To access the documented System menu on your Vizio TV, press Menu on the remote, use the arrow controls to highlight System, and press OK. The exact labels and route depend on your TV model and generation. On V605-G3 and V705-G3 models, for example, Menu > System > Reset & Admin opens administrative options; other models may put information in a different menu.
How do I access the system menu on my Vizio TV?
On the V605-G3 and V705-G3, the VIZIO 2019 V-Series manual documents this route to the administrative controls:
- Turn on the TV and press Menu on the remote.
- Use the arrow controls to highlight System, then press OK.
- Highlight Reset & Admin and press OK.
From there, options include Soft Power Cycle, System PIN Code, Viewing Data, and Reset to Factory Defaults. Read an option’s description before selecting it, especially if it changes settings or erases information. This path is a documented example for those models, not a guaranteed route for every Vizio TV. VIZIO’s manuals and support resources can help you locate the documentation for your model.

How do I get to the System menu on a Vizio TV?
Menu names and locations vary by model. The manuals for the V605-G3 and V705-G3 and the older E24-C1 document Menu > System > Reset & Admin. The E320iA0 manual instead places System Info under Menu > Help > System Info. That option displays information; it is not the same route as the administrative reset controls. See the manual matching your exact TV rather than assuming a path from another generation.

Find the model number and matching manual
- Check the label on the television for its model number.
- If you can already navigate the menus, look for an information or system-information screen; its location depends on the model.
- Use the model number to find the matching manual through VIZIO’s support portal. Follow that manual’s menu names and button instructions.
The documented steps use the remote’s Menu, arrow, and OK controls. If your remote is missing or damaged, choose a replacement only after checking that it matches your TV model and the required button layout.
What can you do in Reset & Admin?
On the 2019 V-Series models covered by the manual, Reset & Admin includes several different kinds of controls. A soft power cycle is a restart option; a factory reset restores settings and clears account information. They are not interchangeable.

- Soft Power Cycle: a restart option documented separately from the factory reset. Use it when your aim is to restart the TV, not erase its configuration.
- System PIN Code and Viewing Data: other controls listed in that model’s administrative menu. Check the on-screen explanation and manual before changing a setting.
- Reset to Factory Defaults: restores settings to defaults and clears account information on the documented V605-G3/V705-G3 models. After the TV restarts, setup must be completed again. The manual warns that wireless and picture settings are among the changes lost.
The older E24-C1 manual also warns that a factory reset removes on-screen setting changes and added V.I.A. Plus apps. Reset effects can differ by model and software, so use the warning in your TV’s own manual as the authority. Do not select a factory reset just to inspect settings or restart the television.

No. The documented System, Help, and Reset & Admin screens are user-facing menus. The Vizio manuals cited here do not establish a universal button sequence for a hidden service or factory menu, and unofficial sequences should not be treated as manufacturer-supported or compatible with every model. For model-specific service-menu guidance, contact Vizio support or a qualified technician rather than trying an unverified key combination.
