Moving an NFT or cryptocurrency from Blur to another marketplace is normally a wallet operation, not an account-setting change. First determine which wallet and blockchain actually hold the asset. Send an NFT to a wallet address supported by the destination marketplace, or send funds with the source wallet’s Send function. After the transaction confirms, connect the receiving wallet to the destination marketplace.
Disconnecting Blur, changing a profile, or cancelling a listing does not transfer ownership. The procedure below applies to assets held by your self-custodial wallet. A separate Blur balance, loan, collateral position, or other protocol position may have different withdrawal rules; the official material cited here does not establish a current Blur-specific withdrawal sequence, fee, cooldown, or menu label.
What actually moves when you leave Blur
A marketplace is generally an interface for assets controlled by a wallet. OpenSea’s wallet guidance says that NFTs and cryptocurrency you own are stored directly on the blockchain and accessed through a self-custodial wallet. Blur presents itself as an NFT marketplace, but seeing an item in a marketplace account does not prove that Blur holds it in a separate custodial account.

Before transferring: identify the real owner and network
Check the connected wallet
Open the wallet you used with Blur and record its public address. A marketplace can display inventory associated with a connected address even when you are viewing a different account, chain, or collection page. Compare the address shown in the wallet with the owner address shown for the NFT on a reputable block explorer.
Do not share your secret recovery phrase while checking ownership. OpenSea’s safety guidance states: “Never share your secret recovery phrase.” Support personnel, marketplace pages, and transfer forms should never ask for it.
Check the chain and token contract
Record the blockchain network, collection contract, token ID, and token standard where available. An address that is valid in one ecosystem is not automatically appropriate for every asset or destination. The destination marketplace must support the NFT’s chain and token standard, and the receiving wallet must be able to control that address on the same network.
Separate wallet assets from protocol positions
If the item or funds appear in a loan dashboard, collateral page, rental area, or other Blur feature rather than in the wallet’s ordinary asset list, pause. Staking, lending, collateral, or rental arrangements can change who is permitted to transfer an NFT. A wallet balance that is visible on-chain is not the same thing as a marketplace display balance, and a protocol position may require a contract-specific action before the underlying asset returns to the wallet.
Prepare the destination marketplace and address
Confirm support before sending
Use the destination marketplace’s current help pages and deposit or account interface to confirm that it accepts the NFT’s chain and token. Check the same details for each cryptocurrency you intend to send. Support can vary by chain, token, account type, and regional or product changes, so do not rely on an old screenshot or a listing page alone.
Use an address you control
For a normal self-custody transfer, copy the public address of the wallet that you will connect to the destination marketplace. If the marketplace supplies a deposit address, verify that it is specifically for your account and for the chosen token and network. Never type an address from memory when a copy-and-verify workflow is available.

