The Shores is a released DLC chapter for Little Nightmares III. Low and Alone make their way through a flooded coastal settlement toward a lighthouse, facing leeches, water hazards, puzzles and submerged passages. This walkthrough follows the chapter’s route and flags the reported beach collectibles; it does not claim a fully verified 100% checklist.
How do you access The Shores?
You need the Little Nightmares III base game, and the DLC must match the platform and storefront where you play. Bandai Namco announced The Shores on 30 September 2026 for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and PC. The publisher says it is available separately and included in the Deluxe Edition and Secrets of the Spiral Expansion Pass. Check your platform’s store for current regional availability and pricing; Steam’s listing displayed $7.99 when checked, but that is not a universal or permanent price. Bandai Namco’s release announcement and the Steam listing provide the release and prerequisite details.

How do you get through The Shores?
Spoilers: The route below names locations, hazards and a collectible. Official materials establish the lighthouse destination and broad hazards; the puzzle sequence here follows the reported walkthrough route.

- In the early flooded room, have the companion raise the shutter so Low can reach the switch.
- Use the switch to flood the room, then swim through the opening at the front-right.
- In the flooded kitchen, cross by way of the countertops and avoid the electrified water.
- Reach the broken pipe in the far corner and pull its lever to stop the water.

Beach and leech encounters
Continue onto the beach and watch for leeches as you move through the coastal area. The publisher identifies leeches and the Leech Monster among the chapter’s dangers, but the available route account does not establish a precise timing or button sequence for encounters. Follow the visible route onward rather than treating a specific dodge or attack instruction as confirmed.
The beach guide also reports sandcastles to break and a ladder that requires help from the companion. It places sandcastles near a buoy and outhouse, along the water’s edge, near a corpse, and toward the back-right. An empty grave has a paper boat nearby. Settlement, sewers and lighthouse
From the beach, progress through the coastal settlement and its submerged passages toward the sewers, then continue toward the lighthouse beacon. Waterways, hazards, puzzles and sewers are part of the publisher’s description of the chapter. The available guide excerpts do not establish every intervening room or puzzle step, so use the chapter’s environmental route rather than relying on unverified button prompts or timing instructions. The publisher’s chapter announcement confirms the destination and hazard themes.

The reported beach location is beside an empty grave. The available guide details do not establish a complete location list for every Paper Boat in the chapter, so this should not be treated as a full collectible checklist. How do you return for missed collectibles or achievements?
PowerPyx says Chapter Select remains available after the story, letting players revisit the chapter for content they missed. Neoseeker’s reported beach sandcastles are tied to the “Battering Ram” achievement or trophy. The available guide details do not provide a fully cross-checked list of every collectible or every achievement condition, so use a current completion guide if you need to confirm that nothing remains.
