The Star Wars Galactic Racer Platinum, “Galactic Champion,” requires every other PS5 trophy. A practical route is to finish the three-act campaign once, clear Act 3 on Champion, then work through campaign cleanup and the 50 base-game Arcade golds. The campaign story trophies are described as unmissable; Arcade time trials are the guide’s toughest phase.
What the Platinum requires
Star Wars Galactic Racer launched on October 6, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, according to StarWars.com. PlayStation’s listing describes a runs-based racer with a story campaign and multiple modes (PlayStation Store). The PowerPyx PS5 roadmap identifies the Platinum as “Galactic Champion” and says it requires all other trophies; it says no DLC is needed for the Platinum (PowerPyx trophy guide and roadmap).

Plan for four distinct jobs: finish the story, complete a Champion run, collect and use campaign unlocks for several cleanup trophies, and earn gold in every base-game Arcade time trial. The roadmap is a third-party guide rather than a developer-maintained trophy list, so treat its route advice as guidance rather than an official guarantee.
Are any trophies missable, and can you play offline?
The roadmap describes the main Act 1, Act 2, and Act 3 story trophies as earned through normal progression and not missable. That includes joining the League, qualifying, defeating Kestar in the Stadium Showdown, and winning the Galactic League Championship. It does not establish that every optional unlock or cleanup condition is automatic, so keep track of those separately.

The game FAQ says the solo campaign, Arcade events, and Scenarios can be played offline. Multiplayer and connected Arcade leaderboards require internet access; PC also requires online authentication on first launch. Offline play and trophy syncing are separate matters: the FAQ does not specify how PS5 trophy syncing behaves without a connection. If you have PlayStation Plus and want a recovery option before a difficult event, the roadmap suggests making a cloud-save backup. Use the PS5’s current save controls and understand that cloud saves depend on an active subscription; this is a precaution, not a requirement for the Platinum.

Step 1: Finish the three-act campaign
Play through Act 1: The Qualifier, Act 2: The Galactic League, and Act 3: Kestar’s Galactic League. Prioritize completing the campaign over pursuing every optional Favor or Racer Style on the first pass. Finishing the story unlocks Champion difficulty, and many of the remaining requirements are more manageable as targeted cleanup.

Step 2: Complete Act 3 on Champion
Champion unlocks after one campaign completion. According to the roadmap, you can earn the Champion trophy by replaying Act 3 on that difficulty; a second full-campaign run is not required.

Champion raises opponent skill and aggression and makes crashes more consequential: the roadmap says the crash allowance refreshes to three when you start a new planet, not after every event. Its suggested approach is to favor survival-focused choices such as the Tenacious Racer Style and Mad Genius Favor, and to select safer Standard races or non-race nodes where possible. These are guide recommendations, not independently verified best-in-slot choices.
Step 3: Plan campaign cleanup around unlocks
The roadmap’s cleanup requirements involve unlocks, repeated Galactic Gauntlet wins, and rival challenges. Use this checklist to track the targets:

Use repeated Gauntlet runs efficiently
The roadmap recommends Act 2 for repeated Gauntlet clears because it is shorter than Act 3. Equip a different eligible Favor or Racer Style on each run so that the same activity can advance multiple requirements. The guide also describes a route that returns to Act 2 by intentionally losing the final Kestar event after completing the Gauntlet. Because that depends on current game behavior and is exploit-like, verify it in your version before relying on it; ordinary repeated runs remain the safer plan.
Track Favor unlock conditions
Favor unlocks can depend on story progress, event types, backer ratings, rival races, and Mystery Encounters, according to the roadmap. Some encounter chains require multiple encounters and specific responses or conditions. Visit Mystery Encounter nodes when available and monitor the requirements shown in game rather than assuming Favors will all unlock just by progressing the story.

Complete the podium cleanup on Cadet
For “Clean Sweep,” the roadmap recommends Act 1 on Cadet difficulty and choosing nodes that minimize the number of races. Its Act counts are 13 events in Act 1, 18 in Act 2, and 22 in Act 3. This is an efficiency suggestion for that cleanup trophy, not a requirement to play the full Platinum on Cadet.

Arcade is a time-trial mode with preset vehicles and tracks. The roadmap lists 50 trials in the base game and says the corresponding trophy requires gold times in all 50. The Deluxe edition adds three Arcade trials, but the roadmap did not establish whether those extra events count toward any trophy; the 50-event requirement above is for the base-game trophy.
PowerPyx characterizes Arcade as the hardest part of the trophy list. That is the guide publisher’s assessment, not a measured community-wide difficulty rating. Some trials are strict while others leave room for mistakes, so there is no reliable universal attempt count or completion time.

- Learn the route before trying to force a faster time. A clean line and controlled cornering can matter more than risky speed.
- Use the vehicle’s abilities and parts deliberately. The game’s Arcade vehicles and tracks are preset, so focus on making the available setup work rather than expecting unrestricted vehicle selection.
- When a particular event stalls your progress, consult a walkthrough for that exact trial and confirm it matches the current game version. The roadmap links an all-golds video playlist and recommends individual trial walkthroughs when needed.
- Do not assume a setup shown in a video is mandatory for other trials; the roadmap does not establish one universal configuration.
Does the Platinum require a wheel, VR, or a particular edition?
The game FAQ says racing wheels, HOTAS/HOSAS controllers, and VR are not supported, so none is a trophy prerequisite. The FAQ confirms PS5 physical Standard and Deluxe editions, with console physical copies on disc. The PlayStation Store also lists the PS5 game and a Deluxe upgrade. The roadmap’s Platinum requirements are for the base game; it says no DLC is required.
