The verified free way to get Fortnite’s Lady Liberty outfit is to place high enough in The Purge’s Lady Liberty Cup. The solo tournament runs October 17–18, 2026. You do not need V-Bucks, but you must meet Epic’s account requirements and finish within your region’s reward cutoff. Qualifying players also receive the Purge Drone back bling.
Is the Lady Liberty outfit free?
Yes, the outfit can be earned without spending V-Bucks through the official Lady Liberty Cup. It is a competitive-event reward, not a regular free Item Shop claim. Epic’s published event information does not document a separate free code, guaranteed claim button, generator or permanent redemption route.
The cup offers solo Battle Royale and solo Zero Build sessions. Epic’s event listing gives October 17 and October 18, 2026 as the event dates; the exact session times appear in Fortnite’s in-game Competitive or Events interface.

Epic Games’ 2026 Attachment C sets the following outfit cutoffs for both Zero Build and Battle Royale. The same qualifying placements receive the Purge Drone back bling.

For example, a player in EU can qualify as high as 1,000th, while a player in OCE, Asia or ME must finish in the top 100. Your matchmaking region determines the applicable cutoff.
Reaching 8 points awards the Purge Mask emoticon. That points reward is separate from the placement requirement for Lady Liberty.

How to enter and earn the skin
- Open Fortnite. Go to the Competitive or Events area and find The Purge’s Lady Liberty Cup.
- Select a scheduled solo session. Choose the listed Battle Royale or Zero Build session on October 17 or 18. Check the in-game schedule because the final start times are shown there.
- Check your account before queuing. You must be at least 13, or older if your local law requires a higher minimum; your account cannot be cabined; it must be in good standing, level 50 or higher, and protected with multi-factor authentication (MFA/2FA). Epic’s regional, platform and other eligibility restrictions also apply.
- Play for points. Placement and eliminations increase your tournament score. Surviving longer and earning eliminations generally gives you more opportunities to climb the leaderboard, but the result that matters is your final regional rank.
- Finish inside your region’s cutoff. Compare your final leaderboard position with the table above. Epic verifies potential winners before distributing rewards.
Account and eligibility checks
- Age: At least 13, unless the applicable local minimum is higher.
- Cabined status: Cabined accounts are not eligible.
- Account level: Level 50 or above.
- Account standing: The Epic account must be in good standing.
- Security: MFA/2FA must be enabled.
- Region and device: Epic’s event rules include regional and device restrictions beyond these basic checks.
Meet these conditions before the cup begins. A high score cannot override an eligibility failure during verification.
When and how the rewards arrive
Epic’s rules state that potential winners are contacted at the email address associated with their Epic account within 60 days of the applicable session. Keep the competing Epic account active and retain access to its email while verification is pending. The contact is not an instant code supplied by a third-party website; it is part of Epic’s winner-verification process.

Can you get Lady Liberty with a code or generator?
No verified Lady Liberty code or third-party redemption site is documented in Epic’s event materials. Treat websites, videos or messages promising a “Lady Liberty generator,” free V-Bucks, leaked tickets or an automatic unlock as suspicious. They may attempt to steal your Epic login, payment details or two-factor codes.
Epic Player Support says, “There are always opportunities for players to grab free items in Fortnite.” Its examples include in-game challenges, free Battle Pass content and securing an account with 2FA. Epic also says legitimate offers appear through the Epic Games Store or official Epic websites and social channels. Do not enter credentials on an external page just because it displays a screenshot of the outfit.

If a new challenge or promotion is announced, check all of these details on an official Epic domain before participating:

- Eligible regions, platforms and event dates.
- Age, account-level, MFA and account-standing requirements.
- Exactly which cosmetics are included: Lady Liberty, Purge Drone or another item.
- How Epic distributes the reward and how long verification takes.
