Check photo access if a picture is missing
If the picture does not appear in Facebook’s picker, check Facebook’s photo or media access in Android settings. Menu names and permission options vary by software version; on supported systems, access may be limited to selected photos. Facebook needs access to the device photos you want to share. Facebook’s photo-sharing help explains the permission requirement.

Protect privacy and preserve upload quality
Confirm who can see the post
Before tapping Post, review the audience selector in the composer. It controls who can see the post, so do not assume the setting is the one you want. Facebook’s sharing guidance explains the audience control.
Remove location details when needed
Some photos can include stored location details. If you do not want to share them, Samsung documents how to review image details and remove location information in its Gallery app guide. The available controls and how metadata is handled can differ by device and sharing flow.
