Bluehost AI Store’s Catalog Health report is a diagnostic dashboard for finding listing and store-readiness issues—not a published sales, search-ranking, or channel-approval score. Find it under AI Insights → Agent Reports → Catalog Health Agent. Use its Sellability, Discovery, and Operations findings alongside the prioritized tasks in AI Insights → Action Plan to decide what to fix.
What Catalog Health shows
Bluehost describes Catalog Health as an ongoing analysis of an online store by multiple AI agents. In AI Insights, the Coordinator Agent summarizes findings as store-wide tasks; the Catalog Health Agent presents a more detailed report with an overall score, product-readiness groups, performance bars, and item-level recommendations. Bluehost’s Catalog Health guide, updated August 20, 2026, identifies three dimensions:
- Sellability: Whether product information supports a usable, publishable listing. Examples of suggested fixes include adding a valid price or updating a description.
- Discovery: Listing completeness and organization, including product descriptions and category assignments.
- Operations: Operational readiness, such as SKU details and whether products can synchronize with sales channels.
The report also groups products under “Ready to Sell,” “Ready to Rank,” and “Ready to Sync.” Bluehost’s guide names these as separate readiness labels but does not publish the exact criteria for earning each one. Treat them as dashboard statuses, not as a promise that a product will be accepted by a marketplace or rank in search.
Where to find the report
- Sign in to the Bluehost Portal and open Websites.
- Find the relevant Sell Online plan and choose Manage Store.
- In the store dashboard, select AI Insights.
- Open Agent Reports, expand Catalog Health Agent, and review the score, readiness counts, performance bars, and item-level actions.
For prioritized store-wide work, open AI Insights → Action Plan. Bluehost groups tasks into Do Today, Do This Week, and Improve When Possible. Catalog-tagged tasks can point to structural issues affecting multiple products; the Agent Reports view is where Bluehost directs users to inspect detailed metrics and individual product issues. Interface labels may change.

How to prioritize the findings
Use the Action Plan’s timing categories and the item-level severity labels—CRITICAL, HIGH, MEDIUM, and LOW—as prioritization cues. Bluehost does not document a universal fix order beyond these cues. A practical approach is to address critical publishing blockers and missing essentials first, then handle lower-severity discovery or operational improvements.

- Severity: Is the issue marked critical, high, medium, or low?
- Scope: Does it affect one product, or does a Catalog-tagged task suggest a structural issue across many listings?
- Channel: Is a particular destination affected, such as Google Shopping, Meta, or Amazon?
- Effort: How much work will the correction take in your store? This depends on your catalog and is not a dashboard-provided estimate.
After changing a listing, check the product and affected channel directly. The dashboard identifies issues to investigate; the right correction depends on the product and the channel’s requirements.

- Price or description: Check that the price is valid and the description is current and complete enough for the listing.
- Category: Review the product’s category assignment if the report flags discovery or organization.
- SKU: Check whether the product needs a SKU and whether its value is present and correct. Bluehost’s product-management guide documents SKU, barcode, and inventory fields in its product create, edit, and delete instructions, updated August 14, 2026.
- Channel listing or synchronization: If a product is not listing on Google Shopping, Meta, or Amazon, verify the product details and the affected channel’s requirements rather than assuming the health score explains the entire problem.
- Pricing-monitor alert: Inspect the specific alert and product context before changing a price.
- Imagery or other product details: Bluehost’s AI Store Insights guide, updated August 30, 2026, says the Catalog Health Agent monitors product details, SKUs, and imagery. Review the flagged item itself to determine what needs attention.
What the score can—and cannot—tell you
Use the overall score as a diagnostic summary and work queue. The official documentation reviewed here does not disclose its formula, the weighting of Sellability, Discovery, and Operations, or a guaranteed refresh schedule. An agent last-run timestamp may appear in Insights, but that is not a service guarantee about when the report will refresh.

Bluehost’s documentation also does not establish that raising the score causes higher sales, better search positions, or channel acceptance. The Agent Reports guide uses an illustrative score dial and sample alert display; those examples are interface illustrations, not measured results. Treat an alert as a prompt to inspect a product, not as proof of a particular business outcome.

SKU, barcode, and inventory fields are part of Bluehost’s product-management tools. A barcode scanner may suit a merchant who already manages physical inventory with barcode-based records, but the cited Bluehost material does not say that a scanner integrates with AI Store or changes Catalog Health. Similarly, photography or shipping equipment may be useful in a particular store workflow, but neither is a core requirement for understanding this report.
