OpenCode’s documented CLI does not provide a dedicated delete-all command. To remove every session, list the sessions with opencode session list, then delete each one by its ID with opencode session delete <sessionID>. The documented operation is per session, so check the list carefully before deleting.
Delete sessions with the OpenCode CLI

Open a terminal in an environment where the
opencodecommand is available, then runopencode session list. This command lists sessions. For available output and count options, see the OpenCode CLI reference. -
Review the results and identify the session IDs you want to remove. If you need machine-readable output, run
opencode session list --format jsonand inspect the JSON produced by your installed version before using it in automation.Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy. -
Delete each intended session by substituting its ID:
opencode session delete <sessionID>. For example, replace<sessionID>with an actual ID from the list; do not type the angle-bracketed placeholder literally.#1 Best Overall

The documented CLI reference describes listing sessions and deleting an individual session, but does not document a dedicated bulk-delete command. The v2 command reference says its deletion example removes the session and its child sessions; the dev CLI reference does not specify whether deletion cascades. Check the v2 commands reference and documentation for your installed release before assuming child sessions will also be removed.
Automate deletion only after checking the output
The references reviewed do not provide a verified shell loop for deleting all sessions. If you write your own automation, first inspect opencode session list --format json on the version you use, confirm the exact session-ID field and which sessions the command returns, then pass only the intended IDs to the documented per-session delete command. A mismatch in JSON structure or session scope could make a script fail or delete sessions you meant to keep.

Use the server API for programmatic management
OpenCode’s server documentation describes GET /session for listing sessions and DELETE /session/:id for deleting a session and its data. The documented delete endpoint takes one session ID; it is not described as a bulk-delete endpoint. See the OpenCode server reference for the API details.
