As of October 11, 2026, Epic Seven is not yet available as a full Steam release. You can install the free Steam demo now; the Steam listing gives the full game a planned release date of October 29, 2026. The demo is a temporary preview: its character data will be reset and will not carry into the full service.
Steam requires a STOVE third-party account and supports linking that account to Steam. If you already play with an Epic Seven email or Simple Login account, use the official transfer procedure to move it to Simple Login (Steam) before you invest time in the Steam version. This guide explains what to install, which progress is temporary, how the account transition is described by the publisher, and what your PC must provide.
Epic Seven on Steam: current release status
The release state matters because the steps differ between the demo and the full game. The Steam demo is listed as released on October 8, 2026 and is available to install. The separate full-game listing currently says Planned Release Date: 29 Oct, 2026 and shows the game as not yet available. The full release is listed as free to play.

Launch timing, availability by country or server region, and account-transfer screens can change. Check the live Steam listing and the current official Epic Seven account FAQ when you install the full game.

What you need before installing
A Steam account and a STOVE account
The Steam listing states: “Requires 3rd-Party Account: STOVE (Supports Linking to Steam Account).” In practical terms, installing through Steam does not remove the STOVE account requirement. You will need to complete the STOVE sign-in or account-creation step presented when you start the game, then link it to your Steam account through the supported flow.
The correct expectation about the demo
The demo is for trying the Steam build and its separate events, not for creating permanent launch progress. Demo character data is explicitly scheduled to reset when full service begins. Demo events run separately from the full service, and the demo excludes content including Guild War and World Arena. Do not spend money or make long-term account decisions on the assumption that a demo roster, event result, or progression level will survive the reset.
A compatible Windows PC
The Steam listing publishes Windows requirements rather than a macOS or Linux target. The listed minimum and recommended configurations are below. They were published before the planned launch, so recheck the listing at release.

- Open Steam and search for the official Epic Seven Demo page.
- On the demo page, select Install Demo. Steam will choose the library location and begin downloading the preview.
- Wait for the installation to finish, then launch the demo from your Steam library.
- Complete the STOVE account requirement shown at first launch. If you already have a STOVE identity, sign in to it; otherwise follow the account-creation flow presented by the game.
- When Steam and STOVE linking is offered, use the account you intend to keep. Avoid creating a second STOVE identity just to get past the first screen, because progress placed on the wrong identity may not be the progress you want at full launch.
- Play the demo with the reset policy in mind. Demo characters and event progress are temporary, and the demo does not include every mode.
What the demo is useful for
- Checking that your Windows PC can install and run the Steam build.
- Learning the opening controls and interface before the full service starts.
- Confirming that Steam can reach the STOVE sign-in and linking flow on your network.
- Deciding whether the PC version fits your preferred way to play.
What the demo cannot prove
- It cannot prove that a demo character or event result will transfer; the listing says those data reset.
- It cannot show every full-service mode. Guild War and World Arena are specifically excluded from the demo.
- It cannot guarantee the final launch date or final system requirements, both of which can change before release.
Move an existing Epic Seven account to Steam
Do not assume that signing into Steam will automatically load an existing Epic Seven save. The official Steam FAQ says that existing email accounts and Simple Login accounts can be transferred to a Simple Login (Steam) account. The announcement excerpt says the transfer can be completed at any time and does not require a separate application window.
Which existing accounts are covered
The stated transfer path covers players using an Epic Seven email account or a Simple Login (SNS) account. The destination is described as Simple Login (Steam), which is the identity used for the Steam-linked service. The announcement also says that an account transferred this way remains usable in the STOVE PC client and the mobile version.
Use the live account-linking FAQ, not an improvised menu path
The detailed account-linking FAQ is the authority for the exact buttons and fields. Interface labels can change, and the accessible announcement excerpt does not document a reliable click-by-click path. Open the current official FAQ, identify the procedure for your account type, and complete that procedure before starting a new Steam game.

Do not create a fresh Steam-linked account first and then expect the old save to merge automatically. Account transfers and account creation are different actions; follow the FAQ’s order so that the intended account is the one attached to Simple Login (Steam).

