For A Direwolf Delicacy, give Isla a Snowdeer Bone. Find and defeat a Snowdeer in Norgan, examine its body to collect the bone, then return it to Isla.
What treat does Isla want?
Isla is looking for a Snowdeer Bone. Despite the quest’s reference to a treat, the requested item is a bone—not a piece of food or a different Snowdeer drop. VGC’s walkthrough describes the bone as a rare pickup from a Snowdeer’s body.

Where to find a Snowdeer in Norgan
Snowdeer are described as widespread across Norgan. One suggested place to begin searching is north of the Norgandian Settlement, along the path beside the river’s south edge. The route is a search suggestion, not a guaranteed spawn location; if no Snowdeer appears there, keep looking elsewhere in Norgan, including toward its northern side.
How to collect the Snowdeer Bone
- Travel through Norgan and locate a Snowdeer.
- Defeat it.
- Examine the Snowdeer’s body to loot the Snowdeer Bone. The bone is described as a rare item, so check the body rather than assuming it is an automatic drop.
How to finish A Direwolf Delicacy
Once you have the Snowdeer Bone, return to Isla and offer it to her to complete the quest. Isla is both the person who requests the item and the person who receives it.

What if you offer the wrong item?
If you want to work out the answer through Isla’s hints, the VGC guide says she gives a hint after each incorrect offering. It also reports that an incorrect offer has no consequence, so you can use those hints to narrow down what she wants. The correct item is still the Snowdeer Bone.
This walkthrough follows Dave Aubrey’s VGC guide, published 8 October 2026. Its suggested route should be treated as a place to start rather than a confirmed fixed spawn point.
