To make an OPPO Find X10 battery last longer between charges, first find apps using background power, review which apps can auto-launch, and run OPPO’s Phone Manager optimization. When runtime matters more than full performance, consider a power-saving mode—but check the options and exact menu labels on your installed software. OPPO’s global launch is scheduled for October 21, 2026, and exact Find X10 ColorOS 17 battery settings have not yet been confirmed.
What OPPO says about Find X10 battery life
In its October 8, 2026 announcement, OPPO said both Find X10 models have an 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery and can deliver “up to two days of typical use” on one charge. That is OPPO’s estimate, not a guaranteed result or an independent test. OPPO also says capacity varies by market: selected markets receive a 7,150mAh battery, so check the specification for the regional model you are buying.
OPPO says its lab data indicates the battery is engineered to retain over 80% of its original capacity after five years of typical use. The company cautions that actual battery health can vary with settings, usage and environmental conditions. Read OPPO’s Find X10 series announcement.
OPPO’s China specifications list 8,000mAh typical and 7,770mAh rated capacity, plus up to 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Those are China-market specifications, not universal figures. How to reduce app-related battery use
Start by checking which apps are consuming power and which are allowed to start or keep running in the background. OPPO’s general battery guidance recommends controlling auto-launch and limiting background apps that use power. The exact Find X10 menu labels and locations are not confirmed, so look for app battery usage, background activity or auto-launch controls in the installed software rather than relying on an unverified path.
- Restrict auto-launch or background activity for apps you rarely use and do not need to update or notify you immediately.
- Keep background access for important messaging, accessibility, health, navigation or safety apps when timely updates or alerts matter.
- After changing a restriction, check whether the app still sends the notifications or updates you rely on.
OPPO’s guidance is general advice for its phones; it does not report a Find X10-specific battery-life gain from changing these settings. Read OPPO’s general battery-saving guidance.

Run Phone Manager optimization
OPPO recommends using Phone Manager’s “Optimize” action as part of its general phone-maintenance guidance. It describes this action as including cleanup, security and privacy checks, and other maintenance. Run it if available, but treat it as a maintenance step—not a promise of a specific increase in battery life. The precise Phone Manager layout on the Find X10 should be checked on the installed software.

When to use a power-saving mode
OPPO’s general guidance describes standard Power Saving as reducing screen brightness, disabling some background apps and limiting certain CPU functions. Super Power Saving is more restrictive: OPPO says it limits phone use to six selected apps. These modes can help prioritize remaining runtime, but may reduce performance or stop background activity. Confirm which modes the Find X10 offers and what each one changes before depending on it.

OPPO’s general article places these modes under Settings > Battery. That path is not verified for the Find X10’s ColorOS 17 software. A separate OPPO support answer describes Smart Power Saver under Settings > Battery specifically for ColorOS 5.2 devices; it is not evidence that the same feature or path exists on the Find X10. Android’s Battery Saver is another option if it appears on your phone. Google warns that it can restrict or turn off background activity, visual effects, some features, network connections and app behavior; some apps may be delayed. What to check on your Find X10
Because the global launch is scheduled for October 21, 2026, exact ColorOS 17 battery settings and regional menu paths are not yet established. Once the phone is available, use the installed version’s Battery and app settings screens to confirm feature names and behavior. In particular, check whether the standard and super power-saving modes are present, which apps or connections they restrict, how notifications behave, and how to return to normal operation.