Verify the result in game
- Finish the official transfer procedure while signed in to the account that contains your existing progress.
- Start Epic Seven through Steam after the transfer is complete.
- Check the account identity and the server or world shown in game before spending time, currency, or money.
- If the expected account or server is not shown, stop rather than beginning a second progression path. Return to the account FAQ and the official support route with the account details you used.
The published pages do not document a dedicated verification screen, so treat the in-game identity and server/world display as a practical check rather than a promised feature.
Install the full Steam game when it releases
Until the planned October 29, 2026 date arrives, the full Steam listing may continue to show the game as unavailable. Once Steam changes the listing to available, use its normal install control rather than trying to turn the demo into the full installation.
- Open the official Epic Seven full-game listing in Steam and confirm that the release state says available.
- Select the install or download control and choose the Steam library where you have at least the published storage requirement available.
- Allow Steam to download and validate the game files.
- Launch Epic Seven from the Steam library.
- Complete the STOVE sign-in and Steam-linking step.
- If you are an existing player, use the account-transfer process described in the current official FAQ rather than starting a separate account.
- Confirm the intended account and server/world in game before making purchases or committing to a long session.
The Steam listing identifies the full game as free to play. That describes distribution; it does not change the STOVE account requirement or the need to meet the PC specifications.

These are the specifications published on the Steam full-game listing. “Minimum” is the publisher’s baseline configuration; “recommended” is the higher configuration it lists. Both rows specify 10 GB of available storage. Because the figures were posted before the planned launch, compare them with the live listing when you install.

How to interpret the requirements
- 64-bit Windows: The listing does not describe a 32-bit Windows option. Confirm that your installed Windows edition is 64-bit.
- Processor tiers: “Intel i5 or higher” and “Intel i7 or higher” are broad labels, not a single model number. A newer processor with a different name may not map directly to the label, so use the live listing and your PC manufacturer’s specifications when in doubt.
- Graphics tiers: The listed GTX models are the stated reference points. Integrated graphics are not identified as supported by the listing.
- Storage: Keep at least the stated 10 GB free before installing. Updates can require additional temporary space even when the published installed size is 10 GB.
- DirectX: DirectX 11 is listed for both configurations. Windows normally includes DirectX components, but a current Windows installation and graphics driver reduce avoidable launch errors.
Steam or the STOVE PC client?
Existing players may choose between launching through Steam and using the direct STOVE PC client. The documented difference is access and account handling, not a proven difference in game content or performance. The available material does not establish that one client runs faster, includes more modes, or provides different graphics.

STOVE PC client installation route
Use this route only if you choose the direct STOVE client rather than Steam:
- Download and install the STOVE PC Client from the official STOVE service.
- Open the client through the website’s Game Start button or through the desktop icon.
- Choose Install Game for Epic Seven.
- Accept the EULA and allow the client to finish installing the game.
- Select Play when installation completes.
These client steps do not replace the Steam account-linking process. If your goal is Steam access, follow the Steam listing and the current account FAQ instead.
Common problems and safe fixes
The full game still says “not available”
Before October 29, 2026, that status is consistent with the planned release shown on the listing checked October 11. Confirm the date and listing status rather than repeatedly reinstalling the demo. A planned date is not a guarantee that the store page will change at a particular hour or in every region.

The demo opens but your old save is missing
Do not treat the demo as proof that your existing account transfer failed. Demo character data is temporary, and the full-service account flow is separate. Complete the official transfer procedure for your email or Simple Login account, then check the full game after launch.
You signed into the wrong STOVE identity
Stop before building progress on that identity. Record which email, Simple Login method, and Steam account you used, sign out, and return to the official account-linking instructions. Creating multiple test accounts can make it harder to identify which account contains your original progress.
The wrong server or world appears
Do not purchase items or continue for hours until the account and server/world are correct. The published guidance does not promise an in-game verification screen, so use the information displayed after login and consult the official support path if it does not match your intended account.
The installer reports insufficient storage
Free at least the listed 10 GB and leave additional working room for Steam’s download and validation process. If the drive still lacks space, move the Steam library or select another drive with sufficient capacity before starting the download.
Your PC is below the listed graphics or memory tier
The listing provides minimum and recommended configurations but does not promise performance below minimum. Check your Windows system information and graphics model against the table before troubleshooting the account. If the hardware is below the published baseline, upgrading or using another compatible PC is more reliable than assuming a setting change will compensate.
First-session checklist
- Confirm whether you are installing the temporary demo or the full release.
- Use the Steam account you intend to keep connected to STOVE.
- For an existing email or Simple Login account, complete the official transfer to Simple Login (Steam) before starting a new progression path.
- Remember that demo characters and events reset and do not transfer.
- Check the account identity and server/world immediately after login.
- Verify 64-bit Windows 10 or later, the required processor and graphics tier, DirectX 11, and at least 10 GB of free storage.
- Recheck the Steam listing and account FAQ at launch because the date, requirements, and interface instructions were published before the full service began.
Bottom line
Install the Steam demo now only as a temporary preview. For permanent play, wait for the full listing to become available, use the STOVE-to-Steam linking flow, and transfer an existing email or Simple Login account through the official FAQ before you start. Verify the account and server/world in game, and compare your PC with the published Windows, hardware, DirectX, and storage requirements.
