To remove a sticker without deleting its event, select the date in Samsung Calendar and try touching and holding the sticker. Some users report that a minus control appears; if it does, tap it. This gesture is not confirmed as a universal or current Samsung procedure, so if no control appears, check the date overview’s sticker or smiley control instead.
Try the sticker’s own control first

Open Samsung Calendar and select the date showing the unwanted sticker.

Touch and hold the sticker itself. A Samsung Community user reported that a minus symbol appeared and allowed the sticker to be removed on that Calendar version. If you see the minus control, tap it. This is a community-reported gesture, not a guaranteed procedure for every device or app version. Samsung Community: “Stickers on my calendar”

If holding the sticker does not reveal a control, inspect the selected date overview for a sticker or smiley icon. A 2022 Samsung Community discussion mentions a smiley icon for managing date stickers, but does not establish a universal sticker-removal sequence. Treat it as a place to check, not a guaranteed fix. Make sure it is a sticker, not an event
Samsung Calendar can show stickers associated with a date or an event. Samsung’s One UI 6 feature information says users can add up to two stickers per date, and event stickers appear beside the event name in Month view. Those details explain why a sticker may look attached to a calendar entry, but they do not document how to remove one. Samsung: One UI 6 new features Samsung Mobile: device software update notes
Deleting an event is different from removing its sticker: it removes the event itself. Use Samsung’s event-deletion steps only if you intend to delete the event. Select the date, long-press or open the event, tap Delete, and confirm Move to Trash. Samsung says menu names and layouts can vary by model, software, and app version. If the calendar item remains, check its source
An item displayed in Samsung Calendar may come from a synced account rather than a calendar stored only on the phone. Samsung advises that events from services such as Gmail or Outlook may need to be hidden or deleted in the originating account. You can also uncheck a calendar or turn off its account under Manage calendar to hide that calendar’s events in Samsung Calendar; this affects the account’s entries broadly, not just one sticker. If the entry repeats, deleting one occurrence may not remove the whole series. When you intend to remove a repeating event entirely, Samsung’s guidance is to open the event, tap Delete, and choose All events in series. This deletes the series, not merely a sticker. Why the controls may look different
Samsung’s support guidance notes that Calendar menu names and layouts can vary by device model, software version, or app version. Regional guidance can also differ. An older Galaxy A51 manual shows a Calendar Stickers control, but does not document a sticker-removal procedure, so it should not be treated as current instructions for other devices.
