The YouTube Studio mobile app lets creators check channel activity, manage videos and other content, review analytics, reply to comments, and manage monetization settings when eligible. Its main areas are Dashboard, Content, Analytics, Community, and Earn. The screens and available reports can vary by device, channel activity, eligibility, and the gradual interface rollout.
How do I use the YouTube Studio mobile app?
Open the app on an Android device or an iPhone or iPad, then use its main sections to move between channel overview, content management, performance reports, comments, and monetization. YouTube’s Studio mobile navigation guide describes these areas. What appears in your app can vary; the mobile and desktop documentation does not establish that every control is available on every device.
What is on the Dashboard?
Dashboard is a compact overview of the channel. The Android and iPhone/iPad help pages describe cards for channel analytics, published content, and recent comments; the analytics card covers the past 28 days. Published-content cards may include videos, Shorts, and live streams. Some cards depend on channel activity, and the device-specific layouts are not identical to the broader desktop dashboard guidance.

How can I manage videos and other content?
In Content, browse videos, Shorts, live content, and playlists. You can search or filter content; available filters can include content type, visibility, view counts, and other status. You can also edit video details and check content restrictions. See YouTube’s navigation documentation for the mobile section overview.
The available documentation does not provide a complete mobile-versus-desktop feature list, so do not assume every desktop editing control is present in the app. If a control is missing, check the corresponding desktop workflow rather than concluding that the content cannot be managed at all.

How do I check YouTube analytics on my phone?
Analytics lets you review performance at channel and individual-video level. Depending on the report and channel, YouTube’s mobile guidance covers channel progress, engagement, discovery, audience characteristics, and revenue for eligible creators. Not every report is available in the mobile app; consult YouTube’s mobile analytics help for the reports and metrics it describes.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFor a useful comparison, look for patterns across several metrics and compare videos of the same format. Shorts, live streams, and long-form videos can attract audiences with different viewing behaviors, so a direct comparison between formats may be misleading.
Rank #3
How do I reply to comments in YouTube Studio?
Open Community to view comments on your videos and reply to them. The Dashboard can also surface recent comments you have not responded to, which can help you find conversations needing attention without browsing through every video first.
What does the Earn section do?
Earn provides access to monetization settings for creators in the YouTube Partner Program. Eligibility matters: a channel that is not in the program may not see this section, and participation does not imply that every monetization feature is available to that channel. See the Studio mobile navigation guide for the section’s role in the app.

Why does my app look different from a guide?
YouTube says it began gradually rolling out an updated Studio experience in July 2026. Its Analytics overview notes that the page may look different during the rollout. The app can also vary between Android and iPhone/iPad guidance, and dashboard cards may depend on channel activity. Earn depends on Partner Program participation.
Official help pages do not establish full mobile/desktop feature parity or minimum operating-system and hardware requirements. For a specific missing feature, consult the relevant help topic and check whether it is available in your app version and account.
