If you bought and initially set up an eligible Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 or Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra in Japan during the campaign period, claim the LINEマンガ benefit in the Samsung Members app, then enter its code in LINEマンガ under 「マイメニュー」→「特典コード」. New LINEマンガ users can receive up to ¥2,000 in coins; existing users receive a ¥1,000 code.
You need a Samsung account, a free LINE account, Japan residency and an eligible domestic purchase. Codes are single-use, the campaign is first-come, first-served, and credited coins expire 30 days after they are added to your LINEマンガ account.
Who can claim the Galaxy Z Fold8 LINEマンガ coins?
The promotion is for a newly purchased Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 or Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra bought through an eligible Japanese sales channel. Eligible channels include participating Japanese carrier shops, including their online shops; electronics retailers; EC shops; Samsung’s Japanese online shop; Galaxy Harajuku; and Galaxy Studio Osaka.

The device must be a domestic Japanese unit. Used phones and parallel-import devices are excluded. You must also be a resident of Japan, and each eligible device can receive the benefit only once.

Purchase and setup period
The campaign purchase period runs from October 15, 2026, at 00:00 through February 28, 2027, at 23:59. Samsung uses the device’s initial setup date when determining purchase eligibility, so complete the first setup during that period rather than leaving a newly bought phone unopened until later.
What each LINEマンガ user receives
| LINEマンガ status | Benefit | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| New LINEマンガ user | Up to ¥2,000 in LINEマンガ coins | A free LINE account and a qualifying device |
| Existing LINEマンガ user | ¥1,000 in LINEマンガ coins | A free LINE account and a qualifying device |
The larger amount is specifically for a new LINEマンガ user. Installing the app for the first time does not by itself change an account’s existing-user status; the campaign distinguishes between new and existing LINEマンガ users.
Deadlines you must track
There are several separate dates. Treat the earliest applicable deadline as the one that matters for your own claim.

| Individual coin validity | 30 days after the code is entered and the coins are credited |
The 30-day rule applies to the coins actually credited to your LINEマンガ account. It is different from the campaign’s code-receipt and exchange/use windows. Do not wait until the end of the campaign: obtain the code by March 14, enter it while the campaign allows exchanges, and use the credited coins within 30 days of credit.
Samsung says the campaign is first-come, first-served and may end when the planned quantity is exhausted. Samsung may also change the dates or benefit contents without notice, so check the current campaign notice in Samsung Members if a date appears different.
Step-by-step: redeem the code in Japan
- Buy an eligible device. Purchase a new Galaxy Z Fold8 or Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra through an eligible Japanese carrier, retailer, EC shop, Samsung’s Japanese online shop, Galaxy Harajuku or Galaxy Studio Osaka. Do not rely on a used or parallel-import unit.
- Complete the initial setup during the purchase period. The qualifying setup window is October 15, 2026, through February 28, 2027, inclusive of the stated start and end times. Sign in and finish the phone’s first setup so Samsung can associate the device with the campaign.
- Open Samsung Members. Use the preinstalled Samsung Members app and sign in with your Samsung account. A Samsung account is required to obtain the benefit code.
- Open the Benefits area. In Samsung Members, tap 「特典」 (Benefits), then select the Galaxy Z Fold8 campaign banner.
- Download the benefit code. Follow the campaign screen to download or display the code. Samsung says that a newly set-up device may need about one week before the banner appears. If the banner is missing or an error appears, wait about a week and try again.
- Open or install LINEマンガ. Sign in with the free LINE account you intend to use for the coins. Use the account carefully: a code is single-use and the user category affects whether the value is up to ¥2,000 or ¥1,000.
- Open the code-entry screen. In LINEマンガ, go to 「マイメニュー」 (My Menu), then tap 「特典コード」 (Benefit code).
- Enter the Samsung Members code. Type or paste the code exactly as displayed, submit it, and check that the coins are credited to the same LINEマンガ account.
- Use the coins before they expire. The coins remain valid for 30 days from the time they are credited. Record that credit date so you do not confuse it with the later campaign end date.
What to do when the Samsung Members banner is missing
A missing banner immediately after setup does not necessarily mean the phone is ineligible. Samsung instructs customers to wait about one week and retry if the campaign banner is absent or an error is shown.
- Confirm that you finished the phone’s initial setup and are signed in to the intended Samsung account.
- Open Samsung Members and return to 「特典」 after the waiting period rather than looking only in general notifications.
- Check that the device was purchased through an eligible Japanese channel and is not used or parallel-imported.
- Verify that the initial setup date falls within October 15, 2026, 00:00 and February 28, 2027, 23:59.
- If the campaign has reached its planned quantity or Samsung has changed the campaign notice, the banner or its terms may no longer match the original offer.
Keep your purchase records and device information available if Samsung support asks you to verify the sales channel or setup date. Do not attempt to obtain a second code for the same device; the benefit is limited to one claim per eligible device.

