For an EVO tournament, choose the event pass on EVO’s official event page, select the game or games you want to enter, and finish the linked Start.gg registration before the published deadline. EVO Las Vegas 2026 used that process, but its registration window and June 26–28, 2026 event have ended. EVO currently lists Singapore 2027 as upcoming, yet its official listing does not provide a signup date or competition requirements, so wait for that event’s registration announcement before attempting to register.
Is registration still open?
Not for EVO Las Vegas 2026. The online registration period ended May 25, 2026, and the tournament was held June 26–28, 2026. The historical pass prices and dates published for that event are expired and should not be used as current pricing or as instructions for another EVO.
EVO’s events page lists Singapore 2027 as the next upcoming event in the supplied official information. It does not yet state when registration will open, which passes will be offered, how much tournament entry will cost, or which game-specific requirements will apply. Check the Singapore event page for a new registration announcement before paying for a pass or entering a game.
How do I register for an EVO tournament?
The Las Vegas 2026 registration flow had five practical stages. Future events may change the labels, dates, or requirements, so use the selected event’s page as the final authority.
#1 Best Overall
- Small Form Factor Fight Stick featuring an 8-button layout and 8ft. cable
- Great for both Arcade and Fighting Games
- Compact, lightweight and portable design
- Features Classic 8-Button Layout and HORI’s Original Joystick with V-cut Housing
- Officially Licensed by Sony
- Open the official EVO event page. Go to the Las Vegas registration page for the event you intend to attend and use its registration link. EVO routed the 2026 signup process to Start.gg rather than asking competitors to complete a separate tournament-provider registration.
- Choose an event pass. The pass selection controlled access to the event. For Las Vegas 2026, every pass included spectator access, while a three-day pass was required to enter competitions.
- Select your tournaments. Choose the game or games you plan to enter in the registration flow. Add-ons, where offered, were selected during the same process.
- Submit the online registration before the deadline. Review the event, pass, games, and add-ons, then complete checkout and any required confirmation in Start.gg. EVO’s rules say all participants must register online before online registration closes.
- Read the game rules and prepare your controller. Tournament rules can differ by game and event. EVO described Las Vegas 2026 as bring-your-own-controller, so plan to arrive with a compatible controller or arcade stick and verify the selected game’s rules before traveling.
Do I need a pass to compete at EVO?
For Las Vegas 2026, yes. A three-day pass was required for competition entry. EVO stated that all passes included spectator access, but spectator access alone did not replace the competition-eligible pass.
Do not assume that the same duration or pass names will apply to Singapore 2027 or another EVO. Wait for that event’s official registration page to state which pass permits tournament entry, whether passes cover one or several days, and whether any separate tournament fee is charged.
Can I enter more than one game?
The 2026 registration page allowed competitors to select the tournament or tournaments they planned to enter. That means the registration flow supported entering multiple games, subject to the event’s available lineup, capacity, scheduling, and fees.

Before selecting several games, check the event page and each game’s rules. A game lineup, entry limit, schedule, or add-on policy can change for a later event. If a future registration page does not show a game, do not rely on an old Las Vegas list; wait for the new lineup to be published.

- Turbo Function (unavailable on Switch).

- Upgradeable firmware.
What happens if I miss the registration deadline?
EVO’s tournament rules state that participants must register online before online registration closes. The rules also say entry after the registration period is not permitted except at the General Manager’s discretion. That exception is not a promise of late entry, so treat the posted deadline as final.
Set your own reminder before the cutoff rather than waiting until the final hour. A completed payment page, saved confirmation, or abandoned cart is not proof that registration succeeded; look for the event’s confirmation in your Start.gg account or confirmation email.
Can I create more than one registration?
No. EVO’s rules say each person should have only one registration. Do not submit a second entry to fix a spelling mistake, change a game, or try to reserve a place. First check whether the registration system provides an edit function or contact route for the event. Duplicate registrations can create account and check-in problems, and the rules do not authorize multiple entries for one person.
What should I bring to EVO?
Because EVO identified the Las Vegas tournament as bring-your-own-controller, a controller or arcade stick is the most important competition item to plan for. Confirm that your device is permitted for the specific game and event before packing it.

