To redeem a code in Start Your Blue Lock Career on Roblox, enter the experience, open Settings with the cogwheel, paste or type the code into the code field, and select Redeem. The official experience description identifies Settings as the redemption path.
These are in-game codes, not codes redeemed on the general Roblox website. Use the exact game title so you do not open a different Blue Lock experience with a separate code system.
What you need before entering a code
The procedure is short, but three checks prevent most failed attempts.
- Open the correct experience: The instructions apply to Start Your Blue Lock Career on Roblox. Other experiences with “Blue Lock” in their names may use different menus and codes.
- Use the Roblox account that should receive the reward: The reward is claimed from the account currently playing the experience.
- Reach the main game screen: Current walkthroughs from Destructoid and Pocket Tactics tell players to complete or skip the tutorial before opening the redemption controls. How to redeem a Start Your Blue Lock Career code
1. Launch the exact Roblox experience
- Open Roblox and search for Start Your Blue Lock Career.
- Check the title before joining. A similarly named Blue Lock game can have a different developer, interface, and code system.
- Join the experience and wait until the main game interface is visible.
The official Roblox experience description is the strongest identity check for this procedure. It identifies the game as the one whose description says, “Redeem codes through the Settings menu!”
2. Complete or skip the tutorial if it appears
Some players are placed in an introductory sequence before they can see the normal controls. Follow the on-screen option to complete the tutorial, or choose a skip option if the game offers one. Two current walkthroughs describe reaching the main game first, while the official description does not explicitly say that tutorial completion unlocks codes. If your game already shows the normal interface, continue without looking for a tutorial control.
3. Open Settings
- Look for the cogwheel icon.
- Current walkthroughs place the gear icon at the bottom-left of the screen, but Roblox interfaces can vary by device, display size, or later game updates.
- Select the cogwheel to open Settings.
If you do not see a gear in the lower-left corner, scan the other edges of the game interface for the same cogwheel symbol rather than opening Roblox’s account settings. The relevant menu is the experience’s own Settings panel.

4. Find the code field
Inside Settings, look for a text box labelled Enter Code or REDEEM A CODE. The wording can differ between interface versions, but the purpose is the same: it is the field for an experience code.

Click or tap the field, then type the code exactly as supplied. You can also copy and paste it. Copy-and-paste is usually safer for long strings because it reduces transcription errors, but check that no unwanted space was added at the beginning or end.
5. Select Redeem
Press the Redeem button after the code is in the field. This is the claim action; merely typing a code does not apply it. Watch for the game’s confirmation, error, or reward response before closing Settings.
6. Follow a save-slot prompt if one appears
Pocket Tactics reports that the game may ask you to select the save slot that should receive the reward. The official description does not mention save slots, so do not assume that every player will see this prompt. If it appears, choose the intended slot and confirm. If it does not appear, the game’s normal account or profile handling determines where the reward goes.

Check the exact spelling and characters
Compare the code in the field with the code as published. Roblox Support advises entering promo codes accurately; that practical advice also applies when checking an experience-specific code. Pay attention to letters that look alike, numbers, underscores, and repeated characters. If possible, copy the code instead of retyping it, then inspect the pasted result before pressing Redeem.
The reviewed official game description does not state whether codes are case-sensitive. Do not change capitalization as a troubleshooting “fix”; first reproduce the code exactly as it was provided.
Confirm that you used the in-game field
Roblox has a separate website flow for platform promo codes. That is not the same as the Settings field in Start Your Blue Lock Career. A code intended for this experience should be entered through its in-game cogwheel and Settings menu. Conversely, an ordinary Roblox promo code may not work in the experience’s field.

Verify the Roblox account and experience
Make sure you are signed in to the account that should receive the reward and that you are currently inside Start Your Blue Lock Career. Roblox Support’s account guidance is written for Roblox promo codes generally, but checking the account is still a sensible safeguard for any reward claim. If you switched accounts or joined a different game tab, close the incorrect session and repeat the process in the intended experience.

Consider expiration
Roblox Support notes that promo codes can be available only for a limited period and cannot be redeemed after their time frame ends. Experience-specific codes can change as well. A code that worked earlier may stop working without any change to your Settings procedure. If the spelling, account, and game are correct but redemption still fails, the code may no longer be active.
Read the game’s response before retrying
Do not repeatedly submit a code without checking the message shown by the game. A confirmation indicates that the claim step completed; an error may point to an invalid, expired, or already-used code. The available sources do not establish a universal set of error-message meanings for this experience, so use the wording displayed in your current client rather than assuming that every message has the same cause.
Restart only after the basic checks
If the Settings panel is missing, appears blank, or stops responding, leave the experience and join it again. This can refresh a partially loaded interface. Restarting cannot make an expired code valid, so perform the text and availability checks first.
Are any codes currently active?
Code status is volatile and should be treated separately from the redemption method. Destructoid’s October 13, 2026 update listed INFINITEUPDATE as active. Pocket Tactics’ October 13 list also included INFINITEUPDATE among a broader group of codes. Those are third-party tracker reports, not a developer guarantee that the code will work for every account when you read this guide.

If you are checking a code list, record the date of the list and test the code in the game promptly. A tracker can differ from another tracker because lists are updated at different times or contain different coverage. Do not treat inclusion on a list as proof that a code has unlimited duration, that every account is eligible, or that its reward is unchanged.

Whichever method you choose, inspect the field once before selecting Redeem. The practical choice is accuracy, not speed.
Device and interface differences
The underlying path is the same on Roblox-supported devices: open the experience’s Settings menu, enter the code, and redeem it. The location of the cogwheel and the size of the code field can differ on a phone, tablet, computer, or console display. Current walkthroughs describe the gear icon as being at the bottom-left, but that placement is not a permanent Roblox rule.

- On a computer, click the field and use the clipboard carefully; clicking outside the panel can close or change focus.
- On a smaller display, look for a scrollable Settings panel if the code box is below the first group of options.
- If the interface looks unlike the walkthroughs, trust the labels Settings, Enter Code, REDEEM A CODE, and Redeem more than a fixed icon position.
The reviewed sources do not confirm that codes can be entered during a match, nor do they document a case-sensitivity rule. The safest approach is to return to the ordinary game interface and use the documented Settings path.
How to avoid common mistakes
- Joining the wrong game: Search results can contain multiple Blue Lock experiences. Verify the complete title before entering a code.
- Looking on the Roblox website: This experience uses an in-game Settings field, not the general platform promo-code page.
