If you expected the code to reduce a subscription or pre-order, it will not work for that purpose: PlayStation says discount codes do not apply to subscription services or pre-orders. If you expected to use the same code for several separate purchases, that is also not supported. PlayStation says a discount code cannot be used for multiple purchases. Check those conditions before repeatedly trying to apply the code.
First identify which kind of code or offer you have

PlayStation Plus promotions are another category: an offer may be tied to a subscription plan or other digital content, and its availability can depend on location and subscriber status. This comparison also helps answer a common question: a code that is the wrong length is not necessarily a faulty code. A 12-digit voucher is simply not the same product as a 10-digit discount code, so do not put it in the cart discount-code field. Conversely, the fact that you have PlayStation Plus does not turn a voucher into a discount code or make a discount code valid for an excluded purchase type.

That means there is no single redemption instruction that applies to every Plus benefit. Check the offer itself: what it covers, which Store or country it applies to, whether it is time-limited, and which subscriber status it names. If the discount does not appear
Work through the type of code or offer first, then check its restrictions. A mismatch between the code and the checkout flow, an excluded purchase, or regional offer conditions can explain why an expected reduction is not showing.
- Check the code length. A 10-digit code is the discount-code type used in the cart. A 12-digit voucher follows a different redemption flow. PlayStation’s voucher-code troubleshooting guidance distinguishes voucher problems from the cart-based discount-code process.
- Check the cart against the offer. Discount codes do not apply to subscriptions or pre-orders. Make sure the items in the purchase are eligible under the code’s terms. If the whole cart is not covered, do not assume the code applies to every item just because one item appears relevant.
