To navigate an ARC Raiders raid, check the active map and its condition before deploying, use an interactive map to find available extraction points, and plan both a primary route and a fallback. Extraction is not guaranteed to be safe: starting it can expose your position, and you must survive the countdown. The map roster and exit rules can change with updates, so treat specific counts and mechanics below as a dated snapshot.
Know which map and conditions are active
GameBrief’s guide, last reviewed October 8, 2026, lists seven raid maps: Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport, The Blue Gate, Riven Tides, Stella Montis, and Pendola Pass. It describes the Practice Range as a separate training area and reports that Pendola Pass arrived with the Frozen Trail update on October 8. Use a map to plan a primary route and a fallback
An interactive map can help you orient yourself, find extraction markers, and account for nearby objectives or hazards. ArcMaps is a third-party mapping directory; it says its maps can filter extraction points, containers, quest objectives, blueprints, sentinels, and live events, and work on desktop and mobile. Its directory lists six sectors, which conflicts with GameBrief’s seven-map list last reviewed October 8, 2026. Choose a plausible exit based on more than straight-line distance. Consider the active condition, the exit type and its availability, terrain and distance to a fallback, time remaining, and how much exposure to ARC machines or other Raiders you are willing to risk. Keep the plan flexible: threats, loot opportunities, and what you encounter on the way can change which route makes sense. No available source establishes a consistently safest exit, so avoid treating any marker as a guarantee.
Recognize the extraction types and time limits
GameBrief lists four extraction types: cargo elevators, metro stations, airshafts, and Raider Hatches. Its guide reports a default raid duration of 30 minutes, with 40-minute runs during Hidden Bunker on Spaceport and Locked Gate on The Blue Gate. The same guide says Raider Hatches require a Raider Hatch Key and open briefly for one Raider at a time. It also reports that they are unavailable during an Electromagnetic Storm. Approach extraction as an exposed countdown
Starting extraction can create visible and audible signals that alert nearby players and ARC machines, and you must stay alive until the countdown ends. A general extraction guide recommends healing before approaching and keeping an alternate exit in mind; this is practical guidance, not a guarantee that a route or exit will be safe. - Before activating an exit, heal if you can and assess likely approaches.
- Consider whether nearby threats or other Raiders could respond to the signal.
- Keep enough time and flexibility to move toward your fallback if the approach becomes dangerous.
A practical route-planning sequence
- Before deployment: Check the selected map and active condition. Confirm that your intended exit type is not ruled out by the condition.
- Orient yourself: Open an interactive map that covers the current map and locate extraction markers and route-relevant points. Treat third-party coverage as potentially behind the latest game update.
- Choose two options: Set a primary exit and a fallback. Compare availability, route distance and terrain, remaining raid time, and likely exposure to ARC threats and players.
- Adapt during the raid: Reassess after encounters, loot detours, or changes in your available time. Do not continue toward an exit simply because it was the original plan.
- Before activation: Heal if possible, check likely approaches, and account for the signal and countdown. Be ready to abandon the attempt for your alternate route if circumstances change.