LINEマンガ code-entry problems and their causes
The code is rejected
Recheck every character and enter the code in LINEマンガ’s 「マイメニュー」→「特典コード」 screen. A code can be used only once. If it was already submitted successfully, entering it again will not create another credit.
The amount is ¥1,000 instead of ¥2,000
The ¥2,000 maximum is reserved for a new LINEマンガ user. Existing LINEマンガ users receive a ¥1,000 code under the campaign. The amount is tied to LINEマンガ user status, not merely to whether the app was installed on the new phone.
The code cannot be obtained
First check Samsung Members, the Samsung account sign-in and the one-week delay after initial setup. Then check the purchase channel, domestic-device requirement, Japan residency and campaign dates. A phone bought outside the eligible Japanese channels, a used unit or a parallel import does not qualify.

The coins disappeared or can no longer be used
Samsung Newsroom Japan states that LINEマンガ coins are valid for 30 days after the benefit code is entered and the coins are credited. The campaign also lists October 15, 2027, at 23:59 as the end of its stated exchange/use window. Because the personal 30-day period can end sooner, use the coins within 30 days of credit rather than waiting for the campaign’s final date.
The offer is no longer visible
The promotion is first-come, first-served and may stop when the planned quantity is exhausted. Samsung also reserves the right to change dates or contents without notice. A current notice in Samsung Members is the appropriate place to confirm whether the campaign remains available.

The timeline has three actions, each with a different clock:
Best Value
- SPLIT THE VIEW. MULTITASK¹ TO THE MAX: Productivity never felt this powerful. Use up to three apps¹ at once on the expansive inner screen of Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. You’ll enjoy plenty of space to work, play, connect and more.
- MULTITASKING MADE SMARTER WITH AI: Stay one step ahead with AI² that suggests which apps you might need next. Then view those multiple windows side by side on the large screen of your Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.
- ANY SHOT, ALL THE DETAILS: Dive into the details of any image with our best camera on a foldable smartphone. Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra boasts a 200MP camera — and an upgraded 50MP Ultra Wide lens — for both stunning wide shots and extreme close-ups.
- ELITE CHIPSET. FLUID GRAPHICS: Experience what’s possible with our most advanced Galaxy Z Series processor. From immersive gaming and speedy multitasking to the latest Galaxy AI³ features, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 keeps everything running seamlessly.
- THE BATTERY YOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR: It’s the battery you’ve been wanting in a foldable cell phone. Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra packs a powerful ultra-sized⁴ battery in an ultra-slim design. Plus, with Super Fast Charging 2.0⁵, charge up faster than ever before.
- Qualify the phone: buy and initially set up the eligible model during the October 15, 2026–February 28, 2027 purchase period.
- Get the code: open the Samsung Members benefit by March 14, 2027, at 23:59. Samsung’s stated receipt period ends then.
- Convert and spend the benefit: enter the code during the campaign’s stated exchange/use window, then spend the credited LINEマンガ coins within 30 days after credit.
This distinction matters if you buy near the end of the purchase period. A qualifying setup on February 28, 2027, may still leave time to receive the code by March 14, but the one-week Samsung Members delay and the first-come, first-served limit make early setup and redemption safer.
Japan residency, account and device checks
Before starting, confirm all of the following:
- You reside in Japan.
- The phone is a new Galaxy Z Fold8 or Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra intended for the Japanese market.
- The purchase was made through an eligible Japanese carrier shop, electronics retailer, EC shop, Samsung Japanese online shop, Galaxy Harajuku or Galaxy Studio Osaka.
- The initial setup date is inside the campaign purchase period.
- You can sign in to a Samsung account in Samsung Members.
- You have a free LINE account for LINEマンガ.
- You have not already claimed the promotion for that device.
These checks address the most common eligibility differences: a domestic retail purchase is not the same as a parallel import, and owning the right model is not enough if the setup date or sales channel falls outside the campaign terms.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDo not confuse this offer with Samsung’s separate X giveaway
Samsung also announced a separate promotion on X. That giveaway offers one Galaxy Z Fold8 with a Clear Magnet Case to one winner and LINEマンガ codes to 300 winners. It is not the purchase-based Samsung Members redemption described above.
The Clear Magnet Case is therefore not required to claim the Galaxy Z Fold8 promotional coins. Buying or owning that accessory does not replace the eligible-device purchase, Samsung Members code download or LINEマンガ code-entry steps.
