The Bing Homepage Quiz is linked to Bing’s daily homepage image. It is designed to help you learn about the subject shown in the image, but it is not automatically a Microsoft Rewards activity every time it appears.
If your goal is to earn points, use the Microsoft Rewards dashboard and look for a quiz or Daily Set activity there. The tile shown in your account—not a fixed number quoted online—determines whether the quiz awards points and how many.
How to open the Bing Homepage Quiz
- Go to Bing.com in a desktop browser.
- Move the pointer below the search box. The daily homepage information area should become visible.
- Click the image headline or the image credit/information link.
- Look for the quiz or related questions on the image information page.
The exact layout can change. Microsoft does not promise one universal button label, question count, or quiz format. On mobile, the image information and quiz may appear in a different location—or may not be available for your device, account, or region.
If you do not see the feature, first open the full Bing homepage rather than a search-results page, then check that your browser has loaded the current daily image. Bing features are not available in every country or region.

How to play it
- Read the information connected with the homepage image.
- Open the quiz when it is offered.
- Select the answer for each question.
- Submit the answers using the control shown on the page.
- Review the result and any completion message.
Some quizzes are primarily informational. Do not assume that an incorrect answer will receive the same reward as a correct one, or that every quiz has the same number of questions. Microsoft has not published a universal scoring rule for the homepage quiz.
How to check whether the quiz earns Microsoft Rewards points
The dependable way to identify a reward-bearing activity is to check your Rewards account:
- Open rewards.bing.com.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account that should receive the points.
- Review the Daily Set and the other earning activity tiles.
- Open the quiz or activity displayed there.
- Complete it and check whether the tile changes to a completed state.
- Check your points balance. If Microsoft asks you to claim the points, select the claim control.
Microsoft’s support documentation distinguishes between the Bing homepage and Microsoft Rewards activities. A quiz visible on Bing may simply provide information about the daily image. A quiz listed as an earning activity in your Rewards dashboard is the one to treat as a qualifying offer.

The value shown on your Rewards activity tile is the authoritative value for your account. Offers can differ according to:
- Country or region
- Microsoft account
- Current promotion
- The specific quiz or activity
- Daily limits and applicable Rewards terms
Microsoft Rewards points have no cash value. Depending on what is available in your region, you may redeem points for gift cards, sweepstakes entries, donations, or other products shown on the Redeem page. Completing a quiz does not itself guarantee a sweepstakes entry, cash payment, or prize.
Homepage Quiz versus Daily Set

Microsoft’s current Rewards information uses the membership names Member, Silver, and Gold. Some older support pages still refer to Level 1 and Level 2, so older point-limit articles may not describe the current dashboard or your region accurately.

What to do when the quiz is missing
Work through these checks:
- Use Bing’s homepage: The quiz may not be visible from a normal search-results page.
- Check Rewards separately: Visit
rewards.bing.comto see whether an equivalent activity is listed there. - Confirm the account: Sign out and back in if the browser is using a different Microsoft account.
- Check availability: Microsoft features and earning methods vary by country and region.
- Try a normal browser session: Temporarily test without extensions that block scripts, cookies, or page content.
- Wait for the next daily update: An activity may already be completed, expired, or no longer active.
Changing your location with a VPN is not a safe workaround. Microsoft’s Services Agreement prohibits using technology to mask geographic location for Rewards purposes and says this can lead to account cancellation and loss of points.

Quiz completed, but the points are missing
Completing a page does not always mean that points will appear instantly. Check the following:
- Verify that the signed-in Microsoft account is the one you intended to use.
- Return to the Rewards dashboard and inspect the activity tile.
- Look for a separate Claim action.
- Confirm that you completed a Rewards-listed activity, not only the general Bing homepage quiz.
- Disable a VPN or proxy and retry from your normal region.
- Refresh the dashboard and allow time for the balance to synchronize.
Other causes can include browser/account synchronization problems, regional mismatches, Give Mode, an activity that has reached its limit, or an offer that was not credited correctly. If the activity remains incomplete or the balance is wrong, use Microsoft Rewards Support rather than repeatedly submitting the quiz.
Keeping a Daily Set streak
If the quiz is part of your Daily Set, completion should be reflected by a green checkmark. A missed day, a changed device time zone, a VPN, or signing into another account can cause a streak to reset.
Microsoft also offers Streak protection in supported accounts. On desktop, enable it from the toggle next to Streak protection on the Rewards dashboard. On mobile, Microsoft says the toggle is next to Daily set. The feature provides 14 protection days when enabled. These days are renewed each calendar year, cannot be purchased or earned, and cannot be replenished after they are used during that year.

Do not automate Bing Rewards activity
Do not use bots, macros, scripts, automated searches, or meaningless repeated queries to increase your balance. Microsoft describes a qualifying search as a manually entered, good-faith search for genuine personal research.
Microsoft also warns against rapidly submitting searches, entering strings of random characters, opening articles only to accumulate points, or otherwise manipulating the system. Violations can result in suspended Rewards access and invalidated points. A normal quiz completed at a normal pace is the safest approach.
A practical way to play and verify your reward
- Open Bing.com and inspect the daily image.
- Play the associated quiz if it is available.
- Open the Rewards dashboard in the same Microsoft account.
- Complete any matching Daily Set or earning tile shown there.
- Check for the green completion state or a claim prompt.
- Confirm the balance before assuming that points were awarded.
This process separates the educational Bing feature from the Rewards offer and avoids relying on outdated claims about fixed payouts.

How many points does the Bing Homepage Quiz pay?
There is no universal fixed payout. The value shown on the Rewards activity tile for your account and region controls the reward.
Is the Bing Homepage Quiz the same as the Daily Set?
