Install the official DAZN app from your television’s app store, sign in, and open the Cavaliers section to watch eligible live games, replays and team programming. DAZN’s 2026–27 Cavaliers agreement covers preseason contests and regular-season games that are not selected exclusively for national broadcast; the announcement also includes 15 games available free.
If your television does not offer DAZN, a supported Fire TV Stick, Apple TV or Chromecast can add the app without replacing the TV.
What Cavaliers content is available on DAZN?
Beginning with the 2026–27 NBA season, DAZN is the direct-to-fan destination for Cleveland Cavaliers preseason games, team-produced original programming and regular-season games that are not selected exclusively for national broadcast. This means DAZN is not a guarantee that every Cavaliers game will appear there: a game assigned exclusively to a national broadcaster is outside the DAZN inventory described in the 1 September 2026 announcement.
The same announcement says 15 Cavaliers games are available for free. It does not establish whether every market can access those games in exactly the same way or whether an account is required, so check the game listing in DAZN for your location. Paid plans provide access to the service’s eligible Cavaliers inventory, while full-season and half-season Cavs United and Foundation Members receive a complimentary subscription under the announced arrangement.

Check these requirements before installing
Confirm the television or streaming device
DAZN says it is compatible with most major smart-TV brands, including Samsung, LG, Sony, Panasonic, Hisense, Philips and televisions running Android TV. It also lists Amazon Fire TV Stick and Fire TV Cube, Apple TV and Chromecast as supported device families. Exact model and operating-system support can vary, particularly on older televisions.
The NBA Help Center’s requirements page, updated 13 October 2026, lists these current platform baselines for its connected-TV experience:

These version figures are the NBA Help Center’s current guidance and should be treated as a compatibility check, not a promise that every DAZN feature works on every model. DAZN’s own support documentation advises using a supported device and the latest app version.

Connect to the internet and update software
- Connect the TV or streaming device to Wi-Fi or Ethernet and verify that another app can load video.
- Install any available television, streaming-device and app-store updates.
- Have the email address and password for your DAZN account ready. If you do not have an account, you can create one during setup.
- Keep the TV remote available for the first sign-in; entering credentials is usually easier with the remote’s on-screen keyboard.
Install DAZN on the television’s built-in app store
The labels differ by manufacturer, but the process is the same: open the platform’s app store, search for DAZN, select the official listing, and install it. Do not install an app with a similar name or an unofficial publisher.
Samsung smart TV
- Press the Home button and open Apps (called Samsung Apps on some interfaces).
- Choose the search icon and enter DAZN.
- Select the official DAZN app, choose Install, and wait for the download to finish.
- Open the app from the Apps screen or add it to the Home bar for quicker access.
LG smart TV
- Press Home and open the LG Content Store.
- Use Search and enter DAZN.
- Open the official result, select Install, then choose Launch when installation completes.
Android TV and Google TV
- From the Home screen, open Apps and then Google Play Store.
- Search for DAZN using the on-screen keyboard or voice search.
- Select the official app and choose Install.
- Open DAZN from the app row, or move it into your preferred order.
Other supported smart-TV brands
On Sony, Panasonic, Hisense and Philips sets, open the manufacturer’s app store, search for DAZN and install the official listing. Android TV models use Google Play even when the television carries a different brand name. If no result appears, do not sideload an unknown package; follow the external-device method below.
Sign in and open a Cavaliers game
- Launch DAZN after installation.
- Choose Sign in if you already subscribe. Enter the account email and password exactly as registered.
- Choose the account-creation option if you are new to DAZN, then select the Cavaliers plan that fits your viewing needs. Complete any payment or account confirmation screens shown for your region.
- From the DAZN home screen, use Search and enter Cavaliers, or open the Cavaliers team area if it is displayed in the sports navigation.
- Select the live event, replay, highlight or original program. A live event may appear shortly before its scheduled start, while replays and highlights remain under the team or basketball categories.
- Start playback and verify that the picture and sound work before tip-off. If the event is not listed, check whether it was selected exclusively for national broadcast or whether its start time has changed.
The service’s plan entitlement controls which event starts playback. Seeing a Cavaliers listing does not change the national-broadcast exception in the 2026–27 agreement.

