To move cryptocurrency from Bitcoin.de, first confirm the receiving service supports the exact asset and network, then create a withdrawal address in your Bitcoin.de account. Choose the correct destination type, complete any required address verification, and submit the withdrawal from Disbursements using your password and SMS-mTAN or one-time password. Check the live fee and every destination detail before confirming: Bitcoin.de warns that cryptocurrency transfers cannot be reversed.
Before you withdraw, check the receiving destination
Open the receiving exchange’s deposit page or your wallet’s receive screen. Confirm the asset and network match what Bitcoin.de will send. A matching ticker alone does not prove that both services support the same network.
Also check the destination provider’s current instructions for any required memo or tag, minimum deposit, and confirmation rules. These details vary by asset and service; Bitcoin.de’s general instructions do not establish them for a particular destination.
Choose the right destination type
When you create a withdrawal address, Bitcoin.de asks who receives or controls the funds. Select the category that matches the destination:

Bitcoin.de’s address instructions give examples of self-hosted wallets, but the category is based on who controls the destination—not on a particular wallet brand.
Create and verify the withdrawal address
- In your Bitcoin.de account, open the Withdrawal area.
- Select the cryptocurrency you intend to send and use the control to create a destination address.
- Enter the destination address and identify whether it belongs to another Bitcoin.de user, a VASP, or your own self-hosted wallet.
- If the destination is self-hosted, follow Bitcoin.de’s current Satoshi test or signature procedure. A wallet that generates a fresh address may require you to use coin control to select an address for the Satoshi test. If the available procedures do not fit your wallet software, Bitcoin.de directs users to contact support.

Submit the withdrawal from Disbursements
- Open the Disbursements page.
- Enter the receiving address and the amount you want to send.
- Review the fee shown in the withdrawal flow. Bitcoin.de says its BTC withdrawal fee follows current Bitcoin network fees and is adjusted regularly; it also allows an optional fee increase intended to improve the chance of faster inclusion in a block.
- Confirm using your account password and either an SMS-mTAN or a one-time password. A comment is optional.
The Bitcoin.de transfer FAQ describes this process and warns: “Transfers of cryptocurrencies can not be reversed!” Before submitting, carefully compare the address, asset, network, and amount with the receiving provider’s instructions.

Bitcoin.de describes the BTC withdrawal fee as dependent on current Bitcoin network fees, with regular adjustments. Its published BTC fee pages have shown differing values and update dates, so a figure seen in a search result should not be treated as the fee for your withdrawal. Check the amount displayed in your logged-in withdrawal flow before you authorize the transfer. Bitcoin.de says the bank forwards network fees rather than keeping them; see its current BTC disbursement-fee information.

After sending: verify receipt at the destination
Check the destination wallet or exchange for the incoming transfer and follow its instructions for tracking or crediting the deposit. There is no universal arrival-time promise in Bitcoin.de’s general guidance: network fee selection can affect the likelihood of block inclusion, while the receiving service sets its own deposit-crediting rules.