- Your registered account details: Keep the Start.gg account used for signup and the registration confirmation accessible. The official materials supplied here do not establish a separate identification list, so follow the event’s later check-in instructions when they are published.
- Your controller or arcade stick: Bring the device you intend to use, plus any required cable or adapter. Compatibility and permitted-device rules are game-specific; verify them on the event page rather than assuming a device will work.
- A record of your selected games: Save your confirmation so you can check which tournaments and add-ons you actually purchased.
- Travel and event information: Confirm the venue, dates, check-in instructions, and schedule on the current event page. Las Vegas 2026 details are historical and should not be treated as a template for Singapore 2027.
The available official information does not establish a universal list of cables, adapters, identification documents, accessibility items, or permitted controller modifications. Read the current event and game rules for those details.
Registration details to compare before choosing a future EVO
When a new event opens, compare these items on its official page. They are the practical differences that determine whether you can compete and what you will pay.
| Item | Las Vegas 2026 | Singapore 2027 in the available listing |
|---|---|---|
| Event dates | June 26–28, 2026 | Not stated |
| Registration deadline | May 25, 2026 | Not stated |
| Registration route | EVO event page linking to Start.gg | Not stated |
| Competition pass requirement | Three-day pass required | Not stated |
| Games and tournament selection | Selected during online registration | Not stated |
| Controller policy | Bring your own controller; consult game rules | Not stated |
| Late registration | Generally prohibited; General Manager discretion was the stated exception | Not stated |
| Refund and transfer policy | Tournament entry fees were non-refundable and non-transferable under the rules | Not stated |
| Pass prices | Historical amounts only; expired | Not stated |
“Not stated” means the supplied official listing had not published that item, not that the requirement does not exist. Recheck the event page when EVO opens registration.

EVO’s rules state that tournament entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Read the current terms before paying, because an event can publish additional conditions for passes, add-ons, cancellations, or schedule changes. Do not purchase a pass on the assumption that you can transfer it to another person or recover the tournament fee later.

- Compatible with Switch and Windows.
- Supports ultimate software - customize button mapping and create macros
- Dynamic button layout - button mapping changes with mode functionally and visually
- Ultra-moddable arcade stick - Universal mounting plate supports Sanwa arcade sticks
- Three ways to connect: Bluetooth, 2.4g and wired USB-C. The included 2.4g receiver has a special hidden compartment to store it safely.
The Las Vegas 2026 page included a fee table, but those amounts applied only to that completed event. They are not reliable estimates for Singapore 2027.
A reliable registration checklist
When the event page first appears
- Confirm that the page is the official EVO listing for the city and year you want.
- Record the event dates, venue, opening date, closing date, pass types, and game lineup.
- Read the tournament rules and the rules for every game you may enter.
During Start.gg registration
- Use one account and one registration for yourself.
- Select the pass that explicitly permits competition, not merely spectator access.
- Choose every intended game before completing checkout, and review add-ons carefully.
- Check the displayed deadline and time zone; do not infer it from a previous EVO.
After payment
- Save the confirmation email and your Start.gg registration page.
- Verify that your name, pass, and selected games are correct.
- Set a reminder for check-in and review any later schedule or venue notices.
- Test the controller you plan to bring and confirm that it meets the current game rules.
Troubleshooting common registration problems
The event does not appear in Start.gg
Return to the official EVO event page and use its registration link. Do not search for an unrelated listing and assume it is the official tournament. If EVO has not announced a registration window, there may simply be no active registration to find.
The page shows spectator access but no tournament option
Check whether you selected a competition-eligible pass. In Las Vegas 2026, spectator access was included with all passes, but the three-day pass was required for tournament entry. A future event may use different names, so follow its published description.

You need to change a selected game
Do not create a second registration. First look for an official edit or change procedure in the event’s registration instructions. If none is provided, use the event’s stated support channel and keep your original confirmation.

You are close to the deadline
Complete the online process immediately and verify that the registration confirmation is issued. Once the window closes, EVO’s rule is that late entry is not permitted unless the General Manager exercises discretion.
You are unsure whether your controller is legal
Read the selected game’s current rules and the event’s equipment policy. EVO’s bring-your-own-controller description means you should not assume that the venue will supply a compatible device.
When should you register?
Register as soon as the official event page publishes the opening date and the requirements you need. Early registration gives you time to resolve account or payment issues, confirm that every intended game is listed, and test your controller. The exact deadlines, prices, pass structure, and game lineup for Singapore 2027 remain unpublished in the available official listing, so there is no defensible date or price to use as a substitute.
The rule to remember
“All participants must register online before the close of online registration in order to participate in the tournament.”
That rule explains the safest approach: use the official EVO event page, complete the linked Start.gg registration before the stated deadline, keep only one registration, and follow the current pass and game rules for the event you actually plan to attend.
