To use the Sakura Incubator in Steal An Egg, reach the Cherry Blossom area, follow the Crane unlock prompt, collect Sakura Crystals during Great Bloom, and charge an unhatched egg before mutating it. Community guides report that mutation unlocks at 100% charge and the meter can reach 150%, but they disagree about whether extra charge improves the chance of Spirit Bloom. Check the live odds and confirmation text in your game before spending crystals or submitting a valuable Crane.
What the Sakura Incubator does
The Sakura Incubator is described in community guides as a machine in the Cherry Blossom zone. It applies one of two Bloom-family mutations to an egg before it hatches: Bloom or Spirit Bloom. The result is random in the reported guides, so using the machine does not guarantee the rarer outcome.
Guides place the incubator near the back of the Cherry Blossom area. If it is not immediately visible, explore toward the rear of the zone and look for the machine or its interaction prompt.
How to unlock the Sakura Incubator
- Reach the Cherry Blossom zone.
- Find the Sakura Incubator and interact with it to read the current unlock prompt.
- Obtain a Crane if the prompt requires one, then check the confirmation text before submitting it.
Multiple guides describe a Crane as part of the unlock route, but they do not consistently establish whether the Crane is consumed. Do not assume it will be returned: confirm what the live prompt says before committing a rare or valuable copy.

How to get Sakura Crystals
Community guides report that Sakura Crystals come from special blossom trees during the Great Bloom event. When the event is active, find and break those trees to collect crystals. Ordinary trees are not identified as a dependable source in the cited guides.
Beebom reported Great Bloom recurring approximately every 30 minutes and lasting about three minutes in its 2026 guide. Those are approximate community-observed timings, not a guaranteed schedule; use the event indicator in your game rather than planning around an exact timer.

How to charge and mutate an egg
- Choose an egg that has not hatched and place it in the incubator.
- Deposit Sakura Crystals to raise the charge meter.
- Read the current panel for the charge threshold, available mutation, and any displayed odds.
- When the mutation action is available, review the confirmation and spend crystals only if the possible result is worthwhile for that egg.
- Hatch the egg after mutation.
Community guides report that mutation unlocks at 100% charge and that the meter has a 150% maximum. The community wiki recorded the interface phrases “Mutate (Unlocks at 100%)” and “150% MAX CHARGE” in August 2026; these are reported interface observations, not a guarantee that every current game version shows identical labels.

Does 150% charge improve Spirit Bloom odds?
The available guides do not agree on a single current odds table, or establish that charging from 100% to 150% always improves the chance of Spirit Bloom. AllThingsHow reported 97.5% Bloom and 2.5% Spirit Bloom. The Steal An Egg Wiki reported different panel snapshots: 97.5%/2.5% at one state, 60%/40% at full charge, and 90%/10% with a named paid luck boost. Another guide cautioned that the effect of charging beyond 100% was unverified.

Treat those numbers as source-specific snapshots, not universal or guaranteed probabilities. The displayed odds immediately before mutation are the most useful guide to the current attempt. If the game does not show odds, do not infer a Spirit Bloom chance from a guide’s different panel state or version.
Is mutation worth the crystals for your egg?
Compare the displayed mutation information with the egg’s own value and income before spending. A high-value egg may justify taking a random mutation chance; for a less valuable egg, the crystal cost may matter more than the possibility of a rarer outcome. Since the guides do not establish authoritative current multipliers for Bloom versus Spirit Bloom, use the effect shown in your own game rather than assuming a fixed income increase.

Published hatch examples are individual showcase results, not guaranteed rewards. NerdsChalk cited one showcase with a Bloom Mosasaurus at $1.7B/s, a Spirit Bloom Cosmic Dragon at $249M/s, and a Bloom Eternal Lunar Dragon at $3.7B/s. Those figures describe those reported outcomes only; they do not predict what a different egg will hatch into or earn.

The reported timings, crystal requirements, unlock behavior, and mutation odds come from gaming guides and community observations rather than a developer-owned page or official changelog. Live prompts and panels may therefore be more current than published figures. In particular, verify the Crane confirmation, crystal cost, charge threshold, and mutation odds at the moment you interact with the incubator.

Some guides also describe optional paid luck boosts or ways to skip a hatch timer. The reported core route does not require those: it uses the Crane unlock route, event crystals, the incubator, and an unhatched egg.