What to do when your TV does not have the DAZN app
Use a supported Fire TV Stick or Fire TV Cube
- Connect the Fire TV device to an available HDMI port and its power adapter.
- Switch the television to that HDMI input and complete the Fire TV network setup.
- Open Find or Search, type DAZN, select the official app and choose Get.
- Launch DAZN, sign in or create an account, and search for Cavaliers programming.
The NBA Help Center lists Fire TV and Fire Stick devices from the third generation with Fire OS 7 or later. If the app store cannot install the current app on an older stick, updating the device may not be possible; a supported newer model is the clearer fix.

Use Apple TV
- Connect Apple TV to HDMI and power, select its input, and join your home network.
- Open the App Store, search for DAZN, and select Get.
- Open the app and sign in with your DAZN credentials.
The current NBA Help Center requirement is tvOS 17 or later. Install the latest tvOS update before troubleshooting an unavailable or unstable app.
Use Chromecast
- Plug the Chromecast into HDMI, supply power, and complete setup in the Google Home environment on your phone or tablet.
- Install the DAZN mobile app on the phone or tablet and sign in.
- Make sure the mobile device and Chromecast are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Open the Cavaliers event in DAZN, tap the Cast control, and choose the Chromecast.
Chromecast sends the stream to the television while your phone acts as the controller. Keep the phone connected to the same network until casting begins.

DAZN Cavaliers plans and prices for 2026
The following prices are the figures published by DAZN Group and the Cleveland Cavaliers for 2026. They are not a general estimate for every country or future season. The number of simultaneous streams and locations is part of each plan’s stated terms.

The regular Season Pass is $119.99 for the published year, while the Monthly Pass costs $19.99 for each billed month. Choosing annual billing therefore depends on how long you expect to watch and on the plan’s current terms, cancellation rules and eligibility in your market. Those terms should be read on the checkout screen before payment.

Choosing the right installation and plan

Troubleshoot common installation and viewing problems
DAZN does not appear in the app store
- Confirm that the TV or streaming device is connected to the internet and that the store is signed into the correct regional account.
- Check the device generation and operating-system baseline. Samsung sets older than the listed 2018 models, Roku units earlier than fifth generation, Apple TV below tvOS 17, Android TV below OS 7 and Fire TV devices below third generation may not support the current experience.
- Install pending system updates, restart the TV, and search the store again.
- If the listing still does not appear, use a supported external streaming device rather than downloading an unofficial app package.
Installation stops or the app will not open
- Check available storage and remove unused apps if the television reports insufficient space.
- Restart the TV or streaming device and reboot the home router.
- Run system updates, then install the latest DAZN version from the official store.
- If the app remains broken, uninstall it, restart the device, and install it again. Your subscription is tied to the account, so reinstalling does not create a new plan.
Sign-in fails
- Use the same email address used when the subscription was purchased; a different address can open an account without the Cavaliers entitlement.
- Re-enter the password carefully with the television’s on-screen keyboard, paying attention to capitalization.
- Try signing in on another supported device to determine whether the problem is the account or the TV app.
- Do not create a second subscription merely because the TV sign-in screen is inconvenient; recover the existing account first.
A Cavaliers game is missing
First check the event date, time and competition. DAZN’s announced coverage excludes regular-season games selected exclusively for national broadcast, so those games may not be available in the Cavaliers area. Preseason games, eligible regular-season games and team-produced programming can appear under different categories, so use Search as well as the team page. The 15 free games are a subset specifically identified in the 2026 announcement, not a statement that every Cavaliers game is free.
Playback buffers or stops
- Pause other high-bandwidth activity on the same connection and move the TV or streaming device closer to the Wi-Fi access point, or use Ethernet where available.
- Close and reopen DAZN, then restart the streaming device and router.
- Install the latest operating-system and app updates. The NBA Help Center specifically recommends updating the device operating system and installing the latest app version for best performance.
- Test another video in DAZN. If other titles play but one live event does not, the issue may be limited to that event; check the listing again rather than repeatedly reinstalling the app.
Too many people are watching
Check the plan’s stream and location allowance. The standard Monthly and Season Passes publish two simultaneous streams in one location. The Ultimate versions publish five streams in two locations. Starting another stream beyond those terms can interrupt playback or prevent a new device from starting.

Keeping the setup reliable through the season
- Leave automatic app and operating-system updates enabled when the TV platform supports them.
- Open DAZN before game time to confirm that you are still signed in and that the event listing is visible.
- Keep the external streamer’s remote accessible if the built-in TV app is unreliable; switching to the streamer’s HDMI input is faster than reinstalling during tip-off.
- Review the plan, stream allowance and billing interval in your DAZN account before changing devices or moving from a monthly to a season subscription.
