are durable, you can write on them, and reposition as needed

SEO title and description
The page name is not the same setting as its SEO title or description. Edit those fields in SEO settings, then update the website. Search results may take a few days to a few weeks to reflect metadata changes; changing the page name alone does not edit those fields or guarantee an immediate search-result update.
If the new name is not showing online
Saving the new title in the editor is not the final publishing step: update the website afterward. The rename instructions include this step so the change appears on the published site.