Perform an independent address check
Compare the first and last characters of the copied address with the address displayed in the receiving wallet. If the wallet or marketplace supports a QR code, still confirm the decoded address on screen. Malware can replace clipboard contents, and a visually similar address can belong to someone else. Once a blockchain transfer is confirmed, the destination generally cannot reverse it.
How to move an NFT to another marketplace
The labels differ between wallets and marketplaces, but the transaction has the same essential parts: select the token, specify the recipient, review the chain transaction, and authorize it with the wallet that currently owns the NFT.
- Open the source wallet and locate the NFT. Use the wallet or a trusted transfer interface connected to the wallet that is shown as the token owner. Confirm the collection name, token ID, chain, and current owner address.
- Start the transfer. Choose the interface’s transfer or send action for that NFT. If a marketplace offers a transfer control, it is still requesting a wallet transaction; it is not moving the token merely by changing your marketplace account.
- Enter the destination address. Paste the public address of the wallet you will use at the other marketplace. Verify the complete address using the receiving wallet and the destination marketplace’s account or deposit screen.
- Review the transaction details. Check the recipient, NFT contract, token ID, network, estimated network fee, and any marketplace or wallet fee shown before signing. A fee estimate is not a guarantee of the final network cost; the wallet may update it before approval.
- Approve in the owning wallet. Confirm the transaction or signature in the official wallet software. Read warnings carefully. Do not approve a request that asks for your recovery phrase, or a contract action whose purpose you cannot identify.
- Wait for blockchain confirmation. Keep the transaction hash. The NFT is not safely considered moved merely because a marketplace page says pending or because the wallet window closed.
- Verify the result independently. Look up the hash in the appropriate explorer for the NFT’s network and confirm that the token’s owner is now the destination address. Then connect that receiving wallet to the destination marketplace and allow its inventory index to update.
OpenSea’s transfer guide warns: “Once it’s been sent, you won’t be able to undo it.” Treat the final approval as irreversible.
Can NFTs be transferred in a group?
Some wallets or transfer interfaces support multiple NFTs in one operation, while others require one transaction per item. Use a batch only when the interface clearly lists every intended token and the wallet shows the complete transaction. The same address, chain, contract, and irreversibility checks apply to every item. If the interface does not document batch behavior, transfer individually rather than guessing.
How to send funds to the destination marketplace
Funds held by your wallet move through the wallet’s Send function. This is separate from selling an NFT, cancelling a listing, revoking an approval, or withdrawing a protocol position.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Open the wallet that holds the funds. Select the exact token you intend to send. Confirm the spendable balance rather than a marketplace display balance.
- Choose Send. Select the recipient address supplied by the destination wallet or marketplace. Do not use an NFT transfer screen for cryptocurrency, and do not send a token to an address intended for a different asset unless the destination explicitly supports that arrangement.
- Select the network. Match the network in the wallet to the network accepted for that token by the destination. Sending on an unsupported network can leave the funds inaccessible to the destination service even when the address format looks familiar.
- Enter the amount and leave room for fees. The wallet may require the network’s native asset to pay transaction fees. Check the amount, decimals, token symbol, and fee estimate before proceeding.
- Verify the recipient independently. Compare the address shown in the wallet with the destination’s current deposit or account screen. Check the network and token again immediately before signing.
- Confirm in the official wallet. Approve the send transaction only after the wallet displays the expected recipient, asset, amount, and network.
- Save and check the transaction hash. Use the relevant chain explorer to verify confirmation and the receiving address. Connect the destination wallet to the marketplace only after the transaction is confirmed.
OpenSea’s wallet documentation supports this general wallet-level sending process. It does not establish a Blur-specific button sequence for funds held in a Blur balance or protocol contract. If the balance is not spendable in your wallet, identify the position type and follow the current official instructions for that position instead of sending an unrelated transaction.

Why an NFT may not transfer
An NFT can be visible in a wallet or marketplace and still be non-transferable. OpenSea’s transfer guidance identifies several common restrictions.
- Staked: The NFT is deposited into a staking contract and must be unstaked first.
- Collateralized: The NFT secures a loan or other obligation and cannot be moved until the contract permits release.
- Rented: A rental agreement or escrow contract controls transfer rights until its conditions end.
- Soulbound: The token is designed not to transfer between addresses.
- Collection contract restriction: The NFT’s smart contract may impose its own transfer rules, pause state, allowlist, or administrative restriction.
- Wrong account or network: You may be connected to an address that can view the item but is not the owner, or you may be using a wallet session on a different chain.
Read the wallet error and inspect the token’s contract activity before retrying. Do not repeatedly approve transactions hoping that one will bypass a contract restriction. If an NFT is collateral or rental inventory, resolve the underlying obligation through the relevant official interface. If it is soulbound or contract-blocked, a normal marketplace transfer will not make it transferable.
How to verify that the move succeeded
Use the transaction hash
Wallets normally provide a transaction hash after submission. Open that hash in the explorer for the network used. A successful result should show the expected recipient and, for an NFT, the token transfer event for the correct contract and token ID. For funds, confirm the token amount and destination address.
Distinguish confirmation from marketplace indexing
The blockchain explorer is the authoritative first check. A destination marketplace may take time to index a confirmed transfer, or it may require you to refresh the wallet connection. Do not claim that an asset failed solely because it is not immediately visible in the marketplace interface. Conversely, do not treat a marketplace display as proof of settlement when the explorer shows a failed or pending transaction.
Check the receiving wallet before listing
Once the transaction confirms, disconnect and reconnect the receiving wallet if necessary, then inspect the wallet’s asset list. Only list or use the NFT after the wallet and explorer both show the expected ownership. For funds, verify the available balance and token network before attempting a purchase or deposit.

The ordinary wallet workflow does not answer how to withdraw every kind of balance displayed by Blur. A protocol position may represent a claim, loan, collateral deposit, accrued amount, or settlement state rather than freely spendable tokens. The official material available for this article does not establish a current Blur menu path, withdrawal fee, cooldown, supported network, or timing for those cases.

Before taking action, identify the exact asset and position type, read the live official documentation for that feature, and check which wallet and contract currently control it. If no current official instruction is available, pause rather than signing an unfamiliar contract call. A marketplace transfer, listing cancellation, or approval revocation cannot substitute for a documented protocol withdrawal.

Every blockchain transaction can involve a network fee, and some interfaces may show additional service or marketplace charges. The amount depends on the chain, congestion, transaction type, and wallet estimate at the time of signing. No universal Blur transfer fee or withdrawal time is established here, so do not rely on a fixed number.
Transfers are generally submitted immediately after wallet approval, but confirmation time varies by network conditions and transaction fee settings. Marketplace indexing can take additional time. Keep the hash and use the explorer rather than assuming a transaction is complete based on an interface spinner.
Choose the network that both the asset and destination support. Bridging or converting an asset to another network is a separate operation with its own risks and fees; do not add it to a marketplace transfer unless the destination explicitly requires it and you understand the bridge’s official process.
Security checklist for a safe transfer
- Use only official wallet software and the destination marketplace’s genuine domain or application.
- Never disclose or enter your secret recovery phrase on a support page, transfer form, or website.
- Verify the recipient address, token, network, collection contract, and token ID immediately before approval.
- Inspect the wallet’s transaction warning and reject requests that do not match the intended action.
- Consider a hardware wallet as an optional additional security layer. It does not move assets by itself, and it must support the chains and tokens you use; no particular model is required by this workflow.
- Keep a record of transaction hashes and screenshots of the confirmed recipient details for your own reconciliation.
- Do not send a test amount to an address that cannot demonstrate support for the exact token and network. A test transfer can still be unrecoverable.
Troubleshooting by symptom
| Symptom | Likely explanation | What to check next |
|---|---|---|
| The transfer button is disabled | The NFT may be staked, collateralized, rented, soulbound, paused, or controlled by another account. | Read the wallet error, inspect contract status, and resolve the restriction through the relevant official interface. |
| The transaction failed | The contract rejected the action, the fee was insufficient, or the wallet was on the wrong network. | Review the failed hash and error details. Correct the underlying issue before retrying. |
| The NFT is absent from the destination marketplace | The transaction may still be pending, the marketplace index has not refreshed, or a different wallet is connected. | Verify ownership and confirmation in the correct chain explorer, then reconnect the receiving wallet. |
| Funds do not appear after sending | The token or network may not be supported, or the transaction may be pending or failed. | Check the hash, token contract, network, and destination deposit instructions. Contact the destination’s official support only after confirming these details. |
| A Blur balance cannot be sent from the wallet | It may be a protocol position rather than a wallet-held token balance. | Identify the position and locate current official withdrawal instructions; do not guess a contract call. |
Final pre-approval checklist
- The source wallet address is the current on-chain owner or controller.
- The destination marketplace supports the exact chain, token standard, NFT collection, or cryptocurrency.
- The receiving address belongs to the wallet you will connect at the destination.
- The token, network, amount, contract, and token ID shown in the wallet match your plan.
- You understand the displayed fee and have enough native currency to pay it.
- The NFT is not locked by staking, collateral, rental, soulbound status, or a contract restriction.
- You are signing in official wallet software and have not exposed your recovery phrase.
- You will save the transaction hash and verify it on the correct explorer.
When these checks pass, the practical sequence is straightforward: transfer the wallet-held NFT to the destination wallet, send wallet-held funds to the correct address and network, verify both transactions on-chain, and then connect the receiving wallet to the other marketplace. Treat any separate Blur balance or protocol position as a different withdrawal problem requiring its own current official instructions.
